Rockland Lake State Park

Wonderful place to enjoy nature and bird. No dogs/pets allowed (there are a lot of youngsters and birds/ducks) yet people still bring their dogs here, some off-leash so beware. Full loop is about 3 miles. Free parking right now and several bathrooms that are open. Trails are nicely maintained. And lots of birds!

I really like this pool and park. The only thing I don't like is that you're not allowed to bring in your own food and beverages except for water and if you leave the pool you can re-enter, but you have to stand in the line to get back in and the line can get ridiculous so you can get locked out trying to re-enter if the pool has reached capacity even though you've already paid and have previously been in which I feel is not fair. Even the park aside from the pool is nice. There is an area to buy food that's not too pricey and they sell other items as well, such as towels. There's quarter lockers for personal items. There are grassy areas where you can sit or lie down with blankets, benches to sit or concrete areas to sit with chairs that they do allow in. There's 2 slides and a 10 foot diving pool. The best part is that it's only $5 for adults to get in. I enjoy myself at this pool once I'm in despite all the strict rules.

I love this park. We have our annual bbq here. They have a pool but I’ve yet to try it out. The bathrooms are usually clean until towards the end of the day when all the pool goers come on in and wet the floor. No snack machine or stores around. I enjoy the view and sitting by the water. It’s a very relaxing place. A state park officers came by and played with the kids tug-of-war. That was so nice and the kids loved the attention.

You don't have to pay for parking in the winter. That's a plus. Walk around. The lake is highly recommended but be dressed for it in winter.

One of the best park I hade ever been. The nature with beauty,the easy access and enough parking (definitely with pay) are so convenient. Really appreciate there cleaning sense and highly recommended to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful park. Several parking lots. Paved trail along the lake that takes a bit over an hour, it's 3.2 miles long. Pool along the trail, Several public bathrooms as well. Pleasant shaded hike on a hot day. No pets allowed on the path

I love to go this park though because it’s really amazing place for Picnic, BBQ party. There’s lake right next to the park!! Absolutely beautiful lake view, breathtaking breeze coming and enjoyed the picnic a lot!!

Winter paradise! Perfect place for a safe, socially distanced fun day with the kids. Family and Stroller-friendly trail with breathtaking views on the lake and geese, swans peacefully swimming around.Pets are not allowed, so we didn't have to worry about letting the kids playing around. We went on a sunny Saturday after a snow fall and found immaculate, untouched fields of snow. We found a cute little hill for sledding. Beautiful place to make beautiful memories!

Beautiful park with a large lake, lots of picnic tables with bbq grills, playground, great for the family. You can bike around the lake. Path is fairly flat and covers a good area. You get to see lots of wild life. You can also bike along the Hudson south and it will connect to Nyack Beach State Park. Only there’s a very steep hill near the Rockland side but it was ok. We just got off and pushed our bikes. I plan on coming back in summer to check out their swimming pool.

Came here for a nice picnic and to enjoy the light snow.The park is huge and has many seating areas, a trail that loops the lake and numerous parking lots.
Beautiful area, I'm sure it's packed on summer days, but for winter lovers this can be a great spot for some snow quality time:)

Actually found this park as we were going elsewhere. Detoured when we saw the signs of state park so we could check it out. $10 to park. several different lots to choose from.
Wasn't crowded when we went there, but we didn't go on a hot summer day. I could imagine how crowded this place can get.
There were water slides, Sprinklers, walk in pool.
Picnic and bar b q areas. A large lake.
Making plans to go with our grandchildren and will give a better review with more pictures

It is a really beautiful Park, it has a closed space with a wooden path that takes you through a forest, it is perfect for walking, not many people enter this small place, otherwise it is perfect to spend a pleasant moment in nature, or enjoy the pool and the bbq space, I really recommend this place, because if you prefer solitary spaces you can find them, or also if you are looking for a space to be with more people.

This is a very well kept park with lovely views and paved paths for biking and walking. No pets are allowed on the bike paths. There are many picnic areas with bbq and coal disposal facilities. Also benches are placed in occasional clearings. A very easy walk. You can walk a long way without knowing it and it's safe for cyclists of all ages.

Very beautiful park. There is a pool and a lots of areas to have picnics. When we went, we dis not have to pay for parking. That is a plus. The queue for the pool is long. Hence, have patience. The walk around the park by the lake is also something to behold. I highly recommend this place.

We always enjoy ourselves when we go here. Some of the family members will go fishing 🎣 and some will 🚶‍♀ 🚶‍♂ walk the trails. But we definitely will cookout. This time someone caught a snapping turtle that thing was big.

A very peaceful, beautiful place to go to for a walk, bike ride, jog or run. There are picnic tables so you can just bring food food and enjoy the gorgeous scenery with your family. The $10 fee per vehicle is not bad, but hope was was a little less but it's definitely not a deal breaker.

Blake is a beautiful park that is very convenient with multiple parking lots and a walking path that is 5 kmeters or 3.1 miles. It is good for running walking rollerblading or biking. I have had picnics here in the past and overall it is a wonderful place. They updated the swimming pools with slides but I have never gone swimming here.

Live this pool. Picnic area and bbq, tables and benches are comfortable for a great bbq. Teails in park are a great place for walking. Pool area for all ages and divining board. Children love the water slides.
