Central Ace Hardware

We went in to Ace today because I could not get a screw out of a part of my wheelchair that needed fixed. We walked in the door and immediately Mark asked us if we needed any help. He was unable to get the screw out with a screwdriver and so he took it and used a drill and remove the screw. He then offered to put the new piece on and put the screws back in. Putting the new piece on became a little bit more challenging as it did not just slide on. He did not give up and took the time to figure out how to get the piece in there. He then put the screws back in and made sure that we had it on the correct direction so that it was done right. He was very very friendly and very helpful to me and my staff. He worked well with the other employees when he had some struggles trying to figure out why it was not working. And he did not make me feel silly for not being able to do it at home.

I love this cozy store - it's in the old Arlington Theater where as a child I went with my sister and mother to watch dozens of movies back in the 1950's and 1960's. The store is in a good location and everyone in there are helpful and nice. I hope it never closes. I'm in there at least once a week.

It is very nice having a local hardware store. Like most ACE locations I've been to, this one feels like stepping back in time a couple decades in a good way. Not just the lack of big box bells and whistles, but a level of customer service that has almost disappeared most places. I just needed a couple nuts and a young man stopped me at the door, took my bolt, and found exactly what I needed with a smile on his face. A very positive experience.

I really don't know much about hardware, which is why this place is great. I can take a screw or bolt, walk in, hand it to them, and they get me what I need. In and out in 5 minutes or less! Make sure to check out the Halloween festival artwork.

Last week I was looking for a wheelbarrow advertised at Ace. All the stores in my area were out of stock, so I had to drive 30 minutes to the Central Ace Hardware. When I went to put the wheelbarrow in my car, it would not fit. But the sales associates, Edward and Gary were extremely helpful! They spent 15 or 20 minutes helping me get it positioned, and gave me a bungee cord to strap down the trunk lid. Excellent customer service! It was definitely worth the one hour round trip to shop at Central Ace Hardware!

Great local hardware store! There's not much else in the area for hardware, and I love popping in here rather than driving out to a box store in the suburbs. They've always got what I'm looking for, and there's always ample in-store help to find it. Also make sure you join the rewards club, I've saved lots of money with their coupons and offers. Keep up the good work!

There was a young man that helped me with some set screws. I called them Allen screws but he helped me and he was so cordial and so great. The cashier have had the long fingernails they were beautiful and her eyelashes were awesome she was so sweet to me you got a good crew there and you should be proud

The store was well stocked, and the employees were friendly and helpful.

I drove about 15 minutes to this locations to get a four prong stove receptacle. I highly recommend this place soon as you walk in and had customer service and says you walk in at the door which is great if you’re coming in to look for one item specifically. Of course do not come here for Building Projects like a load of two by fours or plywood because they will not have it like that and it will be very pricey at Ace Hardware of course

The staff is so very helpful each staff member has a lot of knowledge in just about every different area . They have everything that you can think of or need . & You are also supporting a long time local Business .

Parking was a bit different than I was expecting, but I'm definitely glad they had signs pointing to where the entrance was. Extremely happy with the customer service I received as soon as I walked in! Everything was easy to find, and when I was having small issues finding the things not labeled by an over head sign an employee immediately noticed that I was having issues and helped right away! 10/10 would recommend this store to anyone and everyone! Can't wait to come back!

I needed a window pane installed into the frame I hadn't measured it Ace measured it took out the glass and took a device to get the old caulking out installed and I got a few keys made the staff was polite and educational they made my Saturday a win-win
