Dairy Queen Store

Been going to Dairy Queen forever - nearly 60 years in more than a few different states... This place is very different from other Dairy Queens - the ice cream is much better tasting, sundaes are better, blizzards taste better. It tastes like Dairy Queen tasted when I was a kid - brought back a lot of memories. Great services, very friendly. Others have mentioned the prices are high - my wife and I thought they were cheaper than other Dairy Queens we've been at and the portions were better.

Food was great, the place had a lot of character, and the workers were very friendly! Much better than Starbucks. Portions were also very large. I'll definitely be coming back.

I grew up with Dairy Queen. Their Blizzards are fantastic. They still have chocolate soft serves. They have chocolate and butterscotch cone dips. I sound excited because where I live, the DQs do not have chocolate soft serve or butterscotch cone dip. This place is a small piece of heaven.

Love the Vintage look and feel to it, and apparently I'm not the only one! After waiting in a line around the parking lot, everything was made worth it with all that dairy queen has to offer! Amazing deserts! Thank god I don't live anywhere near here or I might've gotten a bit chunky coming everyday 🤣

Who doesn't love great Icecream?

Stopped for a cone after a hike on this beautiful day. Plenty of outdoor benches to sit on while enjoying our ice cream. Great local institution! Fyi, cash only.

This DQ is so cute and fun to visit. The staff is always friendly. Have been coming here practically my whole life. Support this great location. And PS they have some kosher flavors (vanilla and chocolate), but no heksher on the cones, not that i'm judging hahaha 😜

Fantastic ‘Old school Dairy Queen. This location has been a landmark in Montvale for as far back as I can remember. Open year round - a great place to take the kids for a step back in time to a great ice cream store! If it weren’t for the new cars parked in the lot, I could easily imagine this as it was fifty years ago! Great place for great memories.

Love Dairy Queen, I must get a Blizzard... I don't have one near me, so whenever im by one...i have to stop in.

The quality and product is upto the name, short of staff but they are good and professional cash only place.

What's not to like about Dairy Queen. This particular location is a throwback to the way dairy queen was in my youth. You will love it.

Not only the icecream is tasty but also the employees is very friendly. I highly recommend them since this specific location is really the best + always new flavors.

This is basically the same as it was from the late '50s. I remember coming here is a little kid and it still brings back those memories. Nothing like an original franchise from that time as opposed to these plasticky things you see here everywhere. I just try to avoid it at peak times it's too much to wait.

Enjoy the nostalgia. If they're open during cold weather I will definitely come here. I don't need the extra calories but I love the extra pleasure.

I got a cherry dip soft cone. Super good! My husband got his favorite, a mint chip blizzard! Really nice and professional young people working there so service was great even though it was crowded.

It's so great that they are open year round. I love deciding on thirty degree whether, "you know what, I want ice cream right now." in the summer is really nice to be able to sit outside and eat with your friends. It's a very convient place with great service. The ice cream is amazing too!

Love coming to Dairy Queen, especially the one on Chestnut Ridge. They are friendly and quick to service.

I've worked here for 21 years. Managing this landmark for 8 years.. the owners are beautiful people inside and out. My life is pretty much made of stories from this place. And the owner has stood by me through my good times and bad. Anyways the reason for me writing this is to let everyone know ... we don't cut corners. Period. Every night the machines are emptied sanitized and left for me to put together and sanitize again to ensure the best quality product. Every topping is cleaned and sanitized even if it's not empty. The owner is not here for the size of his wallet he is here for the size of your smile. I wasn't asked to post this but I wanted to express how great this place is and the wonderful people we employ.. unfotunalty I will only have a few more years left here before I move on, until then i will try my best to ensure you come back and bring your kids and eventually they well bring theres..
