My favorite place for pastries/brunch/coffee. Lattes are second best in Indy in my opinion (second to Milktooth ) , but I rank this place overall higher than Milktooth based off of service and atmosphere. Staff is friendly, I never get a feeling of being snubbed, food is great- I had a short rib burrito- great flavor with a dill aioli- and a demara spice latte. Ive tried butterscotch and pistachio lattes, always consistently great tasting. The fact that they use dandy breeze milk (jersey cows) makes for great milk texture in drinks.

Definitely a place to get espresso based drinks or drip coffee no option for pour overs.

Pastries are typically tasty and creative. Its fun to see what they put together.

The only downside of my visit was our coffee was served in to-go cups and not in glass or ceramic.

Some times they do table service, sometimes its counter service- not sure if table service is just on weekends with an expanded menu.

I've been wanting to come here for years -- but hadn't had a chance until today.
Super excited about the menu, and all of the vegan options! The staff was very friendly, and were very careful about my husband's egg allergy.
He ordered a vegan lime donut: when he bit into it he raved about the texture and gave it a 8/10
He also ordered the Italian hero sandwich and said 10/10 best sandwich he has had in america-- with vegan mayo too!
The drinks we got were both excellent 👌 10/10 for both the golden milk late and also the spiced Demerara steamer.
Cannot recommend them enough. The barista actually took lemon peel, ran it over flame, and then squeezed it over the top 😍🤯
I asked the cashier to just pick a baked good for me to try-- she selected the croissant basket that had a blueberries and a lemon pastry cream 9/10 very good

My husband has declared this is our new favorite place 😅

Best vegan donut I have had is the coconut lime.
Their golden milk didn't just taste like milk with syrup but thoroughly spiced.
Very allergy conscious.

My absolute favorite new American place. Correct vibe, great staff, just a win.

Visited on a Sunday. The parking lot is small and shared with another business but I was easily able to find street parking so there wasn't an issue.

I was seated almost immediately and greeted by my server shortly after. This is a cozy spot and I love the retro decor.

I tried the oat milk ginger latte and it was uniquely delicious. Not too sweet not too overpowering. I also got the miso grits with mushrooms and vegan cinnamon donuts. The grits were amazing and hearty, made me sweat from the heat but were worth the burn. The donut was the perfect amount of sweetness and had a nice fluffy texture. I also tries their drip coffee black and it was a delicious way to end my meal.

Upon leaving I decided to grab my family some pastries and was pleasantly surprised at all the vegan options they had for me! I can't wait to go back and try more. I also got my first golden milk latte also didn't disappoint. I drove a little over an hour and it was worth the drive. Will definitely be returning sooner rather than later!

Every time I come in here I think "man, I want more tattoos and vintage t-shirts so I can look nearly as cool as the staff."

But ANYWAY Landlocked is my go-to for brunch. Always yummy pastries (honey sea salt twist!) and brunch items (the jalapeno jelly on the breakfast biscuit!). Delicious lattes and coffees, especially the seasonal drinks that come in every once in a while! And a really lovely atmosphere, always great music playing!

Plus, it's walkable from my apartment and one of the reasons I love living in Irvington.

Fantastic vegan doughnuts!!! Delightful vegan chocolate chip cookie!! The avocado toast is a work of art for eyes and for the nose and for the mouth. I am very excited to try the cinnamon rolls next. Glad I don't live nearby or else I'd be here multiple times a day!

We got two breakfast burritos, a butterscotch latte, a cinnamon roll, their vegan vanilla cake, and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious except for the cookie. Unfortunately it had huge salt crystals on the top and it made the cookie way too salty. Some people might like that, but it just wasn’t for us, and that’s ok! But we would definitely recommend everything else!

The lighting was terrible for these photos. But you know what wasn't? The food. It was all delicious. We went to @landlockedbakingco for brunch. We have had their coffee and pastries before but they recently expanded and serve brunch now.
We had the Gorgonza Grits and the Peaches N Cream Brûléed french toast (the french toast is just a special for this week). To drink we had a regular oatmilk latte and an iced horchata latte.we also got a classic croissant (not pictured). We love this east side gem.

This was a surprisingly quiet place on a Monday morning. The selection of baked delicacies was phenomenal. The vanilla latte was OK. A little too sweet. This was a wonderful place to hang out for conversation and a snack!

Landlocked has the best vegan donuts around!! their vegan BLT is also quite nice- definitely a little messy and hard to eat. sometimes the baristas can be a little unfriendly but most everyone that works here is super nice

A must-visit for anyone exploring Indy’s coffee shops or Irvington! The atmosphere in this venue is both modern and vintage with a touch of 70’s vibe (but the good kind). The fare is unique and the customer service unparalleled! My hat’s off to Neil who extended extra care with my order. You know what you did, Neil! 👍🏻

YES. The coffees/lattes are nothing short of amazing, and their big selection of pastries and baked goods are absolutely delicious. If you love Provider Coffee and Coat Check Coffee, you’ll fit in at Landlocked (same ownership). They sell out fast of their baked goods on weekends, so stop in early to try some of this deliciousness!

We are so lucky to have Landlocked in our little town! I've tried various things from their bakery, and I've loved everything I had (and I've heard my friends say things like, "This is literally the best donut I've ever had."). Their Chai Tea is one of the best I've ever had, and they do a fancy little thing with a lemon to enhance the flavor. My husband loves their butterscotch latte. My dogs love their pup cups. Lol

My only wish for them is to get public access wifi (and maybe they have since I've been in there?) because I think people would stay and drink more if they did! I wanted to host a couple of meetings there but couldn't because there wasn't wifi. But these are infrequent and wouldn't deter me from meeting a friend there.

Best coffee I've had in months🤎🤎🤎 Got an oatmilk latte with cardamom and a vegan horchata donut. They were SO good together! The donuts are perfect, not overly sweet.

We’re regulars here and it’s always the first place we bring visitors to. The vibes are always great, and this is the best avocado toast I’ve found in Indy!

Excellent technical skills & a penchant for creative combinations (Bombay babka, everything croissant) that work beautifully! The skills on display in the baked goods marry well with the coffee program (Certain Feelings is the roaster, though they are in the same family). There are many places in the city to try their food and drink, but the Landlocked location is the only place you can do it in midcentury-wood & wicker-meets-tiki bar in pastel pink & green surrounds. Like the flavors on display, that might sound weird - but also like the flavors, they make it work *really well*.

I have visited this little shop multiple times and every time I have loved it. The donuts are great, the focaccia is mouthwatering and the coffee is good as well! Even my non vegan family members love the donuts and cookies saying it tastes like the dairy kind! If you are ever thinking about visiting, do it! I'm positive that you won't be disappointed!

We live dangerously close to Landlocked and go at least once a week for lattes. Lately it has been more like twice a week...we can hardly resist when we walk by! The Spiced Demerara (seasonal fall/winter) and Butterscotch lattes are seriously the best lattes we have ever had. Every time. And the croissants are absolutely delicious.

Awesome vibe. Great coffee. Baked goods looked and smelled amazing. I ordered an iced coffee and got it made, by hand, in less than a minute. Amazing! Plan to return.

Always lovely, cozy space, excellent drinks. I come here regularly and am grateful to have it in the neighborhood. The pastries I've tried have always been good as well.
