J Fosters never disappoints! Graham Central Station is my favorite ice cream flavor I have EVER had! I tried the blueberry graham for the first time today and it was incredible. I highly recommend!

Wonderful local ice cream shop. They have what my wife considers the world's best ice cream flavor: Graham Central Station. I think it is wonderful, but I enjoy many of their other flavors, so I cannot decide between them. Still, I consider it one of the best I've cream shops in CT. Go and enjoy!

Wow! This was on our bucket list to do when we returned to New England and we were glad we did. The ice cream here is amazing! A small is perfect. Awesome customer service and ice cream we wish was available everywhere! You are very lucky to have J Foster Ice Cream!!

Update: 12/30/2023 - Grabbed me a quart of that Reese's ice cream... sitting at home with a giant spoon!

Love the Reese's ice cream. Mmmm.... Especially when they make a cookie sandwich with it. Oh, to die for!

Best ice creams I ever had. Good variety of flavors. We regularly visit to have Graham’s chocolate fudge, cotton candy. Number of varieties. Taste is very very Good. Thank you for providing a good variety of ice creams with good quality and service. We are visiting again and again and again.......

I called to see if they had a flavor, they didnt BUT they volunteered to call me when it became available. Great customer service seeing as how i was coming from MA for their apple cider gelato, which btw is AMAZING...and the maple bacon ice cream too. If you love good ice cream, this is the place!!

Just phenomenal!!! The cookie monster ice cream and homemade waffle cone is some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Service is amazing, the girl behind the counter was super understanding of my girlfriend’s nut allergy. We will be back ASAP 👍🏼🍦

The ice cream is good, really good. Great variety to flavors with some new takes on old favorite's. I think where j fosters really stands apart is with their waffle cones. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, and waffle cones are just waffle cones. But that is where you'd be wrong. The cone isn't an after thought here and is given as much attention as their ice cream. I can't say enough good things about this place. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.

The most amazing ice cream with such variety of choices! Fresh, decadent, delicious! They have small batches of alternatives too ( almond milk, oat milk, gelato, sorbet...). Check out the freezer for ice cream sliders and cookies sandwiches! And the best ever ice cream cakes.

Delicious! Ice cream is always the best! Good prices and friendly staff! Have been here twice and will definitely be back again soon! Only thing is they don't do soft serve ice cream now, only in the summer...but that's okay, still a great ice cream shoppe!

They have some unique flavors as wells as old standby's such as peanut butter cup, chocolate brownie and the best cookie dough around! My kids absolutely love J Fosters more than any of the chains. Good local business to support that is clearly doing something right. Sunday afternoon the parking lot was packed.

All the employees there are nice, friendly and accommodating! Flavors are so good - especially graham central and coffee oreo trails. Overall a great place to get ice cream; it's run very well, too.

Initially we were greeted by (presumably) J. Foster, a very interesting looking character who asked us to please wear our masks although he was not wearing a mask. I will let this pass as he is a sign and hopefully unable to transmit disease. Inside more disappointment ensued as we were informed of the unavailability of soft serve ice cream. Choking back tears, I examined the multitude of flavors of hard ice cream and felt much relief and even elation. Ultimately, I selected a raspberry chip yogurt, while my companions chose mint chip (referred to here as chunk) and vanilla cherry. The prices were excellent, because my brother paid. The ice cream was delicious and we enjoyed watching ants impale each other as we ate.

Their ice cream is really good!!! We always stop when we're in the area.

Love this place. Ice cream is so good. Got a brownie sundae and it was delicious, brownie was tasty. Also got a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich! Was delicious. I'll be back

Friendly staff - they are happy to answer questions and let you try samples if you are having a hard time choosing. They are quick and good at what they do, and handle a big crowd quickly.

Great ice cream and gelato!! This was my first time visiting J Foster. I tried the Banana bread ice cream (cream cheese ice cream base with pieces of banana bread and chocolate chips) and the peanut butter gelato. Both flavors were amazing! The gelato was so creamy. We went at 9 PM and it was busy but service was very quick. Can’t wait to go back.

Great Ice cream, great service, reasonable prices.......did I mention great ice cream.....
