Jose's Blue Sombrero - Fox Point

Holy Guacamole! Would recommend going for the table side guacamole. Food was good fresh and reheated it was actually even better . Good eats.

I don't get to see my parents as much as I used to due to distance, and the staff at Jose's made our lunch memorable and special for celebrating my mom's birthday. Our waitress was so nice and happened to find out about her birthday when we were finishing up our fantastic 1/2 gallon mango margarita (highly recommended!). She quickly went in back and reappeared with 2 more staff members with maracas, complete with a dessert (which my mom said was delicious!) and sombrero! They sang Happy Birthday to her and she got to blow out her birthday candle. It really did put a smile on all of our faces!

We all really enjoyed our meals--I had the portabella and steak quesadilla. The steak was flavorful, and they used fresh mushrooms! The beans were the best refried beans I've ever had, which says a lot because I normally don't give them much thought.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on some of the negative reviews, but they far exceeded my expectations! With all of the awful things going on in the world and influx of rude people, I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the kindness shown by Jose's staff and our waitress for going above and beyond.

Picked up takeout earlier today. LOVED the food. Our favorite was the chorizo-bacon-chicken.

Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was really great. Chips were warm and salsa was good. Mole burrito is always tops.

This is our go-to local restaurant for amazingly tasty food and good service. We have never been disappointed coming here! Make sure to get the homemade guacamole.

I had a Surf & Turf Burrito, which was amazing. Friendly and courteous staff.

Surf & turf burrito is my favorite. The rice is amazing. Mexi papas are also really good. They can be spicy so if you don't like spicy,, order it without jalapeños. The bacon chorizo tacos are also really good. The dreamcicle margaritas are with a try. Tableside guacamole is really good. The kids chicken tenders and fries are also really good and kid approved. The salsa here isn't my favorite.

One of the areas favorite family owned Mexican restaurants. Great customer service, outstanding cuisine.

TABLESIDE GUAC!!!!!! If you try nothing else, get this, it was made to perfection, best guac I've had, margaritas were delicious and strong, my tacos were on point as well, definitely worth stopping for

Our server (Isreal?) was fantastic. He knew what we wanted before we did. Table side guacamole was great along with the main course and margaritas. My wife says it's her favorite Mexican restaurant in the area now. Definitely in my top 3...

Absolutely love this place!!! Great service, amazing food, good prices, friendly staff. The Chicken with Jalapeño Cream Sauce is AMAZING!!!! Everything they have is Amazing but my new favorite is definitely that one.

This place was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed at all! The molcajete dish was way bigger than expected and very good lol. The service was phenomenal. Great conversation with the bartender and over staff was very friendly, attentive and genuine. I left smiling from ear to ear!

The food was amazing. They were definitely understaffed, so the service was a bit slow, but it was totally understandable. Our waiter handled himself very well and did a great job, and most importantly, as a customer, the staffing shortage didn't affect the quality of the food. Definitely will be going back in the future.

The Strawberry Margaritas go down fast and smooth.
Great selection of entrees. I prefer the enchiladas.
Try out JBS. Just not on Sunday. They are closed.

One of my favorite joints since moving last year. We used their catering services for a backyard wedding reception. Blue Sombrero outdid themselves. Very kind staff, quick set up and take down, and outstanding food! We had so many guests compliment the food. We really appreciated the great communication during the months of planning. Definitely recommend both the restaurant and catering services! Very flexible with what we wanted. Appreciated how the services included disposable plates and plastic wear and their own tables for set up….one less thing for us to worry about! Thank you!

Francesca was our waitress tonight, and she was a very good waitress. I highly recommend blue Sombrero and Francesca as your waitress. She’s a good friend of mine.

First time visit to Jose's was great! The chimichanga was huge, and the enchiladas were some of the best we've had. Complimentary chips with tasty salsa, excellent friendly service... We will definitely go back!
