Hellenic Coney Island

I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. Hellenic is a great place to eat. The food is always good. This is my place to stop everytime I'm in town. I've been going since before they moved into this new location. The portion size is not the same. I normally order the small chicken greek salad but this time I ordered a large. To me it is the same size as the small. It's just spread out over a bigger container. I didn't take a pic of the salad because I didn't eat it the same day and forgot. It was good and I will be back but I won't pay the extra money for the large... I'll stick to the small.

Great food and service, gyro had great flavor with a soft and grilled pita, Greek salad had all the right stuff and great dressing, and the lemon rice soup was just right. One of the better coney’s in the area.

Good food, clean and comfortable place to eat. The staff is very friendly and my turkey pita was freshly made and delicious. I'll be going back for another lunch very soon.

Great little coney. Good coffee and good spinach pie! Staff was very pleasant as well as attentive. We'll definitely be returning.

I'm biased, I've been going here or its original location for close to 40 years. Huge menu, all well executed. Feels like there was a staff or management turn over in the last year but quality stayed consistent. It's a Coney so don't go in expecting Michelin quality food or service but for a Coney it is top notch. Good people and good food, a great neighborhood restaurant.

Great grilled chicken pita. Best homemade French fries. Clean atmosphere and good quality food.

Had lunch here. Very good. Everyone was friendly. Order water, beverages are expensive.

You can always get a meal quickly. Good service and fast service. They also have a very busy takeout business.

I go to Hellenic EVERYTIME I'm in the area for a Chicken Greek Salad with shredded cheese not feta, tomatoes, onion, chickpeas, beets, and their signature dressing. They never want to sub my cucumbers, only complaint. This time I had family so we sat and ate. Omelet for my little one and chicken pita for hubs. I had chili fries with frozen fries (you can get fresh skin on as well). Our server was pretty dope too!

Our waitress was great! The chicken stir fry with the Greek dressing on the side was amazing. The waitress suggested it, and I'm so glad she did. Clean restaurant, food came out so quick, and service was so good. 10/10 👌👌

I've been coming to eat here since high school, when they were at their old location. The food is still good, the people are still friendly and the prices are reasonable.

This hot chicken salad was absolutely delicious I will be going back here at least once a week to get this and the service was great

I have been patronizing this establishment since I was a kid when it was located in it's original location. Part of my scoring maybe influenced by nostalgia, but it is clean, well run, family owned and the food is delicious. The Chicken Greek Salad is legendary.

I love this place. Everybody inside is so nice and I always get great service. I have never gotten anything nasty from here everything is good. A little pricey for a coney island but its worth it.

They said they're famous for their chicken Greek salad and they did NOT lie. It's the dressing for me that makes it worth buying. Love it!!

Wow! Just stopped in and got the meat lovers omelette and it was amazing. The meats were cooked perfectly, and the eggs were not burnt at all. Awesome value for $10. Will def be back.

I popped in for a Greek salad and it was the best I've ever had! The chicken was chopped, veggies fresh, and the salad dressing had excellent flavor. I now know where to turn to when I get the urge for Greek 🥗.

Oh my goodness!!! You have to get the Hot (heated) pasta salad with chicken, onion and tomatoes. Comes with a house made Greek dressing, warm pita bread and garlic sauce. Excellent!!! 💯

We always buy an extra bottle of dressing. A great taste!!! A very nice and friendly staff. $ - $$
