Fast Break

I had the pleasure of dining at Cindy's Fast Break today. Their blueberry pancakes were equal to Jimmy's in SSH and with the blueberries in the pancakes, perhaps a bit better. Bacon was very good as well. Portion sizes were more than expected. I was glad I chose the short stack.
The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The prices were comparable to Jimmy's, and they accept credit cards for a small fee.
The decor was eclectic and while it works, I would suggest a Jersey Shore theme since it would give the establishment a better home town feel.
Fast Break is located on Rt. 37 eastbound just before Vaughn Avenue in Toms River NJ...

Family lives around the corner from this diner, they have wonderful food and honestly a nice variety to try as well.

They had a lot more reviews google removed over two thousand i'm not sure why still.. I used to live here in come here every day for my breakfast The staff here are very friendly. They will memorize your name and your looks and your likes. Most times you don't even have to order your food or coffee. They will already know.. I don't live here no more. But I still come here as my first and only diner I choose

The atmosphere was awesome and so were the employees. Military discount and first responders so that’s nice. The monte Cristo was decent to say the least. On a mission to find the best one in jersey. Haven’t so far. Nice and quiet spot on Tom’s river. Prices are fair and reasonable.

I love this place. Food is always delicious. The servers are amazing and the owner Cindy always comes out to say "hello" whenever we're there. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great breakfast!

We go here every weekend (best grits, breakfast quesadillas, good omelets, good service!) while eating today they asked if we could switch tables to accommodate a larger party which we didn’t mind anyway, but they comped the bill! Good people great food!

Good local, small business breakfast spot. They have the best fresh, squeezed orange juice and pancakes I’ve ever had in my life.

Fast break is a special place for me. Me and my s/o go there just about every other weekend. We each have our favorites off the menu, and we have this sort of harmony in this wonderful little glass box with our perfect little diner mugs of coffee. It is a spot if I've ever known one.

If you like hometown, family-owned diners, this is your place. It's our go-to breakfast spot when we visit Toms River. Just good food, good service, and a cool atmosphere. Parking is tight and you might have to wait a few minutes for a table, but it's worth it!

A great Monte Cristo, ham was a little salty but still the way I like it. Coffee was fresh brewed. Room is too noisy, all hard surfaces.

Only been here for breakfast, reasonably priced, I like the simplicity of just ordering a couple of eggs without dropping a small fortune or ordering a bigger meal. They have grits, which I love from my days working down South. The waitstaff are very friendly, lunch options look promising.
