Bailey Middle School

Bailey Middle School has a new Principal and times will change as long as the PARENTS have done their job and teach their own children right from wrong. I have a daughter there that is a Top Notch Student and she does very well. She seems to really enjoy the school and Teachers! We have heard bad things about the old principal but she's gone and the new one seems very involved and excited to be there!!!! Go BEARS!!!!

this school is really good. yet there are some bad parts like there is at every school, so don't dislike bailey beccause there are drugs there because every other school has that. also we have a new principal so don't worry about dr.fletcher. also this school has good academics and good at sports. they were city champions for football 2013-2014. so if i were you i would recommend your child here at bailey middle school.

Went here all 3 years and was the best. It was a bit stressful at the beginning but the teachers were always there to help me pass. If you are not really good in math for 8th grade try to get Mr.Hatchet best math teacher. Bailey Bears for life!

I have been with Bailey for 6-7 and 8th grade. The teachers are nice. I love the principal, Mr. Rocha.
Mr. Rocha used to be the principal of Menchaca Elementary, and that's where I met him. I grew up with him.

Things have gotten much better since Mr. Rocha took over. There are a couple teachers there that shouldn't be teaching, but other than that, I am overall very pleased. I will warn you, however, when your first child hits middle school, it's a culture shock for everyone. The loving, nurturing environment quickly changes to deadlines and expectations, drama, puberty and hormones. There are some really great teachers there that sacrifice much of their personal time to help kids that want and need a little extra help. I highly recommend if your child struggles in a core class, arrange their advisory class to be one of those teachers. It makes all the difference in the world. You don't want an art teacher, for example, if you need help with math or history. Good things are happening at Bailey. Mr. Rocha, Ms. Holiday, Ms. Sosa, all the office staff help have been really great and approachable. Don't hesitate to talk to them if you have a concern. Best to all.

Bailey has been very good to me they recently started competitive cheer and allowing 7th graders to try out for pep squad. I have been going to bailey for a year now most teachers really care about their students . Dress code though needs some work . Overall I'm very exited to go to bailey middle school . Ps. Some kids at bailey act very ghetto

even though it is a kind of a bad school, everybody joins together to talk and "hangout". The people talking bad about this school isn't right they don't the whole story, Dr. Flecher was not bad she was nice and not a bad person

Perhaps someone - Google? - might want to go back to middle school to figure out how to do math - averaging. The average rating for Bailey actually is 2.9!
