Cattus Island County Park Parking Lot

This is my go to, they have so many trails and you never get bored. I love the scenery 😍 and very family oriented. A great place to take your family , it has a learning center for kids that's free to look at the animals like, turtles, snakes,crabs,a bee home.they also have still life animals . They have classes on Learning so much Art , Animals and their habitats and don't forget the Butterfly garden. Absolutely Amazing ❤

A nice little park even around April. You won't find many people here and it's a fun place to ride a bike, even in the parking lot which is huge.

Such a fun place to explore and take photos of the different nature scenes. The trails are so cool too. They have a map of the park so you can see what trails go where. It's a family friendly park in my opinion. Very clean also. 👌

This is an amazing place to run/walk/bike. It looks like something from Jurassic Park. If you dropped me here and told me it was NJ, I wouldn’t believe you. Very well maintained as well and easy to follow the trails. Heres a picture of the deer friend I found the other day while at Cattus.

Numerous pleasant trails to choose from, none being too long (the most about a mile and a half). Chances to see real interesting wildlife are uncommon but still exist. Good place to bring kids because the trails aren’t too long and there’s a playground, as well as a information center with creatures in tanks to look at.

Beautiful destination right in the heart of NJ.

I am just now discovering my newest close park and I want to know every inch of it. The paths the water the bees and butterflies so much to explore I can see myself spending every season here.

My favorite park in the area with walking paths and "hidden" beaches. Perfect place to go for a stroll on a nice spring day. Dog friendly and you can ride your bicy le there too.

Awesome walkable off the radar park.

Still a Great 👍 Park with trails, wildlife and scenery. Excellent place to go for a walk, with or without your favorite dog 🐕. Or to enjoy some birdwatching!

Beautiful park with unique tidal pools and views of the bay. I love the blue, red, and yellow trails. I don't feel like I'm in New Jersey.
