Hilltop Tavern

Was greeted by Krista right away. Had their breadsticks which were deep fried which made them crispy but the sauces were cold so it wasn’t for me personally. Then I had their double dipped wings. They were amazing!! Deff will be back for them. Bill was not too high either.

The Hilltop is one of those places that will surprise you. A "local watering hole" that you wouldn't think was any different from most other taverns. But it is a gem. Open from 0700 til 0400, yeah that's right; open 20 hours a day. The place offers pleasant seating, indoors and out along with good food. Breakfast is all hours. Sandwichs and pizza too. The pizzas are not what I'd expected, party cut, thick and filling. Very, very good. Beer and wine. Hilltop also has live music on schedule. Local musicians of course. We're looking forward to sitting on the patio and having a few this spring. Nice vibe. Not too crowded.

Found this gem of a spot by the luck of searching Google maps for a place to get a couple beers and breakfast at 9:15 am on a Sunday!! Wow did it deliver! Was only there about 2 hours and really wished I could have stayed longer. That's how much fun I was having. The bartender was awesome. Really enjoyed conversing with a few of the locals. The music was loud and on point and played nonstop the entire visit. Glad I found this spot and I'll be returning again soon!!

Great burger and wonderful service and conversation. No beer on tap. Not a problem for me but you should know if you want beer on tap.

The food is very good.. never yet had anything bad.. price is good as well..

Fresh food, made to order! All condiments and silverware was already in the bag without having to ask for it! Curbside service too!! Cant beat a good local spot for dinner!

The band tonight was so good . Gotta find out if & when they will be back . But pizza & house salad great pizza for awesome price

2/12/24 Friday night open band is pretty decent. Better than slippery noodle. Food is still very good for bar food.

Always had good service and good drinks in here. It's never been my home bar, but never had any issues with the people or the place.
**Update 5/19/22 still good. Crowds are still about the same. It has become my home bar on the Eastside.

The pizza and wings are so yummy. It is definitely a neighborhood bar..very casual. They do have live music just not sure of the schedule. Pool tables and darts.

This is a well loved establishment on the Eastside. New people come to try the menu all on word of mouth! Phenomenal breakfast & lunch choices!!! The price for food in comparison to what you get Amazing!

Meat lovers personal size pizza and double dipped wings. Their pizza comes from a pizza oven. Both were great.

I always get the cheeseburgers when I go in there. They're excellent, I haven't found one better since I've been going out to eat anywhere. The ladies there are excellent, very very polite, and the atmosphere is not bad when you're in there at lunch. Don't really know too much about any other times. If you're looking for a good hamburger or cheeseburger I suggest give it a try. I've had their pizzas and they're not bad either.

The atmosphere in this place is absolutely wonderful!!! Their staff is very friendly & helpful, especially the bartender! I ordered a burger & tatter tots - and onion rings to split with my friend. The food was sooo freakin' good!!! We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!

Nice place to relax and have a few beers. Everyone is super friendly and the prices are great. Cash only though so make sure to stop at the ATM.

Got to hear Taylor Hernly here. He was fabulous! Love the fantastic mix of patrons: old, young, blue collar, business, black, white, pool players, and music lovers. Everyone gets along, its a welcoming place with a chill vibe.

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and bread sticks for pickup and didn't realize it was cash only, there's an ATM but I recently switched banks and my cards weren't working. They let me take the food home so it wouldn't get cold and said I could come back later after eating to pay! Dropped the meal off for my family and came back with cash right away to pay. Feel like not too many places would do that for a random, first time customer. Very kind, and the pizza and bread sticks we're fantastic.

Will be back often—this time with cash in hand.
