Taurus Cycle & More - DNA Repairs

I was recently in Bloomington helping my mother out with some home issues. My personal truck was in the shop, so a I rode my adventure motorcycle (KLR) down from northern IL like I have many times in the past. After helping my mother out, I got out on Rt 66 to take it home. About 19 miles outside of Bloomington I got the dreaded bike shake. Apparently the tube decided to go bad. Darrin was the only shop that had a tube in stock in a 25 mile radius. I limped it back to him. He immediately pushed it onto the lift and started working on it. 30 mins later I was back on the road. He was very professional, efficient, affordable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone needing any type if repairs. He really saved my day. Thank you Darrin!

Owner told me to bring my Honda in for repair and mentioned they'd be out of the office for a few days so it might be a week or more to fix - it was done the same day. Very impressed with the service I received, would definitely go back for anything else.

I called and left the shop a message and they called me back within the hour. The gentleman I talked to gave me almost 10 minutes of his time, on the phone, recommending things to try at home that he could have easily charged me good money for. I’m going to try the things he recommended and if it doesn’t work I would gladly pay this shop to work on my motorcycle. You don’t get that kind of service these days.

Got tires replaced on my Yamaha Tracer 900. Great price on both labor and tires. The owner is honest and will clearly explain the cost breakdown. Work was excellent and done on time. Highly recommend this shop if you are in Blooomington/Normal area.

I was from out of town, and I had a nail in my rear tire. He got me in right away and the tires were fairly priced and the next day he called and said everything was ready. I also got an oil change and gear oil changed. Fair price and honest. It was a 5 star experience.

Great place. Had a issue with finding extended cables for a handlebar change. The most anyother shop can get is +8 over factory. I took them to Taurus and he said we would get it handled one way or another. He said it could take up to a week. Which was fine. But he called two days later and had the cables finished, and cheaper than anybody else could do it for. Highly recommended. Great guy great place.

The people which I assume are the owners, were very patient giving me technical information. I also loved their workshop’s office that is a little but very interesting museum!!!!
The repairing at my motorcycle was really well executed.

Called these guys to get my rear tire replaced. They had to order tire and it took a few days to get in. I was a huge pain and took like 2 weeks to get my bike in there. I dropped it off after business hours and they called me the next morning saying they had it done and under the estimate a bit. Will definitely use these guys in the future.

Darrin, by far has my up most trust to handle any of my motorcycle troubles. Best around by far, and I trust him to the fullest. Great shop!
