Foy's Lake Park

It was such a lovely first day of our trip! Then rain came and left, but we still enjoyed ourselves! The water was so clear! Was a bit sad to see the garbage along the beach. Grabbed what we could.

10 mi uses from kalispell a beautiful and clear lake! If you don't want to go down to flathead lake or up to whitefish lake this is a great pick! Wish we had more time there. We will be back for sure!

Such a beautiful lake. I wish I had a drone to take an aerial view because it really is jaw dropping how gorgeous this lake is. The water is so clean and clear (you can see fish swim with you). I really appreciate the walkway that creates a safety barrier for younger children not to go too far into the deeper depths of the lake. Just beautiful!

We traveled 1800 miles to deliver a boat to our grandchildren in Whitefish. So in looking for a lake nearby with a dock & swimming area, auspiciously happened upon Foy Lake! Beautiful clear water like you never see, dock, picnic tables, roped off swimming area with a walkway around it you can sun upon. We had a blast with the kids. The boat safely held all 4 of them & 2 parents for a bit of a paddle about the beautiful lake on a fantastic day. Unfortunately, I took zero pictures.

Foy's Lake in Kalispell is a truly breathtaking destination. The serene lake surrounded by lush greenery offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The crystal-clear waters are ideal for boating and kayaking, while the well-maintained trails around the lake provide excellent opportunities for hiking and picnics. The natural beauty and recreational options make Foy's Lake a must-visit when in Kalispell.

Spring is in the air. Hubby and I parked to eat dinner at the lake, just to have a reason to get out of the house. Restaurants were packed on a Friday night, so we didn't fight it. Cute group of kids dressed all in formal attire drove up in several cars. Apparently it is prom for their church! So adorable!!! And they were so sweet and polite while taking their pictures (they were worried they were bothering us).

Foys Lake is a great spot to jump in for a quick cool down or an afternoon out on the lake. It's just a hop skip and a jump from town, which makes it very convenient. It's relatively small, but big enough for tubing, jet skiing, paddleboarding, etc.
It does tend to get overcrowded these days with the influx of people moving to Kalispell. :(

From when I was a kid I have memories of swimming every day on summer vacation at Foys Lake. Before this lovely park was built you had a spot on the east side that was where we went. Not very nice. But it still felt cool and refreshing on a hot summer day.

The turquoise waters of our tiny close to town lake are some of the best. Always refreshing. A swim from The dock around the islands and back, is 1 mike.

Family friendly and fun swimming area. The dock makes a fun place for littler swimmers to feel confident in. Little fish all around. Saw bald eagles, a harmless snake, and other beautiful animals. Water is a gorgeous color and not freezing. Picnic benches and clean out houses.

Beautiful lakeside park with some flat spots for lounging and an excellent dock to hang out on. Additional swimming section beyond the dock. Boat launch to the right, so keep an eye on exploring kids.

Great little beach that wasn't crowded and perfect for cooling off. Not a lot of room to lay out as the beach was fairly step and had gravel but still a good place to get into the water.
