Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Since our go-to in Warminster closed, we took our first trek to the Doylestown restaurant. The food is exactly the same. Can't judge the service since it was our first time there in a couple years.
But ,will keep you posted
Update:
We went back and the service was extraordinary. Seated right away and ordered within minutes.

Last visit was on Easter Sunday. It was very busy, but we were seated right away and the food came out promptly. Service was quick and cordial- I prefer waitstaff that is to the point and not overly chatty. Always awesome and delicious breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit.

Sorry this is late, we had dinner on Thursday night at Doylestown location. We were seated and everything normal, and then nothing. We were having coffee and talking, and realized our food had not come yet. Our waitress was busy on other side with guests. Finally , the manager was walking our way as I waved her over.She realized our order had not come yet over 30 minutes plus it wasn’t busy. She got the waitress and found out the check had not been processed. Then she jumped into action, the check was put in , and she brought us apps to hold us over. The dinner was good, and the waitress and manager constantly checked in on us. The waitress apologized multiple times for the oversight. The entire bill was taken care of by the manager. We love Perkins for the family atmosphere, good food and nice people. I know mess ups will happen, but how they see handled that matters. Our young people work there, and have great role models in the management team. Bad night turned into great experience!!

Probably get take out from here more than I should butttttt it's just so good. Never had a bad meal in any we've tried. Staff is always friendly. Some staff have gotten soooo used to my voice (gotta thank the thick twang I assume lol) that they already know my order before I even say it. Super polite and cheerful even when busy. Food has always been correct, hot and yummy upon pick up. Pretty much the ONLY take out I do, as I prefer home cooked meals, but with the value and quality of Perkins, basically home cooked without the dishes lol. For I believe $14, I get two meals outta one. So $7 per dinner for me is not bad at all..you can barely get cheap fast food for that and it wouldn't be near as good.
Now their chicken strips dinner is to die for. Soooo yummy, but the brown gravy? ABSO-F'KN-LUTE PERFECTION. Hands down best brown gravy I've ever had outside homemade back home in the South. Loved Finding a "piece of home" right down the road with this meal. Definitely give it a try if you haven't yet. Go at least once a week just for this

Food is always good but I feel like it’s like watching a free show coming in here every time. Some of the waitresses are all over the place, running about talking to themselves/yelling at each other, even with very few people eating in here so we always wonder what’s going on. Make sure you ask for a refill or whatever else you need once you get your food, they’ll drop the receipt off and you’ll never see them again!

Our sever Tyniq, (I hope that I have spelled his name correctly) was a very polite and courteous young man. He impressed Beth and myself with manners and service very much. It's wonderful for Beth and I, both senior citizens, to see a fine positive example of today's youth. He is being raised properly! You have an outstanding young man in your employ! A genuine pleasure!

I would recommend this place and worth of food . We ordered here through phone and Thanksgiving meals was worth it

Excellent food every time we go. Best Pancakes anywhere. Menu has something for everyone. Service staff is wonderful!

We eat at the Perkins in Doylestown often. They have a great menu at reasonable prices. Javen is usually our server. Her service is always exceptional and she deserves a big raise.

Food was good and served in a timely manner. Service was good. Nice place to have breakfast.

I bring my sons here for the great kids’ menu, and Sheri and Angela are always so welcoming and attentive - we love our outings here!

We come at least one a week and every time we come the service is great, the facility is clean and the waitresses are great! We love Perkin’s!

We wanted to eat at Cross Keys Diner but it was over an hour wait for a seat so we went to Perkins instead. Glad we did, the food and service was great. We got a table in a reasonable amount of time, the server was great and attentive, and everyone loved their meals. I'm usually not a visitor to chains, but this one seemed to be an exception.

Always an excellent experience. The food is great, prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding.

Had a very good lunch.They have some terrific waitresses, Danielle,Jackie and Javin always polite and quick to get your order to table! Will go again

Stopped in with the family after a long week. Breakfast was on point!!! Kids enjoyed themselves, thats all i really needed. But awesome spot, great staff, and the food is good, no complaints!!!

They do a great job here. The staff work very hard and are always nice.

First time at Perkins on the east coast. (2nd visit ever). Had the Triple egg Dare and a decaf tea. The waitress Jackie was on point. The food was ok. Took home a mammoth pineapple upside down muffin.
