Meet some friends here for the Peacock playoff game and had a great time. Started with the loaded tots, and then I had the Riv Burger, which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. They offer she great drink options, including an excellent spiked root beer! There are tons of daily food specials on the menu, and some great daily specials like 1/2 off burgers! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They do have live music as well, which definitely made watching the Dolphins dismal play easier to watch... Overall, we all had a great time and is definitely a place I'll be back to!! I'm looking forward to trying the chicken francese dip - it looked amazing!

I've been coming to NJ for 17 years to visit family and friends. I've never been here before and now I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be! The food is amazing. The service was top notch! It took some patience on our part but it was slammed, waitresses were running, literally. I can wait over and over for this place.

My husband and I have been there a couple of times and enjoyed it. My son lives in Texas and came home unexpectedly for a few days and wanted to go out to dinner as a family. I called on Monday 3/11 and spoke to Monica about getting a table for 9 the next night around 6pm. I figured a Tuesday night would be pretty quiet. I didn’t know Tuesdays were customer appreciation nights and 1/2 off entrees. She said they would be busy but could absolutely accommodate us and just call ahead an hour on Tuesday. So on Tuesday my husband calls and talks to Justin, tells him the situation, no problem. We get there at 5:50. It is packed, we had to park on the street and walk because there was no parking. I’m beginning to think this is a huge mistake. Justin greets us and takes us to our table(we are still waiting for half of our party). Gets us drinks, explains the menu and specials and is so accommodating! The rest of our party arrives and even though it was extremely busy he took the time to explain everything again to the newcomers. Took our orders, accommodated special requests, kept checking in to make sure everything was good. Could not have asked for a better experience or a better server! Thank you Justin! Great atmosphere and some of the best food we have had at a bar recently! Service was also great, and the daily specials are something that you should definitely look for.

Still a perfect spot to watch games/fights. Keep a eye on their social media because Rivs Hub has started hosting meet/greets with UFC fighters. Food is still spot on and their daily deals are still something you should check out

Been here a few time when The Tramp and Champ have their show. They love my son and that love spread to the owner. My son is going through so many health issues and this man who never met my son gave him two signed fighters gloves. The look on his face. I don't know the owners name, but Id love to go back and shake his hand.

Went to Rivs for the first time in a long time, we had an unbelievable time watching a band named Rock Bottom, great food, great service, great time, we needed this night out so bad!

Easily one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Cheese steaks and the skillet meatballs with garlic bread were awesome. Live music, great service and great prices. I love it.

We went to Rivs a few years ago and the kids still rave about the “cheesy action” of their huge mozzarella sticks. All of the food was excellent. We look forward to bringing the family back this year.

Enjoyed a short visit. Had a few drinks and apptz. I loved the mozzarella sticks. Beers were cold and good. Nice place with lots of aports on all the TVs.

5 Star for sure, the food was very tasty our drinks so so good blue sangria,our waitress Paige was helpful and fun to talk to. The entertainment Polish Nannies band had people dancing all night!!!!!!

We enjoy eating at Riv's. It's a casual bar atmosphere with very good food. There's many food and drink specials. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach My husband had a pasta dish with chicken and our friend had the combination sea food platter. All are meals were cooked to perfection..

Band was great. Food was awesome. Drinks were wonderful. Family dinner was supper and I saw Ed.👍😊

Easily to find on Hooper Av. Clean, friendly staff always saying hello or welcome. Family owned and operated, excellent happy hour many meal deals as example, 5 dollars for a cup of homemade tomato soup, my dad says it's like his mother's, and comes with a grilled cheese sandwich., plus others to numerous to mention. If you have hungry kids/teens, you can't beat the value and portions you get. Very fair value. I stumbled in about 2yrs ago and love the place. Recommend highly.

I had the Sunday sauce and my wife had the eggplant Parmesan. Both meals were delicious. There was so much food, that we were able to take food home and had a second meal the next day. We had Andrew as our waiter and he was friendly and very welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience.

Wednesday night 4 course dinner $24 and everything was absolutely delicious and portions are perfect, at that price point don’t cook see the best server they have Paige she is awesome!!!!

You couldn't find a more critical person than myself when it comes going to restaurants. I was in the business for many years. So many disappointments time and time again. I've been coming here for the last 2 years . Professional courteous efficient reasonable outstanding service. Normally go daytime hours the great lunch specials and tap beer can a chilled glass for $2. You cannot and will not find a better restaurant and bar then rivs. Elise, Monica and her husband Jay along with a couple of others that I don't recall their names are awesome love this place. Half-price menu on Tuesday for a customer appreciation. Are you kidding me who does that. For that I am very very grateful and appreciative
