Festival Foods

Have only shopped here three times, however, my experience is enough to make me switch to this as my regular grocery store. Every single employee I have interacted with has been helpful and courteous. If I ask where to locate something, they will take me there, rather than just give directions. The fish counter guy is super helpful and always answers any questions I have. Same with the deli staff and the staff overseeing the self checkout. Groceries are good quality and reasonably priced. So happy to find this store!

This is a wonderful smaller neighborhood market. It's never overly-busy...and...offers a decent selection of items. It is a smidge pricier than some of its competitors on some things but...nothing outrageous. I've also noticed they are cheaper on some big ticket items than the chain stores are...so...it balances out. They have some harder-to-find things that I don't usually see at other grocery stores. They offer many local brands...as well as...'fancier' items. Something for everyone...and...every taste. Also...they have the freshest produce. Nothing ever looks wilted...or...damaged. They have a deli counter...meat counter with some really interesting displays of meat/fish...and...also a bakery onsite. Their baked goods are some of the best as far as grocery store fare goes. I love that they have a wide variety of in-house baked breads...particularly the sourdough. The donuts are divine but...sell out fast...so be there early for the best selection. There is also a full-service sit-down restaurant - Taste of Scandinavia - inside. The food is priced fair...and...is very delicious. The staff is amazing. MANY have worked there for decades...and...recognize regular customers. They are so friendly...and...helpful...in all departments. I like that they have a person who bags your groceries. It's not a difficult task but...sometimes...it's nice to not have to do it. Amirite? ;) There is a drive-up grocery pick-up in the front of the store if you need assistance getting your groceries into your car. This is a saving grace for many of the elders who live in this neighborhood. They don't use cart corrals so...make sure you return your cart to the inside of the store if you take it out to your car. We will always shop here...and...continue to recommend it.

Great store. Very good meat department with full service. About the the only place that I found that will run a flank steak through their meat tenderizing machine for making Cuban steak. Lunds/ Byerlys tells me that their machines got old and they decided not to replace them.

Lovely grocery store. They always have the local items, I'm searching for. If I were a local, I would shop here weekly.

This is nice cozy spot to carry on casual conversations. The food is well prepared delicious, portion size is just right. The wait staff friendly, cheerful helpful attentive and they keep your coffee cup full.

Thank you for helping me pick up some flowers for my grandma. She loved it ( she barely ever like things ) but this time she genuinely like it. This store has awesome people and great products !

Not your ordinary grocery store it's more for gourmet shopping and efficient service. I frequent this store because the staff, cashier's and management are very courteous and helpful they have a grocery pick up available if you set it up online and they even help assist you taking your bags to the car if possible. Overall I'm a very picky eater so I like that they carry all name brand items and keep current on stock. Competitive prices and monthly specials.

I was here yesterday. I had AMAZING customer service. I ordered a cake and the ladies were very helpful. Then when I used the self checkout I had a small problem, but the lady was so friendly and helpful. I wish I would of got all 3 ladies names. Thank you so much!!!

These guys are so fun. The cashiers know so many people by name and are always friendly towards my kids. Feels like a small town grocer but also has really good food at reasonable prices. And you can’t beat the convenience!

I went to the bakery for one specific item I wanted to bring my family for supper. I couldn't find it and asked for help. The bakery worker was extremely helpful. She went to another part of the store to get what I wanted. I appreciated her wonderful service.

Clean store. Very helpful and friendly staff who know the meaning of the words "customer service." For the most part, products are reasonably price. Some are little high compared to the competition, but having a great staff makes up for the difference. Recommend highly.

Festival Foods workers are are very courteous. They go the extra miles to make sure you are well served. The seafood sales are awesome. We like going here to support the local merchant instead of supporting the Target or WalMart.

Even though it's more spend than cub it's still my go to grocery store. The bakery is just amazing (my downfall). I will admit that their berries are a bit hit or miss. Otherwise their produce is great quality.

I own a nail salon in East Bloomington, near Mall of America & I often go here to support the business here and its staff. I like it that this place always have the nicest people to bag my groceries and even offer to take them out to my car. How nice, right? I mean, where else can you find a place that goes the extra miles nowadays? That's why I'll always support this Festival Foods & their nice employees, as long as I live in Bloomington here.

This is one of the nicest grocery stores. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Their produce is always fresh, their meat is good quality and their bakery is awesome!!! Plus, they bag your groceries.

I really liked shopping here. I go to TJ, coop and Lunds. Festval was a pleasant experience when it was most convenient. I got food, flowers, graduation cards, gifts and cash. They were very friendly when I had to exchange a damaged merchandise.

I gotta say, and I wish I can emphasize any harder. FRESHEST LARGESCALE MARKET IN BLOOMINGTON. The employees are always amiable and willing to help answer any question in any department. I come here just about every day for the last 2 and a half years. My favourite employee is a sweet lady who's name is Cindy, because she always compliments my daughter and she is a very diligent worker, and just a good lady you can look forward to seeing when you shop here.

The layout of the store is much different than Cub Foods, but these fine folks at festival work very hard to make sure our shopping experience is without a doubt, the apogee of grocery shopping experiences.

P.S. That deli is an oasis of readily available comfort foods.
