Whip is awesome! Beautiful salon, very clean and calm environment. Urszula was my stylist and she did an amazing job. I haven’t had a haircut in years and was very attached to my hair. Urszula helped me figure out what kind of haircut I wanted and encouraged me that I would look beautiful with any length. I felt comfortable and confident in a salon for the first time in a long time and I have only Urszula to thank! Erika is amazing, she did both of my girls hair ! She is so nice and so sweet! We can’t wait to come back ! She did a haircut and tinsel on my little one and highlights and hair cut for my older daughter ! I already booked my roots and highlights with her as well and I have been going to the same person for 5 years!

Urszula did a stunning job with my highlights! I asked for natural highlights and the result was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and I was very happy with my visit. The service was incredible and was much better than any previous stylist i’ve worked with! Marchello did such a great job touching up my balayage after about a year of regrowth. He was friendly and attentive through the whole process and helped me pick great colors that I absolutely love! Will definitely be coming back.

I’ve happily followed Cara Bucciferro from her previous salon to Whip in Westport, CT. What a friendly and comfortable place to get your hair done professionally and with great care. Cara is a true artist in how she both looks at your hair and then painstakingly works to transform your head, with naturally applied color and tones as well as shine. She takes in not only the texture of your hair and how you wish to style it, but also considers your lifestyle and how you wish to look your best. Cara listens. I never feel that I am being rushed. And as a woman in my 60s, with particular hair care concerns, she makes me feel heard. There’s nothing as satisfying as walking out of a salon and feeling happy each time you catch yourself in the mirror at home. Thank you, thank you, Cara Bucciferro. Thank you, Whip Salon!

So my hair story is decades of using the same stylist in NY, who happens to also style celebrities etc etc. For at least a year now, my base color and highlights have been less blond and more ginger, to the point where someone said my hair color was like Prince Harry’s. Despite my attempts to communicate this to my original stylist, it wasn’t getting better. I decided to try Cara bc I liked her “lived in blond” IG description and given that’s how my hair HAD been previously I decided to start w a consultation. Cara is calm, and definitely has the coloring skills to do “lived in blond.” Check out her IG if you need to see what I mean. I scheduled my next appt already and we will fine tune (I’m def happy w how my hair is just walking out of the salon today) as Cara had to work around and with my previous color. I think she’s quite talented and smart! Definitely recommend her, but book a consultation if you’re nervous like I was.

I usually go into the city for my color but didn't have time this month so thought I'd try out Whip Salon. Thrilled that I won't be needing to make the trek into the city anymore now that I've found Danielle!
