I really like this Ace Hardware store. It has that old-school feel of the way a hardware store should be. The employees are friendly and helpful, the selection and pricing are very good, and the products they carry are high quality. I much prefer to shop at a place like this rather than one of the bigger warehouse home improvement stores.

This is always a great place to shop. They offer great competitive prices and inventory that is easily accessible and in close proximity to the entry of the store. The workers are helpful and do not hound you when you are looking at items. The store is set up in a very sensible way, and a person does not feel cramped into tight spaces to shop. Every section is situated in a professional manner, making it easy to find what you're looking for. Please think about using Ace Hardware as they are very important to our strong economy!

Montana Ace’s staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have the biggest selection of nuts and bolts I’ve ever seen! I can always find what I’m looking for.

I almost always head straight to Ace Hardware before hitting the larger box stores. The employees at Ace have time to help you and actually seem to enjoy their job.

Purchased 160 lbs of fertilizer. Staff extremely helpful in choosing correct product and in loading it in my vehicle. Fertilizer was some of the best I’ve ever purchased. Good place. I will be back

In this age, it's encouraging to find a well staffed and cordially inviting business. Have had numerous positive encounters and only one concern. When purchasing nails, bulk screws and related, signage instructs you to include item # as well as the weight of your selection. At checkout I was told, "Not that I don't trust you, but I'm going to reweigh your purchase." In reality what was being said is, " I don't trust you so I'm going to reweigh your selection." My recommendation is to not have the customer post the weight and just weigh it at checkout. That way the customer's integrity is not being questioned. Otherwise, thanks for being a valued asset to the community.

Very helpful and accommodating people. This store lives up to the Ace add hype.

I was after some very specific and somewhat obscure plumbing parts in an attempt to repair a broken water line at 7pm. Ace of course was open, unlike Ferguson and Keller. And they had far more parts than Lowes or Home Depot. A gentleman in the plumbing dept did his best to help me find the assortment of fittings that were required. It took some ingenuity, but we figured it out, I made it home, fixed the pipe, and we were able to have running water again. Ace is so small compared to many hardware stores, yet they always seem to have what I need, as well as knowledgeable employees who genuinely care. For this, I am grateful, and I hope the mom&pop vibe of Ace continues in kalispell and elsewhere.

Customer service is always spectacular. All shelves stocked & looking great. Nice layout inside & out. Gorgeous flowers & lots of vegetable starters in the outside gardening area.

This store has been incredibly helpful in an incredible amount of ways! They helped tremendously when they provided (15) 1/2"X12" copper pipes to Smith Valley school for an educational program where students learned about electro magnetics. With their donation to the school each student was able to take one assembled setup of a copper tube and neodymium magnet home. The one pictured was the prototype created before final assembly.
