Stopped in for some hardware and the young woman was so nice and helped me out tremendously. Would recommend over any big box store. So nice to know places like these still exist in a world we live in today. Kudos to you and your staff. You just gained a customer for life.

For a $2 purchase, Penelope spent about 20 minutes finding the right size screws and washers then completed the repair herself without being asked. During that time she was polite, friendly and patient. An amazing experience that earned a new loyal customer.

This store has a big selection of things - everything from carpentry to lawn care to plumbing and painting. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, without being pushy. Some items are a bit expensive, but small stores can't compete with mass marketers. For most of your at home needs, this is a great store.

I'm updating this review, 4 years later: I have to say that every time I've gone into this store, I've been treated kindly and with respect. The people there are curious about my level of knowledge about what I need for a job, but never assume I know nothing. I consistently feel welcome here, the folks who work here don't talk down to you. I keep coming back again and again because it's just SO different than my experience going to big hardware chains. No one assumes I'm incapable - they just help you however you need. THANK YOU!

Staff here aim to please, they make sure your needs are met and always greet you with a smile. It's always a pleasure to do business with them. I'm a maintenance guy and a nearby strip mall. And these folks are straight honest and professional.

This local hardware store has it all. Most important is the old school local customer service that you definitely can’t find at the big box stores. The staff at Carr are both friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They seem to carry everything, and also have great clearance sales, and a loyalty program. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

One of the best hardware stores in the valley. I purchased a snowblower from them a while back and they were friendly and helpful. Topped off the machine with TruFuel and oil and helped me load it up. Great experience as always.

Going to Carr’s is the real hardware store experience - you can walk in and there’s someone asking how they can help. I would have spent probably double the time and effort to have potentially walked away without a solution had I went to a big box store.

Needed some bolts and parts for my bike, both Deb and Barry were EXTREMELY helpful. Not only did Deb come outside to identify what size bolts i needed but as i paid she she headed back out to start putting the bolts on to save me some time (she even asked my permission to make sure i was OK with her touching my bike). A+ team over there, patient polite and knowledgeable !

Wonderful hometown family owned hardware store. Very helpful, no pressure sales team. Nice to not have to walk a mile for a paint brush like in a big box store. It's a True Value so quality products.

Excellent customer service. They might have prices that are a little more than the big box stores but they more than make up the difference in service and customer care. Actually they saved me money and time today for suggesting a part to fix an exterior door lock today. I thought I had to buy a new dead bolt and lockset combo but they had a Schlage replacement part that resolved my issue. Saved me the cost and time of installing a new lockset and dead bolt. Not to mention the spare keys I would haved to distribute to family members. The manager(Charles) is the best. You will have all of my business going forward. Thanks again Ed G

1st visit to this store. Very well laid out & organized, was easy to locate items I needed. Staff is wonderful, very polite and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be shopping this store more often.

Good products, great customer service. Probably not the lowest prices in the world but decent enough to make it worth it to support local vs. the big box corporations.
