They did a great job. There was only a minor issue involving the o-ring leak for the oil change, but they took care of it ASAP and without hesitation (it happens; parts are faulty).
I went in for my 70k maintenance but also did the 80k maintenance as well. The entire maintenance was done in a day and without issues. The total cost was easily half what a Porsche service center would charge, and they did a great job. Yes, they had to order some parts, but it didn't take long and it wasn't a surprise.

They were amazing. They were already closed when I arrived wirh a VERY flat tire. They stopped what they were doing and put the spare on in a matter of minutes... no charge! Great customer service.

I received excellent and timely service from Baird's. Called on Monday and was able to bring my vehicle in to determine the problem with an oil leak. Problem was diagnosed and was able to get my vehicle repaired by the next morning. The mechanics took the extra step to check my battery on a 7 yr old vehicle and determined that I needed a new one. I was contacted to see if I wanted on oil change since I was close to needing one. The service manager also stated that a vacuum hose for the brake system looked like it was beginning to break open. Baird's proactively replaced and just charged the cost of the hose. As a "Boomer", I appreciated the proactive service on my vehicle. That demonstrated to me that Baird's cares about their customers. The battery check and vacuum hose replacement no doubt saved me a possible future break down. I would recommend Baird's Automotive and I will be a repeat customer.

My family has taken our cars to Baird's while at ISU and after graduation. We are from the Chicago area and travel to/from BLONO. We have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Honest people who provide you with realistic suggestions. We have never felt like we were being taken advantage of...and yes, I do compare costs. We have had situations where they told us the car was not worth repairing to repair options on an older car with safety in mind! Each situation was "urgent" from our perspective, but realistic as well. They have ALWAYS done their best to fit us in asap. As for the naysayers, appears to be a behavioral pattern by the customer. We are all human. If you treat people with respect, you get respect in return. Try a new approach next time. Simple. Thanks, Baird team!

It's funny, or maybe not - but if you look at all of the 1 star reviews here, you'll notice a trend; they're generally from fairly foul-mouthed, impatient, and unrealistic people. That's true on most reviews, really. "They lied to me! They cheated me! They're rude!".
Give me a break. My truck is at Baird's AS I WRITE THIS, and I've never used them before, yet I am CERTAIN I will only go to them for any future auto repair needs - EVER. I'm getting new front brake rotors and pads installed and their price was right in line with the marketplace - excluding the jacked-up dealership prices, of course. And here's the kicker - it's Friday morning, and I needed this work done as we're leaving for the weekend. When I called and related that to them after two other places hemmed and hawed about IF they could even do it (including one who wasn't even open yet at my 8 am appointment time!), Baird's took me in with kind, courteous, and professional arms. Ignore the naysayers. Baird's is the best BloNo has to offer, hands down. And trust me - I've given A LOT of my $$$ to that black hole, money-sucking group of repair shops over by Vernon & Towanda. I'll let you know if I feel any differently after I pick my truck up in a few hours. But I doubt I'll change my mind.

Baird's Auto saved me thousands of dollars. I initially went to the dealership because my car was revving up to 5,000 RPM's only going 20 miles an hour. They were quick to diagnose me as needing a brand new transmission costing $5,500. Wanting a second opinion, I took my car to Baird's and they looked more into the issue finding out that it wasn't in fact a transmission problem but a battery problem not giving enough energy to the other systems in my car. They were very quick to fix the issue and I had my car back very soon. I ended up saving a ton of money and time with them. Go to Baird's!!

Love them here. They actually explain what’s going on and do diagnostics to see the issue in totality! They offer creative solutions to car issues!

Nice, efficient, affordable. Great customer service, too; talked me through all the steps and services required. I got a flat tire and drove on it for a half mile (don't ever do this, stop as soon as it's safe) so the lug nuts were stuck.

Took my car, fixed in a day, new tires (it was about time to switch anyway), and changed oil (it was about time) as per my request.

Clean and beautiful; owner is a great guy.

My fiance has been getting her cars cared for at Baird's for several years now with absolutely no complaints. It was now my turn to have some work done on my car. I must say Larry and staff do fantastic work for a fair price. We will continue our business with Baird's as long as we're in the area. Fantastic local business, be sure to support them!

Excellent service, I definitely recommend!! Fit me in the same day (the same hour!) and checked my car when I had trouble on a long-distance road trip; everyone was very efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. Relatives also recommended this place to me based on years living in town. I would definitely go back again!

Baird’s does a great job with all of our car/truck repairs. They provide clear estimates and do a great job of explaining details. They are flexible in calling multiple numbers if one of us isn’t available! Their work is high quality.
