Don Memo

Had my son’s early birthday and pre- graduation celebration with 15 guests. We’re so happy with the service. Allen was very helpful and friendly. He guide us through the ordering of food and drinks. A family style which worked very well. Each plates were presented beautifully and so delicious! We looked forward to every food served, Service,Food and ambience were impeccable. Thank you for making my son’s birthday memorable!

This is our go-to restaurant, so when my son graduated it was a no brainer to celebrate it there. Everything was spot on and the food was fabulous as usual. New things on the menu include the Duck Tetela with a cherry, hazelnut salsa matcha. YUM!. The sugar snap peas with green goddess dressing was bright and a firm favorite going forward. Thank you for making our evening so memorable.

This place consistently knocks it out of the park! Everything you order is absolutely delicious. We went with a large group and sampled what seemed like most of the menu. There wasn’t one dish that that didn’t impress us.

Absolutely wonderful. Every single dish we tried was delectable. The cocktails were composed and refreshing. The staff was attentive and competent, but Danae was superb. She anticipated needs, made suggestions, and made us feel valued and important. With nearly 20 years of serving experience between the two of us, we were very impressed with the service at Jesup Hall. We will certainly be visiting again.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and are very happy we did! All our drinks and dishes were good, Mexican with a twist. It’s on the pricey side but you won’t regret your meal here.

We were looking for a place to eat in Westport because we were in the area and accidentally found Don Memo when trying to find another restaurant. The restaurant is situated in the old Town Hall building. It looked like a new place inside or newly renovated, modern farmhouse vibe with lots of wood accents and real plants throughout. When we arrived we were the only people there but it quickly filled up. The staff was very friendly and helped us navigate through the menu. It’s mostly a la carte so we ordered the carnitas tacos and the chicken enchiladas with beans and rice as sides. The food was amazing, very fresh tasting, authentic Mexican fare. The only negative was that the drinks were a little pricey. We would definitely return to Don Memo next time we are in the area.

Hands down the best meal I have ever had in CT. The service was lovely, but more importantly the food and cocktails were fantastic. It’s a little hard to get a reservation, but I can not wait to return. Food: The was all simple but very flavorful. Sardine tostadas, beef short ribs with peanut mole, the salsa, and corn side were amazing. The guacamole was a little plain for my liking. Cocktails: They have an extensive cocktail/mezcal list. I tried the Oaxacan Sunrise and the prickly pear drink and both were fantastic.

EDIT: they’ve forgotten something both times we’ve done take out. Check your order before you leave to go home.

Went to celébrate our anniversary and we were surprised with a complementary glass of Prosecco, all the food was very fresh and tasty, dessert (4 leches) was amazing!! We will gladly go back.

Better than Bar Taco, Greg is awesome! Really knows his stuff, very welcoming to us in our first time to this establishment!!

Love this restaurant. The staff is wonderful. Eating outside is a plus. The drinks are awesome. The salads are fantastic. The mains are delish. And OMG the new pineapple upside down cake dessert!

Amazing food once again from Chef Taibe. My favorites were the Avocado, Tuna Tostada, Green Chorizo Quesadilla, and the Beef Rib. But everything was amazing!

Love this place, sharing is best at this tapas style location, if weather is nice then sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Everything on the menu is good and a great selection of wine and spirits with a particularly good choice of tequila

This place is amazing - the food, the drinks, the ambiance, the service. Really, you should go and get the carnitas tacos, they will not disappoint. It is a little pricey, so value isn't 5 stars, but it's westport, so I was expecting that. The service is great - the waitstaff is considerate, readily avaialble, but not pushy. The food is amazing - I've gone three times now and have tried a plethora of items on their menu - all great. The drinks are also really good, alcoholic and non-alc alike. I also love that the gratuity is included and is split across the kitchen and service staff. Overall 5 stars!

This place did not disappoint. Definitely come here with a small group so you can try a lot of things! I visited with 3 others and we ordered about 7 or 8 food items to share between us. Everything was terrific and the cocktails were A+ delicious. You can tell all the ingredients they use are fresh (even in the drinks) and a lot of thought is put into the flavor profiles of each item. Staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. They pace the food so you can really enjoy each dish (or two) before they bring out the next things. (This also makes sure everything you're getting is fresh and not sitting on counter) Highly recommend! I can't wait to return here and try everything else we wanted to get. Then return again and again :)

Wow. This place was unreal. Hard to say its the best Mexican I ever ate but I am having trouble remembering a better. The atmosphere is great. Very clean, open and modern feeling. The Avocado appetizer is so good i wanted to order another one for my main course. We got most of the vegetarian items on the menu and one was better than the next. The dirty rice was unreal. So was the cabbage. Try it all. You wont be disappointed. GET THE AVOCADO APPETIZER !!

All those vegetarians out there gotta try the squash quesadilla, so yum. Lots of other veg options too. Good drinks as well. But, by no means authentic Mexican, so don't come with that mindset.

Awesome authentic Mexican food. A different take on the traditional dishes which creates a unique experience. We are from CA, so we have had a lot of great Mexican food and this is one of the best!

My new favorite place in town. Great for outdoor dining, and the margaritas are awesome! The tostadas are all delicious, and don’t underestimate the cemita (chicken sandwich), it was incredible. The place is definitely overpriced — which is disappointing, because if it wasn’t, I’d be here all the time! But special occasions will have to do.

We took a ride here from Westchester the other evening. The experience and food were well worth it. We shared several of the small plates and ordered a few of the larger ones. The food was all excellent and came out (pleasantly) surprisingly quick! The service is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was fantastic. We'll definitely be going back!
