Fantastic! I ordered the grilled scallops, wife ordered the mussels and kids ordered the pasta w/ marinara and chicken fingers. Everything tasted great! Staff was friendly and accommodating; atmosphere was great! Highly recommended!

Small warm welcoming space in the heart of Bangor. Atmosphere is warm with modern sensibility. Nothing over the top of stuffy. Staff were friendly and fast. Clean and organized place with bar sitting and dining tables. The appetizers are as pretty much big as an entree.

I recommend any seafood, especially the mussels!

The food was delicious, well presented, and nicely portioned. Staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is cool. It's definitely not a pub nor a sports bar, it's a classy place to eat. Overall, I would definitely recommend going!

We celebrated my birthday here and I can't wait to go back. The steak was perfect and the service and atmosphere was lovely. The building used to be a bank and they kept some of the original architecture and its a fun and beautiful place to enjoy a meal.

Thank you for last night. It was a beautiful thing we shared. From the ambiance to the Black bear blue shine to the spinach strawberry salad to the lobster Alfredo, it was one fine idea from you after another. Your chef is working hard to bring elevated fresh food with an individual touch and I really appreciated the effort. And that’s not to say that my meat-and-potatoes partner didn’t find your burger divine, ‘cuz he did. Staff was attentive and quite pleasant even when one of our party sent back a meal, not charging us and reassuring us that you were only concerned that we enjoy our evening. You left us with a lovely impression of Bangor. Thank you!

We recently stopped in and had a great meal, with great service (Vanessa). Blackened halibut with chili lime shrimp and New York strip with blue cheese butter compound and jalapeño, bacon, gouda Mac & cheese!!

Delicious food, wife had the risotto w/ chicken , I had the chard scallops. Incredible draft beer from maine breweries selection. Try the double iPa ale. . . Swish.
We didn't have room, but squeezed in a lil chocolate mousse & vanilla creme Brule. Service was great. Sadly we dined with the whole restaurant to ourselves at 6 pm on a Wednesday. I've had enough of this pandemic & so have our local businesses so please do your part to support them.

Started off with a Margherita. Very very good. Main course. Amazing Ribeye with blue cheese compound butter. Finished off with a pistachio cake. Great food. Very clean and neat inside. Bathrooms clean. I would go back again.

The food was very good. The inside was clean and decorated nicely. The server was friendly and gave good recommendations on the menu. The Haddock tacos and the burger were very tasty.

Incredible food, drinks and dessert! The buffalo cauliflower was an amazing appetizer and the creme brulee was the best I've had. The fruity martinis were delicious also! It is such a beautiful space with a romantic mood. Highly recommend!

Very good ingridients. Food tastes very good. Wouldn't recommend for picky eaters. Suitable for a date night. The burger is super good. I definitely recommend it.

Best breakfast in the Bangor area! The atmosphere was fantastic and unique, decently priced breakfast and lunch, a bit pricey for dinner but may be worth it in the end. The waitress was very nice and accommodating as well.

The food was amazing, and you get plenty. The Lobster Alfredo had generous portions of 🦞 Parking was a bit of a juggle, but within walking distance of the restaurant.

Abit on the expensive side but worth it. Food was good and service was awesome. Glad I went there and I would give this place a michelin star if I could

We went for dinner and drinks, and everything was wonderful. We started with the mussels, which were cooked perfectly. He got the filet, which was tender and juicy. I got the scallops, which were perfectly pan seared, and the sauce was delicious. The service we had was great.

This afternoon we went for Mothers Day Dinner. We were greeted by the nicest hostess at the door. We had Charlotte as our waitress. Service was exceptional.
The food was the best I’ve had in Bangor. I’ve lived here 13 years and have never dined here. Now I think this will be the only place I dine. We were 5 people and all felt the same way. thanks to all of you for being there.

This place is delicious. I've only been here one time but the food that myself and my date ordered was delicious. I'm glad we went the specials in the drinks were nicely prepared. The inside is a little stale but clean and well lit. If you're looking for high quality food, this is definitely a place you need to check out with a menu and chefs that know what they're doing.

Fantastic food and great service. Had a superb Ahi Tuna that was delicious! Wonderful place to eat.

Coming from KC to Maine it's been super hard to find good food. Lobster this lobster that, some people don't care. Can you cook a steak? We've tried lots of places some ok but Evenroods blew our mind! That was hands down the best New York strip I've ever had. I did not want to stop eating it. Every bite my eyes just rolled as my mind said (perfection). Service and atmosphere was top notch, they new it was my wife's birthday and reserved us the most quaint spot in the vault so we could have privacy. Summation look no further for a classy, well ran restaurant that makes food to perfection. What a perfect night.
