Went here for the Donut. It was cool seeing it being made in real time. The donut is more cake-y donut, not yeast. It was good though. The donuts are relatively small, but tastes great when warm. Do grab something to drink since the donut makes your throat bit dry.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill is not just a place for apple cider, cider donuts, Vermont-themed snacks and treats - they actually have a full cider tasting room, bar, and sandwich shop! Cold Hollow Cider Mill showcases all their hard cider and other specialty drinks here at The Barn, and there are tasting sessions available to be a part of! They have a great selection of sandwiches and other food featuring specialty Vermont ingredients like a lot of apple cider-flavored spreads, meats, and more! I really do think this is a bit of a hidden gem - everyone parks in front of Cold Hollow and goes inside the main mill building, and many people forget this other building is even here. If you made it all the way to Waterbury, might as well walk across the parking lot to check out another great place! I really love the whole Cold Hollow Cider Mill complex! 😊

I am a fan of hard ciders and Vermont has a great selection. We were glad to find a place to have lunch on New Year’s Day. My husband and I had the roast beef Florentine; the beef melted in our mouth with the caramelized onions. The flights are reasonably priced and worth trying all ciders on tap. Head across to the retail shop for a fresh dozen of cider donuts. The staff are friendly and helpful when making cider selections.

This is my favorite lunch place in Stowe! Get Vermonter to the Core panini or turkey rueben and hard sider flight of Grateful Sled, Soul Shifter, and others. I would say that Grateful Sled and Soul Shifter are two best ones they have. I love Vermonter! My husband and two sons love turkey rueben. And then go and get HOT donuts and also get their small bottle apple cider to go.

Roast beef sandwich was tasty! Nice stop to rest and eat in Vermont. Lotsa outdoor seating with a local market and gift shop just across.

We like to come here for their breakfast sandwiches, served from opening until 10:30am. They're probably the best in the area, and I've often overhear people at other tables saying the same thing. The option for the homemade cheddar biscuit is a must.

Their breakfast sandwiches are a must try. I got mine in the homemade biscuits and it was delicious. Located right by cold hollow cider mill so you can go there as well. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is great and I loved their interior, also lots of outside seating

Food was great, staff were friendly, atmosphere was very low key, comfortable, and welcoming. First time here and definitely will go back. Had the pulled pork crepe and it was delicious! They have QR code on the tables where you can order from or at the counter. One of the items was out of stock so I went to the counter to order and asked about the K-pop crepe. It was the batter they didn't have and offered an alternative to the batter but decided to go with the pulled pork. 5/5 would recommend

What is visit to the Waterbury area without a stop at the Cold Hollow Cider Mille for some lunch, cider and seeing the bees !

You can rest assured that the food here is top notch, made to order and served with a smile - such a fun relazing place to be - especially when it is not slammed with Tourist Buses !

All four of us are so happy we stopped! Great experience eating outside and getting to taste the cider and watch the making process for free at the shop next door. The people are sooo nice. 100 recommend!

This was the only place open during lunchtime. I ordered the chicken pesto and blt sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious but the pesto takes the win. They have freshly homemade bread here like sweet potato flavored. The ciders that have fruit in them is nice and sweet. Total bill for a flight of four cidars and food was $24. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Fast quick customer service and its extremely organized. They also have other businesses in the same lot to try out cider donuts and other tasting. Definitely check out if u r in town. Huge free surface parking lot available.

Went in to free taste the Vermont cider and try the cider donuts, it was nice but that's it. The attached shop was great though for all kinds of nice local gifts and souvenirs.

Driving up to Stowe from Massachusetts and the collective stomachs in the car started to all rumble at the same time so we decided to pull into the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and had lunch at the Apple Core Luncheonette and Brew. This great little shop features flights of hard ciders, an amazing lunch menu and some options to leave with, as well.

The kids opted for a turkey and cheddar sandwich on some amazingly fresh white bread and a macaroni and cheese that did Vermont proud with the quality of cheese gracing the cup.

My wife went for the veggie wrap that was loaded with crisp vegetables, ranch and hummus and came with a small side salad, as well. I opted for the turkey Reuben panini but switched the Swiss cheese for cheddar. A cider slaw was on the panini and perfectly grilled marble rye bread made the sandwich a real winner.

While you are there, check out the craft beer grab bags that run just $5.99 and you are guaranteed four different local beers within each bag. Not a bad bargain!

Loved the service and the food. The lady at the cash register taking orders is hilarious and makes the place lively. I misread the menu and thought the spinch salad was a panini. While I was quickly scanning the menu to look for another option, the lady at the cash register asked if I wanted to still make the salad ingredients into a panini. She then asked the kitchen to turn the ingredients of the salad into a sandwich. OMG it was one of the best paninis I have had in a while and it's not even officially on the menu!

Absolutely loved this place! We tried all of their hard ciders and thoroughly enjoyed each it was hard to choose one to take home. The girl that was working in the morning on Oct 8th was so helpful and welcoming. She even provided great recommendations to see fall foliage that didn't have the crowds, as well as other local establishments to check out. We don't live in the area but if we did this would probably be a frequent stop.

We had a fantastic time at Apple Core! So fantastic that we came two days in a row. Day 1, we enjoyed cider flights in the comfy cidery. Day 2, we had lunch in the cafe and everything was DELICIOUS! thank you for a great time!

I was pleasantly surprised. You order your food/drink at the counter, and then choose a table - they’ll call out your number to serve your food. Fast service, even on a busy weekend. Good variety of sandwiches, small kids menu. The mac and cheese was great, and everyone loved their sandwiches. They offer hard cider on tap and also cider flights. 2 bathrooms, pretty clean. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
