Bryan’s American Grille

The southern fried chicken is the bomb! Get it - you will be so glad you did. So tasty and crispy outside, and meat is juicy. For sides I had the mashed and broccoli. Both excellent.

The female Bartender with the short cute hair (I foolishly did not ask her name), greeted us right away. I tried the Sunday xl bloody Mary special with a slider and it was fantastic. I had another cocktail along with a few of the appetizers and enjoyed the experience. The food was good overall but id say to remember that as a bar restaurant, their best dishes are the usual bar staples: Buffalo dip, burgers... The drinks from the bartender were delicious and beautifully garnished. I tried one from the great recommending on the back of the menu under a category called "fun drinks" - I'm so glad i did.
Don't forget to check out their events and grab yourself some popcorn from their machine. Lovely time, thanks!

Hands down one of the best if not the best burger I've ever had. Was visiting family from Texas and this meal made me feel right at home! The staff was 100% some of the kindest people I have ever met! Sheri was awesome and recommended some great choices! The quesadilla burger was to die for! Will definitely be visiting again! The ambience made you feel like you were right at home! Also the food portions are out of this world and the prices are more than fair!

They're so welcoming and personable! It's so hard to find great service now a days... but that exactly what you'll get here. I love all the decorations it lifted my spirits...especially to see that they support out troops. The chilli soup is amazzzzzing by the way. If I'm every in the neighborhood again. Stopping by is a must.

We eat weekly at Bryan’s and greatly enjoy the atmosphere, food and staff; Vanessa is our fav! Recommend to anyone looking for a local restaurant with good food/time. Personal fav is the nachos and Friday karaoke is a hit, too.

Seriously, can anyone be nicer then the owners here? Doubtful. We were immediately greeted at the door and the owner spent literally 5 minutes talking and getting to know us. It was also Meatball Monday, so they were super excited about that.

This restaurant and bar is exactly what you expect. Good food and good drinks. The service was great and the staff were friendly. We went for trivia night and Donna the host was tremendous. We will go back.

I love this place!!! Service was excellent, food was great and very accommodating to my allergies. We will definitely be back. They have the best loaded Bloody Mary this side of the Mississippi lol (I don’t know that for sure) but come in and try one and judge yourself! Sherri and Shannon are the “awesomest” (not sure if that’s a word but it should be, just for them) Seriously......I highly recommend this place!!

What a wonderful place to host a party! We catered food buffet style for a 50th birthday party and Bryan was so helpful ensuring our menu fit the needs of our guests. Food was awesome and karaoke was a blast!

First time going to this bar and never went to it when it was Shanahan's, I guess the former owner still owns the one in Woodridge but shut down this one about 2yrs ago.

The parking is pretty tight and small and I have no clue where you would park if the place was actually filled to capacity. I do think they should add a security light to the back of the building or neighbor friendly lighting for the lot in back of the building.

The bar is a small hometown type of bar with a few TV's on the wall that you didn't notice because they were not blasting. The decor is a simple old style decor with perfect lighting so you didn't feel you were in a fast food joint. The crowd was of the older group and it seemed many knew each other and had the family bar crowd environment. We did get to meet the owner Brian (the guy in the hat) who told us a little history of how it came about and wanted this to be a bar where you could feel safe and not deal with the drunk younger crowd. .
The drinks were reasonably priced and the bar tender even remembered my friends name each time he came back to ask if we needed anything. The food we had was awesome, my friend and the chicken dinner meal which is suppose to be famous, I did try a bite but didn't eat enough of it to make an opinion but it did look good. The chicken dinner came with fries which were fantastic and I did steal quite a few off his plate and a serving of coleslaw which was pretty tasty. I myself had the Reuben quesadillas and they were to die for, they had plenty of every ingredient and a lot of flavor and I will def get these again. I liked them so much I even thought of order for pick up. The dessert I had was a brownie topped with ice cream and it was okay, it looks really good but the brownie itself was on the dry side and not very brownie tasting, I think they need to find a different brownie vender and they could have a great dish.
I did see a car outside and they did run inside to get food so I need to find out if they do offer take out which would be great.
We did end up staying for karaoke to watch not participate and it was a nice set up and everyone seemed to be having fun. These were not people who are pro's doing the karaoke circuit and it was entertaining but is was a small crowd who sang and it could be the same people that are always there so that could get a tad boring if the same people sing every karaoke night. All in all I did really like my food and will def go again. We did sit at the bar to eat so I couldn't tell you how comfortable the small dining area was or how the service was. We did see 1 bar tender, owner and one server. We will be going again and I will see if I like it the second time around as much as the first time.

A wonderful place for a church mens luncheon. The drinks were cold, the lunch specials were delicious, and Shannon our delightfully pleasant server, working all alone provided BETTER service than comparably sized venues with three times the staff. I am making it a point to return here.

Bryan's is always a fun laid-back family atmosphere if you want a casual bite to eat and some good brews. The menu is extensive and they do have good kids options.

Been coming here every so often now with the crew and we love it here. Great owner, the service superb, staff very friendly and features delish food at a great price. Trivia night is fun on Thursdays. The popcorn is addictive. Not too many beers on tap however what they carry is a great choice; everything from slitsh to two brothers! Lots of TV's so you can catch whatever it is you want to watch.

New customer and very happy. Was greeted at the door, had a nice introduction from the owner, and waitress was very kind. I chose the Southern Blackened Salmon for lunch. It was delicious. Very cozy environment. Not loud. Clean. Highly recommend checking Bryan's out.

The food was incredibly good, the wait staff was amazing and attentive, and the restaurant was overall very nice and I would totally recommend people to come here!

I love this place! I occasionally come in Friday's for Karaoke. Today, I decided to come in for Football. And I'm so glad I did. Lots of this and sound for the game. The crowd at the bar was so much fun. Bryan, the owner was super friendly. Carrie was attentive and personable. I ordered the Buffalo Chix Wrap. Off the charts tasty. Just enough spice. Step out of unit comfort zone and give this place a try!

Was recently there for a fundraiser....and the staff did an amazing job!! I think more people showed up than expected but they handle it fabulously! Food was great, quick, hot and fresh.. drinks flowed, the waitress and bartender were super friendly, overall a great time! Thank you all again!

This is an awesome place. I hesitant to stay after seeing they had a bus of people they were serving with only 2 waitresses. But they did not disappoint. Shari was our waitress. She was fantastic in handling the overwhelming customers. She was bartending and waiting tables. The food was amazing and we had no delays on drink refills as the bus of people we’re paying for their checks as we were eating our food. Definitely would be back when we are in the area again!!

Great place for food, drinks and live music! It is also kid friendly.

I went with my friend and her 7 year old son. The place was busy. I’m glad I reserved a spot before we got there!

There were a couple servers so the service was a little slow because there were so many people, but the food, drinks and live music made up for it.

My friend had the fried fish, I had the mushroom burger, and her son had something from the kids menu. He said it was good.

Overall, a great place! Make sure you reserve a spot before you go! It does get busy there, but I highly recommend it!

I have been here on 3 separate occasions. My only complaint is they are not closer to where I live. I love this bar! The owners are phenomenal and personable. The bartenders, Shari & Zuzu are awesome. My food has been fantastic on all 3 occasions. It’s a great place to go after work or to watch the Bears. It’s nice there are still family owned spots where the owners make their presence known & haven’t turned their bar into their living room.
