Just completed an oil change and the customer service was above and beyond! The technician, Ty, was amazing and not only was he concerned on the longevity of my vehicle he showed concerns in our personal safety. Thanks Ty!!!

They aligned my 2015 RAM 1500, did a fabulous job. Got the appointment within 2 days for 10:30 am. Was there early so they did it early, super convenient. Very professional operation, highly recommend giving them a try.

Don& Damian best quality reliable service around Litchfield County. Went to 4 other big name tire places in the Torrington area. Called these guys up& they were able to fulfill my needs.

I drove from NH to CT to pick up a St. Bernard puppy and as I was leaving, for a 3 hour drive home, my daughter noticed a squeaking sound, so I check tires; lugnuts on back passenger tire are FIRE HOT-went to a place that tried to help, but technically closed-they recommended Monroe-so I call, Donald asks if I can drive to his shop 2 miles away-YES-then tells me he’s not supposed to be working on cars cuz he is all alone, but is willing to look and see if he can get me home when I tell him my story-HE IS AN ANGEL ON EARTH-welcomed my puppy in his shop to stay cool, fixed my brake after having waited 20 minutes for parts to arrive-this man went above and beyond to make sure myself, my daughter and our brand new puppy would make it home safely and gave me such a great deal-I feel forever in his debt-THANK YOU DONALD, and Monroe-you should be SO PROUD of this gentleman’s work ethic-ANGEL ON EARTH!! Thank you sooo much for being there for me, my daughter and our beautiful St. Bernard puppy! We will NEVER forget your kindness!!

Josh and Ty are outstanding guys! They made a scary brake situation perfect and got us back on the road in hours. We are full time RVers and our truck brakes had an emergency situation. We limped into town, called ahead and got an appointment the next morning. We were in and out in a few hours. They were so personable and knowledgeable! We highly recommend these guys!

I got a set of 4 tires and was looking for a place where to put them on my car. Most of the shops were already booked for couple weeks, but these guys know how to work with customers! If I could give 10 stars I would. While traveling from New Haven back to upstate NY (I work in New Haven), I had a catastrophic failure with my rear right brake, causing a lot of damage, I had my truck towed to Monro in Winstead, and I waited till they opened. As I entered the building I was greeted by Ty Poulton. He heard me out and started the process to get my truck in and repaired. I was also greeted by Josh Perry, both men looked over the truck And were tracking down parts immediately. They needed to keep it for a few days which was understandable, but they did keep me in the loop. What was really awesome is that they repaired and replaced everything at no charge.( I had all my pads and rotors replaced about a month and a half earlier at another Monro in West Haven). I had my receipt and they honored it. Ty and Josh have raised the bar on professionalism and compassion. They know that if I ever need service, I will make the trip to see them!

Josh and ty are amazing. Josh is definitely the most genuine caring most down to earth person I've ever met and he has been a complete angel helping us when it comes to our car. He definitely gained customers for life. He is professional and runs the store like a true manager nothing but good stuff to say about this location n employees !

Tyler was wonderful. He set up my appointment and the vehicle was done in a timely manner. He called to let me know it was ready and he had a worker check my lug nuts before I left. Very professional and will return in the future.

Ty and the team at this location are the bomb. We are from New Haven and were traveling through as we often do. Our truck overheated on Thanksgiving Friday afternoon. When others, including a Dodge dealer in Torrington, refused to help, they did even though they had cars in every bay. They gave us a correct diagnosis, price and timeline - helped us figure out what was best because we had a Dodge warranty. Ty helped us line up a tow truck, kept the keys and handed off the truck over the weekend so it could be fixed this week. While we were there, the phones were ringing off the hook, people were coming in - it was super busy. And each person was treated with respect and were helped or scheduled. Ty and Co. helped us turn a bad situation into a tolerable one and memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you.

I had car issues and took my vehicle here. The manager was amazing! He took care of me personally. He was very informative and made sure I understood what was going on. I couldn't have asked for better service. It was quick easy and friendly! Definitely feels like family here. I left feeling confident to hit the road again. 5 stars all the way!

Got a flat tire an hour away from home and fortunately was right in front of Monro! We were missing parts to put the spare on. The owner and technicians were incredible - they gave us the parts and swapped the tire immediately. They certainly saved the day. A huge thanks!

Was able to set a last minute appointment for an exhaust repair. They took my car in same day and was able to get it done. Good people there too, all the employees were super helpful and really friendly.

Ty and Josh were amazing! Our family was all packed in our van, ready to head out on a long road trip. When our engine started to overheat we pulled into Monro and they helped us out in such a timely manner! They were kind and courteous and solved our problem in no time. I would absolutely use them again!

This shop was awesome, I called an was seen within a hour, Ian was a huge help went above and beyond to explain things 2nd time here and he is why. I’m unsure about the the other guys name but he changes tires, from NYC he explained things to me as well and I appreciate his honesty about specifics on a Subaru, Plus everyone had on a mask so I felt safer. I’m from the West Coast and don’t have access to shops I’m comfortable with or my Subaru dealership but everything I needed was done during a heavy snow and I’m so much safer now on the road! Thank you guys for getting the job done and the incredibly fair pricing. I’ve shared my experience with others and I hope it brings in more business.
