Bobzbay Books

Having a local indie bookstore is the BEST! They have a great range of books from new releases to lower cost resale books. I love that I can usually find books I've been wanting to read for just a few dollars each. They support local authors and artists SO well with book signings and carrying local products. The kids and YA sections are fantastic.

So cute of a bookstore.....love the book signing of Jen Woodrum Saturday 5/20. Her first book - When Death is Coming!! Long lines of many people buying her book. Such a nice area too in Bloomington!

Loved the cozy feel of the store and got a DnD players manual for nearly half the price of buying it new! Definitely making this a stop anytime I'm in town!

Excellent, unbiased source for current political books, and excellent customer service and shipping times too!

Bobzbay is the kind of bookstore that you love to find when you're on vacation! If you are lucky enough to live in Bloomington, it's here every day for you! They have a huge selection of used books as well as new. If they don't have it, they will find it for you. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Bobzbay is located in downtown Bloomington, IL. There are bakeries, coffee houses, restaurants, art galleries, gift stores, a game store and so much more! Make the trip to Bobzbay!! You'll be glad you did!!

The BEST bookstore in town! Hands down! The vibe is very welcoming. They're LGBTQ+ Friendly, they participate in community events and even host a lot of events themselves. There's booksignings, meet and greets, and more. If i could give bobz 3 thumbs up i would. Liz and Sydney are always the greatest! Hunter is cool too. They always make sure I get what I want and I've never once had a bad experience here. I'm in atleast once or twice a week. Even if I'm not getting anything I love to stop in and just say hello!

An excellent, inclusive neighborhood bookstore that carries new and used books (cha-ching!) to help you manage your unreasonably tight book-buying budget. ;-) Excellent up-to-date newer releases and plenty of older treasures. Lovely staff and great location with other gift and thrift shopping nearby.

A fantastic local bookstore with an amazing selection! Friendly staff, local fare, and a great atmosphere. Also has an excellent kids section! Liz always pulls through with any special orders you need as well. Cannot recommend a bookstore more!

Definitely stop into this gem...not only do they have a great staff and a ton of books, they have some comic books and vintage stuff. I picked up an old burial service booklet as well as a new book.

Just a great little bookstore with both new and used books.

The store owner was incredibly helpful and patient. I was looking for books to help a friend who got their first classroom and needed to build up a classroom library. The owner took time to send me pictures of the books she had available in the age range I was looking for. Then answered all my questions and held the books for me to pick up. The books are all in great shape and were priced very fairly! I did not have a chance to look around the store, but I'll be back another time to check it out for myself. =)

Great book store with good pricing. I come by every once and a while to check out what's new. Staff is friendly and always willing to give input and a helping hand. Occasionally they host various events based on their calendar.

The staff was friendly and helpful for my request to purchase a few rare books via email and have them shipped. The books were wrapped and packed perfectly. You can trust them to take great care in shipping your purchase!

Every time I have a whim to purchase a book I hear about, I message BOBZBAY and she orders it no problem (and I usually have it within a week)! Much preferred over some national chain bookstore. Every time I go in I can usually find something interesting to add to my TBR! I will also add that I think their horror selection (small as it might be) is actually better than our Barnes and Noble in town!

Bloomington Normal finally has a good, locally-owned bookshop again. A great selection of well-curated titles it's a warm and welcoming place. Nice selection of knick-knacks and gifts, too, if you're into that sort of thing. If something isn't in stock, they can order it for you, too, all for the same prices you'd get if you visited Barnes & Noble (or in some cases less).

In short, an excellent book store, and another reason to shop local.
