I was born and raised in Texas and never knew this community was here. I do now and will be sure to stop in every time I am on I-35.
I ate a sauerkraut kolache and a tub of ice cream and left full. The ladies I was riding with said the fried pies are better than "that other place" across the border.
The employees were quite helpful and answered our group's questions with patience.

We've stopped here many times thru the years. Their pies and other pastries and cookies are delicious. I especially like their strudel, fried pies and kolaches. Great place to get a homemade sweet dessert!

Somebody needs to put me on pastry restriction! I love everything here. The strudel, fried pies, kolaches, bread and other treats. My granddaughter likes the chocolate fried pies. They are good but I like the Apple strudel and fruit fried pies.

Great friendly service and Absolutely the best food around for a quick drop in place! The Kolaches are awesome! And the Meat Lovers Pizza is the best there is, no comparison! I typically do not eat pizza from anywhere! But was talked into trying theirs and I have been addicted to it since. I live 30 mins from here and will drive in just to get some pizza!

Great pastries and amazing pizza. The breakfast pizza had me coming back daily for almost a month straight.

My cousin told me about this place when she knew we were driving home from Winstar casino. Oh my gosh! Best pizza we've had since moving to Texas from the Chicagoland area. I instantly regretted not buying the largest size pizza they had. The bread in the store is amazing as well! My husband loved the sausage roll and the jalapeno roll! The pastries are very subpar to everything else. Will definitely visit every time we come out! Make sure to take a few loafs of the bread home for your family. 10 out 10 recommend!!

Love this place! Always have fresh iced tea and the best goodies that aren't available just anywhere. Hard for me to get out of this store once I'm in there. So glad business has picked up for them.

Found this place by accident but I am in heaven!! The smell walking through the door was amazing and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will be stopping on my way back and making sure I have an empty stomach so I can try more things!

We stopped to get fuel and used the Rv dump station,which was free! And easy to get into.
We also went in and got several different pastries, which were amazing!

Favorite pit stop on the way to Fort Worth from OKC.

Great food, authentic to Germany. Service was okay but that's expected from teenagers, love the building and the sights.

This place has an amazing selection of German influenced beads, pastries, kolaches, and other yummy treats, in addition to gas and the usual convenience store items. Right off the freeway, and easy to miss... but don't miss it!

I absolutely loved this place. I was here 7/22/23 around 1pm. Everyone inside was so nice.

Great little rest place for a German snack and a little convenience shopping. I had a jalapeño cheese sausage pig in a blanket that was very good and the lady working was just a pleasure to talk to. I would recommend.

Got some cinnamon bread here that will knock your socks off. Way better than any cinnamon roll I ever had!

Awesome place! Perfect stopping point! Clean restrooms, all the basics, and friendly people behind the counter. But the main reason to stop is for the fresh baked goods - go early! The cheese strudel is heavenly scrumptious yummy! The fried pies - coconut is my fave - are in the same delicious category (but they will sell out!). I got a cinnamon roll the other day for the first time and it was really really good (took it home and put it in the microwave a few seconds, added some butter...omg!) If you're on I35 in Gainesville, this is the place to stop.

Delicious. There cake, cheesecake, brownies, and pizza are outstanding. I'll keep coming back to try something new everytime.
