Great for Renaissance festival. Nice that it's in town and has parking, though many vendors come from out of town. The kettle corn from Saturday market is amazing and vegan. There are some vendors mislabeling products as vegan that contain honey, so be careful! We learned more about things in the community, saw some cool art, and found out about Saturday LARPing too

Nice park with many play structures for all different ages. I even saw teenagers playing and having fun. There's a pond where you can fish or sit and feel the ducks. Also, they have bathrooms!!

I come every year for the renaissance fair and I love it! The park is super big and clean! It had nice restrooms and plenty of places to sit. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is just perfect!

Tons of parking. The play area adjacent to the parking lot is excellent for kids 2-whatever.

Tons of green grass, big lake, a few different play areas.

When we dropped by there was a small wedding happening in the main Ramada and a retirement party in another area.

Great spot for kids

A beautiful green space for Las Cruces :) There are several play structures for children across the park, a pond with water fowl, and tennis courts.

I've been visiting this park for twenty five years and it just gets better and better every year. I fell in love at this place and ten years later my partner and I still visit this park both summer and winter and we're still going strong. The Renaissance Fair is held annually there and it's always wonderful and memorable

It's a great park, lots of space, the pond with ducks, turtles, and stocked with fish. You would have to look at the NM game and fish fish stalking reports to find out what and when the last time the pond was stocked last.
I don't recommend hanging out after 8 pm. we fished until dusk recently, and all the area floods it, you have children running around, mostly unattended, teens being young and dumb in the parking lot, girls walking around wearing clubbing out fits talking about drugs. Hey, if that's your crowd, that's where they hang out on Friday nights after dark it's not for me.

A large and lovely park with a rather large fishing lake and ducks!! Multiple play areas for the kids and wide spaces for team games or great afternoon picnics. And the restrooms remain clean throughout the day.

We loved this spot. The trees, ducks, places for my little baby to play. If we go back to Las Cruces we'll definitely visit here again.

I think this is the largest family picnic-like park in Las Cruces. There is a pond here, playground equipment, grass and trees. This is where a lot of history happened! Many groups have met here, including Voz Vaqueros for their Easter Sunrise singing. Just last week there was a carshow. It's a lovely park, the kind like they have back East. The grassy areas let kids run and play in a way they usually can't in the desert.

Young Park is a pretty park with a duck pond. Dogs are allowed to walk there. Nice playground but the bathrooms were locked up.
