I have been banking here since they opened in 1974 and can say that I have never had a bad experience. Not one. My kids and grandkids bank here too. I think that the bank is fortunate that they did not hire that bad attitude girl who wanted to work there. This is definitely a warm and friendly bank that I have recommended to many friends over the past 46 years.

I have been banking here since I was 16. I am now 42. My husband and I have all our accounts here, Even our children’s accounts. This is an Excellent bank. They’re honest and they care about their customers. I will never leave.

I have done business with Citibank, Chase and Bank of America. I have found these employees to be untrained and lacking in knowledge. They would almost always need to refer to their corporate offices to answer a banking question and need to get back to me. At Heritage Bank your questions are answered immediately by their professional friendly banking employees(not robot clerks). I strongly recommend Heritage Bank of Schaumburg for courteous personal service.

Overall, a nice little bank with friendly employees. My problem is they nickle and dime you to death. They charge for checks and charge monthly if you don't go paperless. My other investment bank requires no minimum balance, free checks, free delivery of statements.

It's exceptionally rare to find a business that does everything wrong.

-Mobile check deposits are limited to $1,000 per check. Do you make more than $1,000 per pay period?
-Online account credentials must be changed very frequently, and must meet several complexity requirements making it impossible to remember what said password actually is.
-If you only make despits into your personal accounts, at some point the back will mail you a letter that you must sign affirming that the account is still active, or else it will be considered as dormant and closed. Despite scheduled deposits continuing to be paid into the account on a monthly basis...
-Savings account interest rates are in no way competitive to other local and online banks. Discover is giving me 4.3% APY on my liquid savings account as of this writing.
-You will get nickle and dimed for everything. You will be charged $5 a month for a paper statement that costs the bank $1 to mail to you. Despite that fact that the bank is profiting royally from your balance which will not be shared with you due to the aforementioned low interest rates.
-The bank is only open from 9-5. The same hours as the average American. Making it near impossible for me to actually use the services of the bank.
-The bank has posted no concealed carry signage on their property. The point in time when I close my account for the above reasons and am walking back to my car with a brick of cash seems like as good of a time as ever to be armed. Will the bank be providing me armed security in lieu of me being able to defend myself?

First of all the bank staff is extremely unpleasant, the banking products are NOT up to date. Fees for everything! DO NOT bank here, you will get scammed. Unlike other small banks, I have never dealt with such unprofessional people. I was lied to, I demanded to speak to the manger and the manger simply told me she didn't have time for me and asked me to leave. Unfortunately such a small bank nowhere else to complain to but here. As a hardworking individual I advise you don't bring your money to this shady "bank". These people are doing some sketchy things and will get rid of people that catch on do such illicit acts.

Do yourself a favor and don't use this bank. They are terrible at providing lending services.
