Vitale's Bakery

I’m from Arizona, before visiting Italy 2018, I was recommended Vitale’s bakery, let me tell you. I have now been to Italy, now when I have to make a trip to Missouri. I have to visit Vitale’s. This will Italy experience.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The prices were really good and was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back more.

Everything is incredibly affordable and they have a wide variety of goods like ravioli, sauce, bread, sweets, and biscotti. There is a 3% fee for card transitions.

Great little local bakery. Love their pizza dough and hoagies.

Classic Italian Bakery. Wife loved the Tiramisu. I had a Creme Horn. so many choices. Definitely be back again.

This has to be my favorite bakery. The service is always prompt and friendly. The staff are helpful and delightfully engaging. The baked goods are exceptional with copious variety. Cookies, biscotti, tiramisu, baklava, Italian breads. But they also have spamoni, Italian ice, and other Italian specialties such as ravioli, pasta sauce, pizza crust, etc. Did I say they are just the friendliest place with prompt service.

Vitales has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab quick and delicious treats. My favorite thing there so far is the tiramisu followed by the cannolis. Pictured is also a ricotta puff that was so fresh and yummy as well. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help with any questions.

We stopped by this bakery and bought a variety of goods. We ended up spending about $50.00 on a large variety of items and all of them were fantastic! The staff was friendly, even with the line out the door. I would highly recommend this place.

Nice bakery with delicious cookies to choose from. My great grandmother from Philadelphia made many of these growing up and it brought me back. My only regret is I wish I went home with more. :) I would be there often if I was local to St. Louis. Check it out! 😍

I always go to the Hill for Bread and rolls as you can't get any better, especially price wise and tasty to boot. Stopped in to pick up some rolls as I was craving good Italian rolls for sandwiches. The ones you get at a grocery store aren't as fresh or delicious, as I can smell how fresh the ŕolls are when I open the bag.
Don't get me wrong, they have all kinds of bakerd goods too, like cookies, cakes, cheesecake and so much more. Of course, a selection of pasta and sauces too. Almost anything bakery on the Hill won't disappoint you.
This is the bag spilt up into four per bag as there were a dozen rolls in the bag. I keep what I need out and freeze the rest. Don't believe me, go checkout their Bakery yourself.

Very friendly and patient service. Clearly they love providing great Italian bakery items. Best we’ve tried on The Hill.

I want to start off by saying 1 very important thing. I am 100% Italian America ,1st generation. 2ND I am from the East Coast originally moved here 7 months ago. I can tell & smell if a bakery is authentic Italian just by the smell. Yes I wrote that. I was excited to learn that there was a Italian community here. The 1st time I went about 2 months ago I was with my toddler that I take care of. We were greeted warmly and was asked if my little one could have a cookie. ( Unfortunately his Mom does not allow him to have sweets) I looked around and was happy to see lots of familiar cookies and pastries. Even looked over at the frigs, where they had prepared meatball & pasta. I left with meatballs, tortellini, and the cookie that was supposed to go to the little one.melted in my mouth. Came back again about 2 weeks later for the meatball & tortellini & a sweet for me. Today was back again after trying the "Other Bakery" .Vitale's is a superior quality bakery over the other bakery by leaps and bounds. Quality!!

The best Italian bakery I’ve been too in a long time. Authentic and great taste. Great little place.

Phenomenal pastries, breads and deserts. They give you a "at home" feeling, extremely helpful and kind. A must go even when you're visiting.

Just one example of a beautiful and very delicious bread wreath. These were used as part of the centerpieces for a fundraiser. 25 in all, each as spectacular as the next. Thank you!!!
