Custom Car Care

In August of 2012, I needed to trade in my car for a reliable vehicle with reasonably low mileage. My son, Matt, directed me to Pete Hettinger at Custom Auto Sales where he had purchased 2 vehicles.

Pete is wonderful to work with as he has experience and wisdom when it comes to autos and the buying process. I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Impala knowing I could trust in Pete as an honest, reliable business man who selects only prime autos for his customers.

This year it came time for me to consider a much newer car and I had done my research, deciding on a Toyota Corolla. Before I went to a dealer to test drive, I visited with Pete. He spent time with me looking online at vehicles, prices, rebates and helping me narrow down my selection.

Having his wisdom as I went to the dealer was a great foundation. Pete genuinely cares about people whether they are customers or friends.

Went in to sell my vehicle as I no longer needed two have two vehicles for just myself. I unknowingly showed up just after they had closed and the staff was nice enough to put me in touch with the owner whom just happened to still be in the area. Pete, the owner, came back to the shop and negotiated a sale with me. Excellent selling experience and if I was ever in need of car, I'd go to Custom Car Care. Wonderful experience.

I got an amazing deal on a used scooter and liked them so much I bought a car Theresa couple years later. I was nervous of a used car dealer but Pete, the owner/salesman, made me feel at ease. I noted his agriculture degree on the wall and he explained he had another career before he left to pursue his lifelong passion for automobiles. When I walked into the office/auto garage I couldn't help but feel I'd taken a step back in time to a neighborhood service station, which in reality, was exactly what it once was.
