The Goddard School of Avon

I cannot say enough great things about Goddard in Avon! My son is currently in the turtles classroom and has been attending Goddard since January of 2023 and we absolutely love it!

His teachers Ms. Kaitlyn and Ms. Amber are amazing! They are very kind, attentive and caring towards all the kiddos. Even the other teachers in different classrooms know my son by his first name. Not only are the teachers hands on with learning and teaching my son, but the owners, Robert and Eileen are hands on as well and on site every day. They are wonderful at leading the school and take not only my son’s welfare seriously but the welfare of every child that attends Goddard.

I love that the school has different learning curriculums each day for the kiddos. My son has tremendously improved in his learning with not only all things preschool, but specifically in his communication and speech/language skills. When he started at Goddard in January of last year, my son was only speaking a couple words at a time and had a vocabulary of around 50 words. He is now speaking in sentences and his vocabulary is well over 200 words!

Goddard also offers different activities at the school that parents have the choice to enroll their kids in such as Crouching Tigers martial arts and Soccer Shots just to name a couple. My son has enjoyed his Crouching Tigers class since May of last year! He has learned many different martial arts moves and can also count to 10 in Japanese!

I have been extremely happy with our experience at Goddard in Avon and could not imagine my son going to school anywhere else. He is so excited each morning to go to school and see his friends and teachers! I know that when I drop my son off at school he will be safe and well-cared for. Those are the most important things to me as a parent and I wouldn’t have him anywhere else. If you are in need of childcare and have not checked out this awesome school, I would definitely do so now!

My daughter has THRIVED at Goddard! The staff and teachers are amazing and so helpful. I love that Goddard has companies come in to show and educate about animals, do fun things like getting snow cones or ice cream, and have activities the kids can be signed up for like soccer! My daughter truly loves going to school at Goddard and our entire household is going to miss them when she ages out for Kindergarten.

My wife and I are very happy with the treatment our son Thiago receives in this place. We are very grateful to all the staff, especially the director Robert and the teacher Jennifer who have been very patient not only with our baby who is adapting but also with us who, despite not being 100% fluent in the language, have treated us Very kindly, being first-time parents, it has been a little difficult for us to detach ourselves from our baby. Despite having little time, Thiago is more talkative at home and is more interactive with other children, we feel that little by little he is showing greater growth. Thank you very much to all the people of this great place.

By far the best educational experience you will receive for your child to prepare for kindergarten. Very clean. Very friendly and approachable teachers. Fun extracurricular activities.

Great daycare!
Our older son started at 3yr old and our youngest started at 1. Wonderful owners, teachers, staff. Love especially the emphasis on good/healthy foods and play based learning.

The Goddard School is 100% dedicated to the child!! The staff is professional, approachable, addresses the child directly, listens to concerns, ensures a safe learning environment, and provides a creative exciting learning environment. I am thankful my little girl attended the Goddard School for two years prior to starting Kindergarten as this will definitely give her a solid start with initial learning/skill sets. The graduation ceremony was absolutely breath-taking and all happy! I commend the entire staff at Goddard for sincerely caring and attending to each child's individual physical and emotional well-being. Well done!!! My daughter already misses her teachers and other staff members even including the kitchen crew. Again, a tremendous thank you to the entire staff at the Goddard School.

The Goddard School in Avon has exceeded our expectations in every way and we feel fortunate that our son and daughter were able to begin their "formal education" here. Being first time parents comes with a lot of worry and fear but we knew that selecting The Goddard School would help ease some of that. We wanted a safe, educational place for our children to grow and develop. The environment is energetic, fun and nurturing and each teacher ensures that our children are made to feel special. The teachers are great role models and truly display a passion for teaching. The owner and directors are very present and enthusiastic leaders. It is obvious their priority is providing the best educational childcare for our children. Everyone, all teachers, the cook, directors, owner all have a genuine concern about the well-being of our children and that means the world to us. We truly feel that they are an extension of or family and we know while they are at school that they are happy, safe and well cared for!

For the last six years, we have enrolled our children in the Goddard School - Avon. Over the years, we have watched our children grow and flourish under Goddard's daily care. With our first child, we had no idea how to begin potty training. The staff at Goddard walked us through the process and helped us every step of the way, even giving us "homework" to do on the weekends. And it worked wonderfully! When our son began kindergarten, we were nervous about the transition because he was the youngest in his class. We were worried he would not be prepared for the work. But the teachers at Goddard prepared him so well that he actually moved into the most advanced reading and math groups shortly after starting kindergarten. He is now in second grade and continues to be one of the best students in his class.

Our second child had a food allergy that developed later in his second year. The Goddard staff worked with us to address the allergy and take precautions to make sure that our son was accommodated during meal and snack times. Just as with our first son, we can already see so much progress with our second son's learning. The curriculum at Goddard is second to none.

We now are moving away and have struggled to find a daycare center that has made us feel as secure and our children as cared for as Robert and his staff have at Goddard. If you are looking for a childcare facility near Avon, I cannot recommend the Goddard School enough! Robert and his staff have made us feel at home there, and we will miss them dearly when we go!

Our son has been in the Avon Goddard school since he was an infant. I'm including my parting letter to them as my review:

Thank you so much for all the wonderful years you have given to our son. It has been comforting to know he is safe, secure and loved when I can’t be with him. I appreciate all the academic, social and emotional education that each of you shared with our son. You have all helped to make him into the person that he is today! The teachers and staff have made us feel comfortable since the moment we walked in the door with just an inquiry. Our daughter had a tough transition, but everyone did everything possible to make it easier for her and my husband and I. Now that she enjoys going to school, if ever we have questions or concerns they are addressed immediately. And the only concern we’ve ever had is around our daughters eating. And that’s through no fault of the school. She’s picky. The school is also incredibly clean. Our daughter has only been sick 1 time since she’s started attending Goddard in Avon (she’s been there for about 7-8 months). I’ve had my other kids in other daycare facilities and they were always sick with a cold or runny nose or something worse. Our daughter is thriving in that environment! Thank you!!

My daughters, ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 have attended The Goddard School in Avon since they were 8 weeks old. They enjoy going to school and have learned so much in their time there...they are certainly ahead of the curve! Not only are they learning and growing, they are having a blast while doing so...they love singing songs, playing dress up and doing art. I couldn't be happier with the head start my children are getting by attending The Goddard School. Also, the teachers have been great with my girls and the office staff are very helpful and involved.

The Goddard School of Avon, IN is one of a kind! Robert and his team are so passionate and nurturing when it comes to the kids they care for. There is no better feeling than safety and security when choosing where/who will care for your child when you require assistance.

Our Goddard experience we have has been absolutely AMAZING and we feel so good about taking our daughter there. Now that we are moving from Avon, we will definitely miss that. The Goddard School has been such a blessing for our family!!

For more than 10 years between our first and last child, Robert and his team have continued to provide high quality programming and fun for my daughters. They encourage curiosity while giving them a solid foundation for kindergarten and beyond. They are transparent when things happen and always have the kid’s best interest at the forefront. We love Avon Goddard and would and do recommend them to anyone looking.

Our son attended The Goddard School in Avon from the time he was 2 years old up until he went to kindergarten. I cannot say enough about how much he learned while attending. He was very prepared and well ahead of a lot of the kids in his kindergarten class. He was also diagnosed with Type I Diabetes during his time at Goddard and everyone went above and beyond to see that he was taken care of and making sure their staff as trained to take care of him. We always had peace of mind that he was being taken care of. Thank you so much to everyone at The Goddard School of Avon!!!

They are so caring when it comes to the overall child! My son loves getting to see and experience new things and without Goddard that wouldn't be possible. Magic shows are one of his personal favorites! He also tells me all about the garden and fire drills. Which might seem mundane but it means they are trained for emergencies and my son gets to see how vegetables are made. He learns how to interact with his peers through positive reinforcement! He always has something to tell me on our way home and when I drop him off to go to work. I have peace of mind that he is not just safe but enjoying himself and learning to love learning! The teachers are always there to talk to me about issues that arise and offer a supportive circle to help raise my child!.

We have so many wonderful things to say about our son's classroom teachers and the adults who come in contact with him every day. The curriculum is hands-on, engaging, and relevant. The school offers a variety guest speakers/ special programs every month. Additionally, the communication between school and home is excellent. We couldn't be happier with The Goddard School in Avon.

The Goddard School in Avon is fantastic. The staff is super friendly, the facility is clean, and--most importantly, to me--my child was always excited to go to school every morning. You won't find friendlier teachers anywhere else. Thanks, Goddard!

We have been sooo very pleased with Goddard!!! They have been amazing. It's such a nice feeling to see my children hug on the teachers and staff. My twins are 19 months old and have been in the program since they were a year. Since then they've learned a ton. I'm a mom, not a teacher, so it's nice to see them learn things that they may not learn while at home. They know what "school" means and when I tell them they are going, they get very excited. Everything is so engaging and interactive. They really teach them, it's not just daycare. My husband and I are often blown away when they push their chair in when they're done eating, put their trash away, use sign language, and so on. And it's not just my children's teachers who know them, it's everyone. From the director, to the owner, to even other teachers. It's a really nice feeling knowing that I'm dropping them off there. Kudos!

I am always impressed with how well my daughter is engaged during her time at Goddard. Her vocabulary and sign language use are improving as well as her motor skill development and social skills. Her teachers keep me in the loop with what is going on with her and I am very satisfied having her at Goddard. I am always confident she is well taken care of.

I am very pleased with how my children are treated and loved at the Goddard School. I am happy with the way the classroom is managed. Ms. Nighat does a fantastic job of managing her classroom. Anytime I walk into my child's classroom, everything is peaceful and primed for learning. My daughter has learned a great deal in Ms. Nighat's classroom and I appreciate everything Ms. Nighat and Ms. Alaura do for my daughter.

I am also grateful for the smooth transition that my son has went through while starting in his new classroom. I feel like Ms. Vanessa is doing a great job with the kids.

I also am happy with the many special guests and programs that Goddard provides on a regular basis.
