David and his team were a fantastic team to work with. I had had a really terrible experience with a different contractor. DJs painting and remodeling came in and completed my kitchen renovation and they went beyond my expectations. His attention to detail, along with the way he kept me informed of all the worked that was scheduled to be completed each day really renewed my faith in contractors. I would recommend DJs Painting and Remodeling for all your contracting needs.

D J's is a very professional company with a very competent staff of decorators, carpenters and painters. We wanted "set in the wall" medicine cabinets with mirrors in our bathroom. They worked with us respecting our budget and time needs. The result is just what we wanted. We also found out that they do a wide variety of work including tree removal. Amazing! My wife and I are glad that we chose them!

Can’t say enough good things about DJ’s. Started with David, the owner, coming by to take photos and inviting us to their office to go over the estimate. Then working with Kate to pick out the paint, tile, and countertops. They made it simple and easy and gave great suggestions where we needed some help making a decision.

Project got started way before some other contractors we had talked to and once the project started everyone has been super responsive. For example, I sent an email after the project started around 10 pm and got a response within the hour and it was not an emergency and someone from their office stopped by first thing the next morning to make sure everything was going smooth and answer any questions we had. I also liked the fact they called at the end of each day to check in after the project started.

Their crews and sub contractors were always very professional and on time and did great work!

The project was finished right on time and they made sure to clean up at the end of each day so we could use some parts of the kitchen during the remodel.

When they were finishing up the kitchen we realized we had miscounted the number of knobs we needed for the cabinet doors and I told them about it when they stopped by to take some photos of the finished kitchen. Lindsey called the office and we they ordered the knob and had it installed as soon as the knob came in the next week.

I usually do all of the housework and remodeling myself but if I need anything done in the future that I do not have the time to complete on my own I will be calling DJs.

DJ's painted most of the interior rooms in our house, and they look fantastic. They did such a good job that I almost felt guilty asking them to take care of two very minor spots after the walk-through.
Will definitely use them again.

We had a plumbing leak that damaged our kitchen ceiling. DJ's had their people out the same day to stop the leak and the next day to tear out the damaged drywall and insulation. Once the ceiling was repaired it was completely undetectable! We had a guest ask if they had taken out all of the drywall instead of just the damaged area because they couldn't find any seams. DJ's also helped us work with our insurance company to make sure we got all the money that was coming to us. Definitely recommended!

Top notch professionalism, quality and customer service every time. If anything isn’t quite right, they keep working on it until it is. Customer satisfaction is obviously extremely important to them.

When I decided I wanted to pursue a major kitchen renovation I began by searching out well reviewed contractor options online. I narrowed it down to three, and began meeting contractors and getting bids. Meeting with Dave from DJ's Painting and Remodeling, I immediately felt he listened to my needs, understood what I was aiming for, and could be trusted to do the job well. Now that my job is complete, I can assure you that my expectations were all met.

When shopping for all of the finishes, Dave was a wealth of information about how durable products were, and what would work well together given my goals for the project.

The workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves after the day, and answered my many questions. Someone from the office called every day work was done to see if everything went well and if I had any questions. I often asked what the plan was the next few days and was given the next few steps at that time. Dave stopped by often to check on everything and every concern was followed up on.

I will say there were some hiccups along the way, as you would expect in any large project, but my concerns were always noted and they were addressed to my satisfaction.

One of the reason I was drawn to looking at this company were the repeating reviews that they were on time and on budget. I, unfortunately, was niether on time or on budget, but I do not believe that DJ'S holds the primary responsibility for either of these things. The delay was due to plumbing issues we could not have known before hand, and my adding on to the amount of flooring we decided to replace. The budget overage was also due to those issues as well as my having more expensive tastes than I realized. If I had anything to say at all it would be that maybe the contracted budget was a little on the low side. However, I was always made aware of what my choices would cost over our contracted amount before signing off on them.

Jake, an employee of DJ'S, was one of the main people to work at my house. He was polite, cleaned up, and knowledgably answered my questions. Yair also came often to work on drywall and paint. He also was very friendly, and kept me aware of what he was doing.

In summary, I'm very pleased I worked with DJ'S on this kitchen remodel and would hire them again for both large and small projects. My kitchen ended up beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. You will not be disappointed with the process or the results of choosing this company.

DJs came and painted our old honey oak cabinets and it brought new life to our kitchen. It’s been a little over 5 years now and the finish has held up as if it were brand new. I would highly recommend DJs for anything you need at your home!

Last fall, DJ's Painting and Remodeling rehabilitated my deck. The previous Behr's deck paint had peeled and cracked, causing some boards to decay. DJ's replaced the boards and sealed the deck with a top-notch paint that did a beautiful job of lasting through the winter. The service was terrific, and the company informed me at every step of the process.

Our experience with DJ's was wonderful. They were professional, detailed, and responsive. We love the upgrades to our living room along with the new interior paint and a few other details here and there. They helped to truly make this house feel like our home! #beforeandafter

We recently had an old faux pergola, wooden walk and porch removed and replaced with a concrete walk and porch. In addition we had our cedar siding, window trim, garage door, shutters and gutters re-stained / painted. We "absolutely love" the final product. All work was done by DJ's Painting and Remodeling of Bloomington, IL. Dave was invaluable in his guidance with our desired outcome. He takes care of his customers like they were his family. Ryan and Mike made quick work of the pergola/porch removal. Brandon, Jeremy and Brad were very detail oriented in both the preparation and painting/staining. Rick, Cody and Dan did a great job with the walk and porch. The finish was fantastic. I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the carpenter who did some work to facilitate the construction of the new porch. He did a nice job. Kate, Cheryl, Taylor, Amy and office staff were very pleasant to deal with. They checked with us daily to see if we were pleased with the work as it proceeded.
We researched reviews of DJ's Painting before we called them. The reviews were great. Dave was very professional and detailed in his description of what was needed for the best outcome of the job we were wanting done. The crews were efficient, organized and paid attention to good house keeping while working. We liked that DJ's has been in business for 30 plus years and that our job helped support 37 local residents and their families. Great Job guys! We highly recommend DJ's to any and all.

The end results are phenomenal. We hired DJ's to paint some interior areas. They did the walls, doors, and trim in 7 areas in our house. They were very affordable, which was a real plus. The attention to detail and the multi-step approach resulted in incredibly smooth finishes. Once they were done, I immediately reached out to the project manager (David), and got some exterior work on contract.

Great service! Professional start to finish. Even when the little hiccups happen which they do with any project, David and his amazing staff take care of it. Third project they have done for us and another round the corner! Thanks guys!

DJ's Painting recently painted some interior walls in our house. Not only did they somehow match an existing color (which was so old, we couldn't even give them a guess of the paint brand), but they were also very responsive and able to start the project right away. Everyone we spoke with, from owner to staff, were very kind and professional. We were very happy to work with them, happy with the end result, and we already planning to contact them for our next project.

DJ’s just redid my 1973 unfinished garage, putting in a new ceiling and refinishing and painting walls and ceiling. It looks like a new garage. The workers were skilled, friendly and dependable. The daily communication was excellent, always knew what was happening next. Thanks to Dave and the whole staff involved onsite and in the office!

I hired DJ’s for ceiling drywall repair and ceiling painting. Their work was good, but what really blew me away was their level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Throughout the project and after it was finished, they kept the space immaculate, and they even went above and beyond by vacuuming my living room and folding my blankets!

Honestly, their daily communication was a bit much at times, but it's clear that they value their customers and take pride in their work. I would highly recommend DJ's Painting to anyone in need of painting or drywall services. Their quality of work and exceptional customer service make them a top choice in the industry.

David and his staff were extremely professional throughout the whole process of painting my office. The quote was thorough, and inclusive. I was provided a refund when the required amount of paint was less than quoted, even after I paid the original bill. That just goes to show how honest David Juarez is. We had inspections midway and after completion of the project, and all issues were addressed within a few days. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Dj's Painting was fantastic. The customer service from the time I called to set up an appointment, to Dave arriving and giving ideas on how we can fix some wallpaper issues to how they would paint the textured walls in the bathroom. To Kate who came out a couple of times with paid colors and ideas how to improve the hallway issues. Brad did the painting was on time, completed the job in one day. The carpenter arrived at another time and he cut and put molding in our hallway upstairs. We also can't forget the person who arrived at 8am on the first day with everything everyone would need to complete the job. Their customer service,. attitude and thoughtfulness goes a long way Great Job DJ'S.

Due to an unfortunate incident, my wood kitchen floor suffered burns. I immediately contacted DJ's Painting to see if there was anything that could be done to save my floor. Dave came to my home and took a look at my floor and assured me he would do everything he could. I also spoke to him about some ceilings that I wanted repainted. From start to finish, DJ's "team" handled my project like it was their own. The flooring turned out beautiful and my ceilings were impeccably painted. No mess was left behind, and I was even treated to a wonderful cleaning crew, all compliments of DJs. I highly recommend their services, well worth it!!

From the initial contact to the completion of our interior painting project, the entire staff at D.J.’s was very responsive and attentive in providing excellent service and the highest quality work. Every touchpoint was helpful and professional, the project started and finished on time, and the painters demonstrated the utmost integrity and respect for my home during the project. I love the result and am looking forward to working with D.J.’s this spring on a deck replacement.
