The Oasis Cafe Dallas

Great breakfast and great service. CASH ONLY….they have quite a selection and daily specials board. Atmosphere was inviting. They have Omelettes and burritos and tacos 🌮 and so much more…I had the 3 egg veggie omelette with hash browns and toast and my kiddo had scrambled eggs ham and pancakes!! We both enjoyed coffee ☕. Definitely worth a stop in when your in the area!!

If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know I believe that attention to detail is crucial. Many reviews mention that this cozy spot is cash-only (indicated on the door) and has been around for quite some time. Additionally, the numerous knickknacks scattered throughout the place have been a topic of discussion.

What sets this place apart is that every single knickknack is dust-free. The work speaks volumes about the care and effort put into maintaining the establishment.

The food is excellent and on par with what you would expect from a diner. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff who are always engaging and happy.

The lack of dust is a significant factor for me, and the rest of the place is equally spotless. I will be returning.

This place is amazing, very homey. Linda is great, my first time and she explained the menu very well. Will be back.

We enjoy this cafe. It's small and CASH only. The biscuits are fresh handmade. Hubby likes their omelets. Very reasonable prices. They have specials and great prices. Not sure it's handicapped-easy, but I feel confident they would make it comfortable

Visiting from Atlanta with my partner and wanted to grab breakfast. We saw they were cash/ check only at the entrance. Before we could turn around the owner came outside and told us we could eat and bring back cash later. The food was so good, everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was homey and welcoming. If your seeing this and needed conformation to go, GO! It's worth it! Don't forget to tip at least 25%! I will definitely be back!

Just had the most delightful experience at this cozy Dallas cafe! 👌 Navy, the owner, and her staff provide top-notch customer service, and the food is mouthwateringly delicious - from steak to chilaquiles, and don't forget the must-try pancakes! Don't forget to bring cash because this gem is cash-only! 💵💰 But trust me, it's worth every penny for the amazing experience and food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of my favorite breakfast places in Dallas. Really filling for cheap price (~$25 for everything in the photo)

Cash only! Also had to wait around 20 minutes at 10 on a Sunday

This was my first time trying this hidden breakfast and lunch get. They have limited hours so I had been by before but a yard in today. I was very impressed by the menu options and I ended up going with the migas. It was great and spicy. The homemade salsa they had with it was also tremendous. I will def have to go back sometime. Just make sure you have cash because they are cash only!!

It's cash only. Missed that part so they graciously allowed us to go get cash and come pay our tab. I felt really bad about that.

The food was simple but good. Staff and customers know each other very well that I observed. I worked in this area for years and never visited before I definitely wish I had eaten here years ago. Thank you for the great service and food.

This place is cash only just so you know before going!! Now that there's that out of the way...you should go here, you really should. Why you ask? Because it's like a step back into 1988 when life was easy like the interior of this place. Cozy little space with booths and a real diner style bar. The waitress was the best ever and didn't make me feel rushed although I only got takeout. Scrambled eggs were delicious and none of that out of the can junk. Toast was cooked just right and the grits made you wanna slap yo mama. I highly recommend as I will be going back again. They do have lunch as well but I believe they close about 2.30 pm so get there for breakfast or lunchtime!!

CASH ONLY - 1st time customer - delicious food and very friendly atmosphere (staff and customers) - very small town feel. I love this place. Will keep this place in mind when I’m back in town.

Service is beyond friendly, super quick at seating & getting your food out. They remember your orders AND names! Truly a great place. It is cash only so make sure to stop at ATM.

The best part of being snow bound in Dallas was getting to have lunch at the Oasis Restaraunt! Friendly service and delicious home cooked food. I had the roast beef lunch special for $9. Be sure to add the homemade cake for desert!

So incredibly friendly! I've always wanted to try this place but I'm usually in that area in the late afternoon and they close at 2:30 pm. Decided to give it a try today. So glad we did!

This place is the best value in Dallas for breakfast. Sad that so many of the previous review mention they were unaware it was cash only. There is a sign on the door that say 'Cash only'. No matter how many signs you put out, people will never see it.
