CLEAN. Well-stocked. Good selection of fresh foods (including organic poultry and produce). A nice variety of dry goods, too. Some things seem expensive, but most pricing is competitive… with some exceptional sale prices. Probably not the best choice for bulk shopping, but perfect for all the smaller grocery trips in between. Self checkout (up to 20 items) is easy and fast. In-store pharmacy and florist are also convenient. Two thumbs up.

Lots of ♿ parking, just remember the riding carts are at the west end of building. The are very helpful and helped me to my car. Stock well with meats and vegetables. Cashier was cheerful and helpful. Thanks for having good employees.

This neighborhood Schnucks is one of the best in St. Louis. The produce is always fresh, the meat selection is great, friendly staff, short check out lines and self check out options. The store is huge and has a wide variety of home goods as well. Definitely better than the Hampton Village location.

This is definitely one of the better stores in the area. They stay on top of the fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as making sure theres a good variety of fresh non frozen packaged meals to make. Thanks!

If you live on the hill or in TGS, go here to get a more gentrified and hip selection of what you can't find at the Schnucks on S. Grand. A good store with a wide selection of groceries and friendly staff. Better specialty options for some people than Schnucks S. Grand. Produce isn't really as good as the one on Grand though. I come here when I can't find something down the street at Grand. All schnucks are not created equal, but this one has always given me pleasantly weird vibes. Good people watching too.

I'm an instacart shopper and this is one of the best places I have shopped in the area. It's always kept clean. The bathrooms are kept very clean and well stocked.

I rarely find any items past their due dates on the shelves. They consistently have the most inventory in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. If something is not on the shelf, they are more than happy to go and check in the back.

The cashiers are fantastic and very friendly. The self-checkout area moves pretty quickly and the staff monitoring it are very good at helping people figure out how to use it.

The staging area for curbside is always kept clean, despite other instacart shoppers doing their best to leave the place looking like a wreck. All of the stores janitors work very hard to make sure that this location is as clean as possible and that the trash cans are kept emptied.

Rachel does an awesome job keeping the shelves stocked and has found several items for me in the back when I needed them for a customer. If I see her in the store she is usually my go-to person for help. I don't know her name but the lady in the dairy area in the morning is also fantastic. She's never too busy to help, even if she's got a whole pallet to work.

Go here instead of the Hampton location; that place is a cluster. Just watch out for people who are obviously from the UK who walk on the left side of the aisle. (How does any human being living in the US go forward on the left side? It drives me crazy.) This Schnucks location had every weird ingredient I needed, without the headache.

One of the few establishments left that retains the same staff year after year after year. It doesn't go unnoticed.

I've been going to this location for about 9 years now as a homeowner in the area. Their service is always exceptional!

Besides it being close to my house, I enjoy seeing the staff as they are friendly and assisting for one's needs.

While they suffer from the same issue all stores have of cluttered aisles that reduce store accessibility, the changes they've done over the years are often in favor of the customer.

For perspective, I would say my favorite store is Maplewood, and my least favorite is Hampton Village.

Nice store. Schucks prices are through the roof - but that's all of them. Decent employees.. Food very fresh. Store very clean and not cluttered. Customers were civil. I'll be back. 12-15-23 update..... A very nice courteous lady named Mary helped me dearly. Kudos!

its the only resonably priced gallon of milk within almost 2 miles of where I live!!!! lmao. And don't sleep on the schnucks store brands. they know what is going on their shelves...wink wink.

The Hampton village store is closer to my home but I usually choose to come to this location because it's stocked better and many more choices especially in the grab and go section. They also carry a good amount of local merch as well.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Staff has helped me dog watch while I ran in and shopped a couple times. I wish I could bring him in with me so i didn't have to worry, but I'm glad I can get some assistance from time to time. I hope no one takes advantage of their generosity.

I just want to share the wonderful customer service I experienced with the lady working on Mother’s Day, wearing the black unity T-shirt in the self checkout lines. She was polite, professional and she was handling many things at once. It felt overwhelming in the store due to the holiday, but she was calm and cool and was directing multiple people through multiple issues at once. Mad props to this employee. Give her a raise!!
