National Coney Island

The coneys here were soooo good. Loved the snap of the hot dogs. Much preferred just the regular coney in comparison to the "special". The fries were top tier. Service could have been more attentive

Best Coney Island restaurant in Michigan! The staff is super nice, place is clean and super cool. The coney dogs are amazing and their loaded fries are a must. You can even get frozen chili packs as I did and brought it back to California. Make sure to get their amazing Sander’s hot fudge puff ice cream for dessert. You can thank me later.

Honestly, not a fan of the chili, but I'm from the Southwest so that's not a surprise. Kim was a great waitress & the place was exactly as described by friends from here. I'd certainly come back, but not for the Coney. They also have a great rewards member program.

I have been coming to this location since the nineties.
Every visit is rock solid. I came in here on Thanksgiving Day, and they were open until two. So I saddled up to the counter and ordered up Chicken and Chips and lemon Rice Soup with Tea. I don't recall the lady working the counter but she was awesome. Great customer service. Ingot my food its was good. I don't think that I have ever had a bad experience here.

The poster child of Coney Island restaurant's. So many comfort foods sold here. I love the chicken lemon rice soup and the original hani sandwiches. Servers are always friendly and service is quick

Somehow I must have pocket rated 1 star. It was an error. Food was good server was friendly shakes were delicious. Great experience.

There were 9 of us. Did not edit very long for the table.Server was great,,! Took very good care of all of us.

I honestly love their fries especially their waffle fries with ranch!!! Oh my gosh it's great, they have great Hanis and the B.L.T.'s are okay. But yeah they have great food, and staff is very friendly.

As a former Michigander I crave National Coney Island cheese fries anytime I visit. Today I had the original Hani with Cheese Fries. This location in Royal Oak was always a go to spot for me a couple of decades ago and still remains a hot spot to get your Coney fix years later. The old diner feel, great service and the same great taste I grew to love. Stop in and enjoy.

I crave for Coney’s here every time I visit from N Michigan. My Pops and I never pass this place up and make it a first choice for a great meal.

Their lemon rice soup is amazing. It took me back to the lemon rice soup that I ordered at this beloved restaurant that was in Kalamazoo called Theo& Stacey's.

Also your waitress was sweet and gave great service. I think her name was something close to Rhe

Love this place, fast service, open 24 hours, and a easant staff. I had a gyro and the potato bacon soup. Both were delicious. My son had the kids Mac & cheese with oranges, and he ate every single bite with enjoyment. Menu has lots of other great options as well as breakfast all day!!! You just can't lose. Photo of my sons plate for proof. We will come back!!!

Classic Coney Island restaurant with great menu, good service & prices.
Occasional Breakfast there and always satisfied.
Lunch & Dinner more often.
My problem is Coneys, Gryros, or Dinner Salad.
Usually get a Coney & a Gyro.

This is a great place! The atmosphere is amazing, the food is really good. They have lamb gyros, somewhat rare in Detroit nowadays. The wait staff was so helpful and understanding when I had a little trouble with my credit card. I'm going back for sure.
