Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I don't do reviews often, but I wanted to make sure and write one for this business and it's owner. I called the owner on a Thursday to cater my mother's funeral on Saturday. He was pleasant, professional and compassionate with my needs. He was able to fully cater the services and showed up early, served and cleaned up without incident. The food and service were excellent. Many of the attendees wanted to know who catered the event. The portions were more than enough and the staff were great to work with. Thank you for your help with such an emotional event for our family. I would highly recommend this location.

Love this place. Food is awesome always hot and juicy meat. I specially love the baked potatoes. Employees are always smiling and very friendly.

Just got back by after not being here for a while the staff is great and the food is amazing they really know what they're doing up there new manager shy is changing the place around!!

My food was hot and delicious! The brisket was good quality with little fat. They made my fries to order so they were hot! The front entry is a little different with the whiteboards but the location is extremely clean and well kept!

I placed an order and the order wasn’t right. The new owner made sure our order was remade, was very polite and had great customer service. I actually felt valued as a customer! Was about to stop eating here after being frustrated with my order but this interaction has me to be a returning customer. The new management and ownership is definitely making a difference !!!

Great customer service and food

There is a new GM, Michael, at this location in Princeton and I went and spoke with him regarding a order that I needed on Christmas Eve 2021. I was a bit concerned due to previous reviews but those were prior to him coming in. After speaking with him I decided to place my Christmas Eve order and I cannot say enough kind things about them and I am so happy that I gave them that chance. The food was awesome, the meat melted in your mouth, every meat and vegetables was off the chart good! Thank you so very much Michael for all of that wonderful food on such a special day!

Staff was amazing and you already know the bbq is too!!!

I normally just think that Dicky’s is just ok bbq.
I came tonight and got the brisket plate and was really surprised at how good it was. I’ll definitely will be coming back to this location.

I did find out it’s under new management and he brought in people who know how to cook.

I have come to eat several times and the food is really good. I have tried the potatoes with meat and they are too good, very good quality meat and they have good desserts. I really recommend this place

We have eaten here quite a bit in the last few years since this location opened, and in a word, it is awesome. The staff knows us and we always enjoy talking with them. The restaurant is perpetually clean. We've eaten at other Dickey's locations in Texas, and I will say without fail this location has consistently had the best food, and it's delicious! I highly recommend stopping here if you're hungry.

Food was very good and fresh. Fast service, clean establishment, Wonderful Atmosphere! Not what I expected from looking from outside, it just looks small....once you walk in, it's very nice inside and lots of room and places to sit. Definitely give this place a try. I've eaten at other Dickey's and this place has all the others beat!

expectations. The staff was friendly and polite. Talked with new general manager about the great experience and food quality, will definitely go back
again for lunch or dinner.

Service was great. Ordered got in and out in a timely manner. Workers were very kind with great personality.

Food Review:

The arrangement of our food and packing was aesthetically pleasing. Foremost, the food was hot. In addition, all requests were prepared without complaint.

This place was awesome the new manager shy is really friendly and consistent with her service. I’ve been here 2 times since she’s been working here. And she gave awesome service both times and food was great! She even remembered my name! I will be back.

Loved Dickeys ever since the original Dallas location had wood shavings on the floor. Always great Texas barbecue and fried okra served up Texas friendly! The VERY best place to satisfy that protein craving right now, ya ravenous carnivore!😃 And, add a sweeeeet tea to that order in the big yellow cup y'all👍
