Eric's Repair

Brought in my 81 DeLorean for some engine repair. Excellent communication, pictures, and pricing. It is clear to me that Eric's Repair staff actually care about customers and cars. Great work!

We've been bringing our cars here for years, and the service has always been incredible. I love how they communicate what they find through pictures and email, rating issues so I can understand what's critical or not to fix. We've needed some pretty significant fixes and the prices have always seemed fair, although at this point even if they weren't the lowest I would keep going to Eric's simply for their quality of service.

I had big problems with my vehicle that turned out to be impossible to diagnose. Eric spent countless hours and resources trying to figure out the issue (I am not exaggerating about the countless hours). In the end, the engine was a loss and I had to sell the vehicle as basically junk. The empathy that Eric and his team showed for my situation was incredible as well as his fairness in price for all the work he had done. He even helped me sell the truck after all was said and done. I'm not sure there's a better shop in the twin cities - fair, honest, skilled, and compassionate.

I worked with Eric & Rick and they were great! You receive a detailed estimate along with pictures of the area needing repair. They evaluate it fairly when going through the vehicle and don’t apply pressure. I also appreciated that they were willing to answer my questions and investigate finding a part at a salvage yard. This shop has been my go to mechanic in the bloominton area, they are always completely honest, never try to oversell or tack on additional fees. I have trusted them with everything from alignments to entire engine replacements. They have you covered. Worth the wait to use them. Would highly recommend!

Eric’s was able to “shoehorn” us in when my wife’s vehicle would not start. They were pretty busy but had the diagnosis by the end of the day and the car was back in our possession the next afternoon. Great service and attention, as always!

Eric's is great. I've had nothing but amazing things to say about them and their customer service. You can tell honesty is an integral part of their company values. My first experience was a vehicle I purchased (2014 F150) that I bought that had a notorious issue in it's timing chain system. After bringing it in for the diagnosis, they were honest in explaining what my options were, and that repairing the issue would have been simply kicking the can down the road in needing to do it again another day.
In another experience, I asked them to flush and refill the transmission fluid on my truck. The technician pulled up the maintenance guide from the manufacturer, and confirming by looking at the fluid itself, that the service was not necessary. In both cases, Eric's and their employees were honest, and did not try and up-sell me on repairs that could have been very expensive.

Ericks Repair has always been there for me when I needed major repairs to my work truck.
Rick at the desk is very helpful to me as well when I need updates on their progress.
I do have other friends that do mechanical work out of there garages and when they know they’re limitations they tell me to take my vehicle to Ericks Repair!

I’ve been trying to find a good car shop since moving back from San Diego a year ago. I first brought my car to a chain that tried to upcharge and do work that didn’t need to be done. Since then I was a little wary of bringing my car anywhere in fear of price gouging. A year later I decided I needed to get some overdue maintenance done, and I came across Eric’s Repair.

After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Very happy with my decision! Dennis was the one working on my car, and he explained everything thoroughly on what needed to be fixed today and what could wait. He also gave me a couple of suggestions on things I can fix on my own that’ll be cheaper than getting it done at a shop. Rick at the front desk was very helpful with answering questions over the phone, and was very kind in person too!

The shuttle service is super neat as well and saved me a few bucks on Ubers to and from from the shop. 10/10 highly recommend Eric’s Repair!

I moved to Bloomington . I regrettably had to leave my trusted mechanic of 8 years behind. I own a suburu and asked on “Next Door”for recommendations. Erics came up frequently. This is my second oil change and they throughly inspect the car and I did get to speak to the mechanic about a possible small gasket leak but he made note of it and will check it next time I come in. Everyone is friendly and I liked the mechanic I was able to speak directly to. Erics seems honest and I will continue to take my business there.

I have lots of trust in Eric's Repair. What I have found if I get something in my car fixed there, it will be done to their high standards.
