Fire & Oak - Montvale

OMG THIS RESTAURANT IS THE BEST. I seriously loved it and it was the perfect spot to celebrate my bday. I was really happy with the drink and food choices. They even had sushi and great deserts. The kitchen is 5 stars along with the waitress and the decor. I came here last when my grandma had just passed so I left before even ordering anything and I’m happy to say my visit here has been complete!

Great food and such a huge place with no empty seating.. that gave us an idea already how wonderful the food is going to be.. don't miss if your in this area

Shane gave us such a wonderful first experience for dinner at Fire & Oak from beginning to end! The food and drinks were delicious, and Shane was incredibly attentive to everything we needed. If a drink or condiment was running low, he was already at the table offering us another before we noticed. Amazing service that sadly is rare nowadays. Definitely will be back to have the short rib dinner entree again, and will be requesting Shane as our server! 10/10 experience.

Tens across the board! This place beat all of my expectations. I came here for dinner with my boyfriend on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The live DJ was playing great music and people were dancing right in front of the door. We ordered margaritas which were perfect, my boyfriend ordered a seafood dish and I had Branzino with crab on top. The food was to die for, everything was delicious and perfectly made. On top of the great food, drinks, and DJ, the staff was amazing! The host at the front greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. Our original server was so attentive and nice, they switched toward the end of the night, and the second was great too. As soon as she started she went to each table to asks if we were ok and wanted more drinks. This place is setting the bar high.

The most insane amount of fries I’ve ever received anywhere (and the tastiest). The food was incredible and plenty. My partner and I got a few dishes to share and honestly, if we weren’t being gluttons we could’ve shared an app and an entree because Jesus, do they feed you. My one and only issue was that the coconut shrimp sushi rolls were a little too sweet but overall, everything was incredible.

Wonderful atmosphere for a date night. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated immediately. The servers were attentive, however it was very busy and we did have to wait awhile for additional drinks but that's understandable given the Valentine's day crowd. My husband had the prime rib which was among the best I've tasted, and I had the rigatoni & wild boar ragout which was fantastic. The servings were generous, enough for leftovers for both of us. All in all, a very comfy, relaxed yet sophisticated dinner.

We stayed in Marriott , for 2 days as our flight was cancelled due to bad weather. This was the restaurant in the hotel. We had less options so thought of giving it a try.

We were shocked to see how tasty the food was. We tried all their signature dishes for lunch and dinner. Ambience of the place was awesome. The staff were very polite and so courteous. Bar area is soo perfect. Absolutely recommend this place.

My son and I just moved 2 mins away from here and figured tonight we would find a good place to eat. This place did not disappoint! We loved it!

Valentines was lovely at Fire & Oak!! The spicy passion cocktail with black salt rim was delicious. We ordered calamari & volcano sushi for appetizers, and they were so good. Mains, we ordered a burger, salmon and pasta. The lava cake with vanilla icecream scoop was delicious!!! Service was amazing and the ambience was lovely.

This place was awesome. The burgers and ribs were both super tasty, but the highlight for me was the pizza! Detroit style pizza, super crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The only problem is the price of everything, but I wouldn’t knock points off because the food and service is very good. Definitely check this spot out for a low key, upscale dining experience. Yesterday we held a surprise birthday party in the balcony room with 17 people at this restaurant and it was amazing! This place is stunning when you open the door to the food. We had ordered many different starters, sushi, mac and cheese, french fries, surf and turf, filet mignon, and everything was great. A lot of credit goes to the waiter we had. He didn’t mixup, forget, or make any mistakes. People we’re moving all around the room and the waiter made sure everyone got what they ordered. He was so great that we were talking about it the day after and I just had to mention it. The private room was soooooo perfect for the event. I’ll suggest this place to anyone who wants a guaranteed slam dunk on chic decor, tasty food, and true service.

I loved every bit of my stay here. The food was very good. We struggled a bit with the large portion, but i could not drop my fork. LOL. The server was very friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions and suggested a good wine for my wife, which she loved so much. We will definitely be back.....

Took a while to find a park, though, it however helped out after that large meal....😁

Fantastic food and service. The decor and ambiance is great too. Our waiter was able to make wine suggestions for us that paired beautifully with our meals. Everything from appetizers to dessert and coffee was phenomenal.

We've been going to the Fire & Oak restaurant for over a year now and we really missed them during the isolation period.
The minute we found out they were serving curbside we called and ordered a scrumptious dinner and a few sides. It was amazing, all the staff were wearing the proper protective gear as they loaded our order into the back seat of our car. Until we can go back inside the lovely restaurant, we're happy to be able to get the curbside service and see friendly faces wearing a smile behind the masks!
Everything was wonderful, we're regulars now, it's a great way to get the best food and drinks to go! Thank you Fire & Oak, 'see you again soon!

Beautiful atmosphere and the best menu for a variety of delicious dishes, excellent wine, brews on tap and desserts!

We were in the area and went here for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is warm and inviting and has an upscale/ cosmopolitan vibe. The staff are well trained and service-oriented. The menu contains an eclectic assortment of high quality options to meet just about anyone's palate. All of the food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. From the coconut shrimp appetizer to the entrees like the chicken fusilli pasta to the fish sandwich and an absolutely delishish special menu item of filet quesadillas. Highly recommend a trip here for a delicious meal, cozy and upscale environment and great service.

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! We went to take my mother out for her birthday and she had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

We had our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here last weekend and could not have been more thrilled. Each and every person was a pleasure to deal with, the food was fantastic, the ambiance was warm and cozy, and the service was exceptional. Thank you Josh and Patrick and the entire staff!!!

This place was always my go to when there was no place else. They have decent food and I love the fire and oak burger with apple wood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. No other place can make burgers like this. A bonus is getting the french fries with the truffle oil with parmigiana cheese and herbs. Again no other place does it quite like this worth the $2.00 extra charge for the truffle fries. The Yuca mashed potatoes was for a side dish later always amazing. The pricing has gone a little higher here and items disappeared for appetizers like the filet mignon Quesadilla but understandable due to rising costs. Take out doesn’t disappoint the inside restaurant atmosphere is really decent here too. The art work of the tree is where we always would sit when guests. If I ever go back I will try to update a photo of this.
