My name is Waynette Ayers I live in Reno Nevada. But was born in Bloomington Illinois, so I was trying to get my birth certificate. And it took longer than normal. And I was freaking out! I asked to speak to a supervisor. And Regina came on the phone. I needed to go out of the country for surgery ( my life depends on it!) And she listened to me with compassion and she was personally going to go down to the post office and mail it to me herself! You can't get better customer service than that! But guess what today I got it!! Regina THANK YOU FOR BEING A HUMAN BEING FIRST! YOUR AMAZING! AND ILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!

They made me go on this wild goose chase to figure out what I’m supposed to do to pay a simple speeding ticket and go to the front office then they tell me oh, it’s the next half the building go all the way down to the hallway and take a left. I go there and they say oh no we don’t do that here you have to go to a building two blocks away when the officer that give me the ticket specifically said to go to the county clerks office, and told me the wrong amount that needs to be paid, I ended up paying 3 times more. So I’m not sure if the people who work there even know how to do their job.

The website is poorly designed and it is difficult to find necessary information. This reflects a general attitude that providing very clear and explicit information to constituents is not a priority. This office should work for the people-not make the people work for it.

Family court judges paid for by d.c.f.s. My child was taken from the Mom at 1 month old before I even knew I had a child. Took the court 6 months to do a d.n.a. test, took me a week. I had to move to Illinois from California and spent two years of my life there fighting to get my child with no criminal record and a great career in California so they could keep making money off my child. Heads up, if d.c.f.s. knocks on your door. MOVE!!! Those judges are paid for.

Most worthless employees in the entire world. I submitted a paper (as in not online a physical copy) motion to extend my fee deadline almost 2 months in advance. They LOST my paperwork. It took a month of me calling multiple times to figure out that it was lost. The third time I called someone put me on hold for 20 minutes, then came back and told me she had found my motion buried underneath a pile of paperwork on someone’s desk and that nobody had processed it yet. I just called back today and was trying to get an update again because it’s been almost another month since then. When I expressed my frustration to the employee I was talking to she told be she didn’t have to listen to me talk to her like that and that she was going to hang up. To which I responded by saying “you have a legal obligation to give me this information because it’s about my case, you can’t just decide not to do it because you’re upset so how about you just do your job” and she actually said “yes I can” and hung up the phone. Her name was Ashley by the way. She literally REFUSED to give me information on my case that I have a legal right to because she was upset that I didn’t have the nicest tone and I told them they had screwed things up by losing my paperwork. The American justice system at work people. A perfect shining example of how it’s completely broken and doesn’t work in the slightest.

Horrible that these people don’t know the first amendment! Shame on Kathy Michael!
