Courtyard by Marriott Omaha East/Council Bluffs, IA

I live in hotels for work during the week and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Super clean, quiet, and the staff was amazingly Iowa nice!!! Will always stay here in the future. Watched a maintenance guy scrub a floor stain for hours with diligence, Steven was his name. The concierge was super friendly sorry man can't remember your name but he was so damn nice and made me feel like I was home for the night. The food service staff was great! Especially Dan. Thank you! This is why I love people from Iowa! The hotel could've been dirty and a POS but the staff was absolutely charming. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

Stayed at this location for a basketball event in the complex across the parking lot! Great location for sporting events!

The staff were all very friendly and always greeted us upon our many comings and goings!

The room was incredibly clean with a beautiful workout facility and spacious lobby for groups to hang in between games.

Nice outdoor area as well to gather.

Stayed one night for a sport meet nearby. Haley was lovely at check in/out. Hotel was impeccably clean, our room was spacious and well appointed. Food and drinks at the Bistro were great, but Salvador was exceptional! We had a big crew and he handled everything with humor and wonderful service! Great experience!

Room was clean, though no liners in trash cans which is a bit weird. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels/amenities. Overall my stay was nice and there was no loud noises or such disturbing me. Breakfast is not free, but they do have a nice paid breakfast/dinner for very reasonable prices and portions. Lobby area is nice and has infused water & regular coffee available free.

Snacks shop is well stocked, prices are fair. Gym room was quite nice and available 24/7. Pool area was clean and didn’t smell of chlorine heavily. Business rooms/meeting rooms available, printer/computer available, coin operated laundry room on site as well. Overall a good, clean, and quiet stay.

Hotel seems (probably is) brand new. Nice amenities, great staff and strong countertops. I’m picky, and would definitely recommend staying here.

A sad occasion brought us to Council Bluffs for a few days. From the moment we arrived every staff member was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We must have had contact with half the staff. The Front Desk staff was great. The Bartender, Barista, and Cooks were wonderful. The Techs that drove the shuttle were the best and the service was greatly appreciated. Our room was beautiful and full of modern amenities. The Common Area Lobby had so many areas to eat, drink and visit. Our favorite were the nooks with private TVs to have an evening cocktail, watch a movie and play cards.

Great staff. Nice clean room. Good location. Safe when traveling alone.

I have stayed here twice on my way to South Dakota, specifically returning here for my second trip, given the positive experience of the first.

What I like about this hotel is it is quiet. I travel a bit and there have been places that are really loud, with noisy guests or people coming and going at all hours. This place is quiet.

Second, there has been abundant and well lit parking when I have stayed here.

Third, the room heating/ventilation is not very loud -that is often a problem with other properties/hotels.

The exercise room is larger and better equipped than most hotels in its class, and the pool is large enough to swim in.

The staff is friendly and polite. I did not have any issues where I needed additional assistance.

Very nice clean, what you would expect from a courtyard. The location is good but you do sort of have to navigate through a parking lot to get there. Very nice and attentive staff.

Very nice hotel one of the best we've stayed in. The desk staff especially we dealt with Lori and Jules were very nice and helpful. Also the rooms were very clean and the bed is very comfortable. We will be making this hotel our stop every time we travel out west.

Great hotel. Great rooms. Good service. Gym is nice and very spacious. Swimming pool was a good size but it definitely smelled like WAY too much chlorine and the towels people used the night before were still around the area in chairs and such.

Cleanest Hotel I have ever been in! Super friendly staff. Love the lighting in the room. It was quiet and great lobby and happy hour! LOVE this hotel! I will be staying here every time I have to come up for business. I did not have reservation as I didn't know how far I would get with work. Best decision I made not booking elsewhere. Great location as well. Off the beaten path but yet easily accessible to the Highway.

Everyone was so incredibly pleasant and kind, despite the horrible weather outside. The hotel was incredibly clean and VERY well maintained. The Starbucks and wonderful food menu was a plus. We would stay here over and over. Again, the staff was just excellent!

Hotel was very very clean, staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The pool area might've been more pleasant had there been more ventilation, but the water and temperature were all very nice and towels were provided in the pool area, there was no limit, just a stack where you could grab as many as needed. We had food within the hotel's Bistro recommended by the young lady that checked us in, we did come down to the lobby for food, and it was really good, appropriately priced and we enjoyed the fast service, the secluded booth areas with the TV and modern feel made the experience even better. Overall a very nice and relaxing stay for the grownups and kids. Would recommend!

Updated Aug 2022: Awesome hotel. It's really nice and clean but the best thing about it is their employees. I don't think I passed one without them saying hello. My son ran ahead of me and around the corner, in the short time it took me to reach him an employee (I did not get his name but I think he was a maintenance man) was talking to him trying to help him find me. Its such a rarity these days but all the employees seem genuinely happy at their job.

Older post: This was probably the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. I checked in on 9/15 and stayed one night. This was probably the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Most of my interactions were with the staff on 9/15 after 3 p.m. and they all were great. EVERY employee was super nice, super helpful, and super caring about our experience. Honestly, I am not sure you could find a better crew. The hotel is beautiful but your crew is what makes the experience absolutely amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent hotel! The room was great with a very comfortable bed. The Bistro/Bar was an awesome way to have dinner and drinks without leaving the hotel. The margaritas, and old fashion were delicious! The pool was clean and we enjoyed a quick dip after driving all day! All around, super happy with our stay and the staff are super friendly and helpful :)

Very clean, very new hotel. Hotel overall and room were very clean and well maintained. Brandon at the front desk was a pro, checked me in fast, covered all the basics, got me the floor I wanted, a model for how all hotel check ins should be. Great happy hour at the lobby bar. The only negative I have for the room is the smoke detector is in the middle of the room on the ceiling and a green light blinks every 10 seconds. Super annoying at night, really needs to be fixed. Other than that a great overall experience.
