We had a great time. It was packed but still comfortable to swim and enjoy the activities. Our room was perfect for 1 adult and 5 kids! We had a room inside our room with bunk beds and a separate TV. Will definitely be staying again!

My family had an absolute blast. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. You could tell they were willing to go out of their way to make the stay awesome. We had a crazy amount of family all staying, I think 18 of us all together and they managed to get us a table at the Campfire restaurant that would seat us all. Another employee gave my 3 year old a card to play some extra games at the arcade. They kept the building meticulously clean and made sure all of the games and everything were stocked and running properly. The only complaint I have, and it's a very small one, is that some of the life guards aren't as friendly as the rest of the staff. They'd blow their whistle if they saw you doing something wrong but then they wouldn't always tell you what you needed to stop doing or change. This definitely didn't affect our stay too much and overall we had SO much fun. Already planning our next trip!

I find that all of the activities at "The Great Wolf Lodge" are really fun, and the food there us also really good. The room I'm staying is also very spacious and has a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. Almost like staying at a really cozy cabin. I also find it cool that the TV also gives you the option to use apps, like Netflix, to watch movies and shows (if you're interested in using the apps there), and it gives you the option to choose what kind of channels you want, whether movies or shows etc. I was a little nervous about the wristband keys, but, after seeing just how resilient the wristband keys are, I really find it cool and very advanced. Most of the staff are also really nice, especially this one very polite guy who is very welcoming and helpful towards newcomers from, especially ones from Canada. Really great place to stay for a vacation.

When you consider the price of the waterpark attached to the rooms, which are large and accommodating to families with small kids, the price is reasonable. We had a great time at the waterpark, they have attractions for kids and adults of all ages. Food and bars on site. Very clean and exactly what we needed to have the kids have fun and relax with a cold beverage for the “Watering Hole”! Will stay again, maybe extend the stay and visit neighboring Mall
Of America and the Nickelodeon Universe!!!

We bought some pup passes for our kids while we there and the service we received in accessing all that came with that was top notch! Practically held our hand, it was great. Nothing special about the rooms, they are what you would expect. Being near the mall of America is convenient and easy to access. They have an on site pizza place that makes decent pizza for a decent price and the arcade was a lot of fun for the kids. The overall trip was a bit spendy but all in all was worth it.

If you have kids this is the place. There are definitely some spots that will get ya for your money so go in mind that you'll be spending money here. The staff were the absolute best Ive ever encountered at any hotel before. The place was also so clean. There were people mopping and cleaning 24/7. Room was super cute with the bunk beds. Not sure if they all have bunk beds we didn't know ours included one. The app has all the hours of everything and all the extra stuff going on like dance partys, crafts, and character appearances.
Food was okay. Staffs kindness and friendlyness was outstanding at all places we ate. Dunkin was a mess in the morning. Long wait if you want anything besides donuts. Do a mobile order for hot food and coffee there or you'll be irritated. Staff was still friendly through rushes. Ice cream place banged out a huge line at 9 after dance party.
The only major complaint I would have is on the smaller slides in the kiddy area of the water park it is only one rider slides. Parents cannot ride with there kids and the slides are very fast. Free lifejackets so that helps. But we watched a few kids not be able to go on the slides because they're toddlers and they were too fast. My kiddo was 2 and she was okay only because of the lifejacket. Just be aware of it.
Overall great experience. The staff really did an A+job. Great place for kids. Will be back.

Went to Great Wolf Lodge in the summer for the first time with my kids and it was a great first trip as a family.

The first thing I noticed while entering the hotel was the automatic doors didn’t work which was a bit disappointing as I to push a stroller along with our luggage. The doors did get fixed though, on our last day of our trip which is a positive.

During check in, I was helped by Mike and he was very helpful and friendly. He got us checked in smoothly and in a timely manner.

The rooms were nice and clean. The bunk bed suite seemed roomy to me.

Every time we’d enter/leave our hotel room or head down to the lobby area. There was always employees sweeping, mopping or cleaning. It’s nice how this hotel takes pride in their cleanliness.

I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking to plan a trip with young kids or kids in general.

There’s so much activities to do at this hotel, and the dance party would probably have been my favorite highlight - as well as their big water park, if you download the GWL app it’ll tell you the schedule of the activities they have daily.

I usually don’t do too many reviews, but I wanted to let Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington Minnesota know how great our stay was. The staff were super friendly, and I wanted to give a huge shout out to the life guards. They were all very vigilant, walking back and forth, watching all the children. I was impressed with these life guards as they were 100% doing their jobs well! I watch my kids, but it does make me feel better knowing they have terrific life guards on staff that are amazing! We will definitely be back!

We love this place! Best time to go is Sunday through Wednesday because they are less busy. They also have fun activities going on in the lobby area that are free. The o ly thing we didn't like was the prices of the food there. A kids meal was $10. That adds up when you have three kids and two adults. Otherwise all the staff were in a good mood and nice to us. We felt very welcomed and safe. Best life guards of any Waterpark I've been to!

Probably the nicest hotel we've stayed at with our kids! Very clean, friendly staff, & more than enough space in the rooms. We stayed for one night & it was just enough for us. Our room was on the 7th floor & it was pretty quiet except for when the heater kicked on in the room during the night it was a bit loud but tolerable. The water temperature in the waterpark was warm & I thought the lifeguards were attentive. I have been to other hotel waterparks where the lifeguard staff was on their cellphones but didn't see that once here so I was impressed with that! Food is overpriced but we planned ahead & brought our own. The arcade isn't worth it but we enjoyed all of the other activities. We also brought our own pool towels which I would recommend doing. Overall we loved it & had a great time! We plan on coming back!

This trip.was for my son's birthday. The room was very cute with bunk beds. The wave pool was fun. The lazy river was great. The kids area was great for my 7 yr old.

Easy to get to. Rooms were nice. The kids liked the bunk beds. Cool to have a "resort" right in the middle of the big city. Employees were friendly. Staff was constantly cleaning the spotless floors in the lobby. We ate at one of the on site restaurants. Food was a tad spendy but quite good. Plenty of pools and slides, etc. to keep everyone busy. Don't park under the waterslides when temps are sub zero, lol. We'll be back.

First off, be prepared to spend a lot of money. A LOT of money. Even during the so-called off season months. Watch out, the fees add up.

However, the rooms are designed toward families with children. They even have room with “bunk rooms”, holding 4 bunk beds (or 8 single beds), plus a queen sized bed in the outer, general, room.

They’re also set up so that you can prepare as many meals as you wish inside the room. You get a mini-fridge (no useless freezer) with a small pantry above it. There’s also a sink area with cpunterspace outside the bathrooms. (The bathroom has a sink, too.)

The water park is included from the time you check in through the entire next day. Be aware that you must walk past numerous eye-catching stores, activities, food vendors and arcade machines to get there. They also have a rope climbing activity (not included), but we didn’t try it.

The water park is VASTLY improved since the last time I came. There are lifeguards everywhere, and they aren’t hesitant about blowing whistles. We had a great time, and we were a group aged 8 months to 70 years

Centrally located in Twin Cities next to the Mall of America. This Great Wolf Lodge is definitely not as big as the Wisconsin Dells but it's close to the metro and it has a little bit of everything! We got a really good package deal which I strongly recommend to stay overnight in the hotel rather than just hitting the waterpark without the stay. Because the waterpark ticket can be high as $75 over holidays and with our room package for 4 people is only about $275 (taxes and fees included). Plus you get a lot more play time (2 full days) and we can enjoy the waterpark until they close at 8pm (other activities open until 10pm). The facility is very clean compared to other waterparks the same size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Use their app to find free events through out the day. The y got enough activities to keep kids busy outside of the waterpark. There is only one negative thing is they do NOT have the hot tub/ jacuzzi in the waterpark.... And that's the only thing I enjoy while kids go play.... I'm very surprised for waterpark this size doesn't have the hot tub and very disappointed 😔 So unless they can add that in the future I'm better off going to other waterparks near by that I can relax in the jacuzzi 😊 lastly, the food and drinks are overpriced, you better off getting food from outside and there as plenty of good choices around the hotel.

We stayed at their place for a day and for sure we enjoyed our time.
Our room was perfectly comfortable and comfortable.
They let us check in early on Friday and gave us our room which is not happening in all the hotel and we were really appreciated for this reason.
We tried their restaurant for Buffet Breakfast 2times and they had various options and all delicious and fresh.
We also for sure used their waterpark. Since we went in the park on Friday morning, it wasn’t too crowded, but I was seeing on Saturday morning it was pretty packed. (If you can avoid it 😊)
Overall we enjoyed our time and for sure we go back in the future.

The staff here is phenomenal. We stayed overnight for a sweet 16 party with 17 people. The only hiccups we had were with their automated systems: the wristband locking us out of our room at 11:00 even though we'd payed for a 2:00 checkout, my wristband not working at the kiosks, and one really weird incident where I scanned the "order food for pick up" barcode on a poster by the bathroom, but it placed the order in Wisconsin? There was no option to select a location, it just went right to an order screen, an apparently this is a problem they've been having? But the staff was super quick to fix things, they were all patient and kind. You could tell the customer service there is a culture.

When you go to places like this, you're juggling kids. It's loud, it's overstimulating, you're tired and there's lots of moving parts, and they seem to really understand that.

The rooms are meh. They're dim, the blankets are super scratchy and uncomfortable, but the pillows and sheets were fine and the mattresses too. It gets the job done for what you're there for. This isn't a luxurious vacation.

I recommend bringing snacks and bottled water/juice/soda for the kids. Everything here is expensive. I also think the cabana is worth the price, especially if it's a Saturday. Sunday was much less busy but Saturday you couldn't find an empty chair to sit on if you tried. The cabanas have outlets, a small fridge, a TV, and comfortable seating as well as privacy if you need to change a diaper or change clothes.

Such an awesome place! First time here and definitely coming back. Staff are nice and welcoming. There's arcade, food, and shops. A great and cheap way to get away and have good family time. But come early, it is VERY pack! Definitely will come back for another family vacation. 💯🗣

We came down from Canada with our kids to stay here. It's a tad bit expensive but the hotel has lots to offer. We bought the wolf passes which was a good investment as far as what it has to offer. The water park was amazing. The kids loved the wave pool the lazy river was a nice break from the water slide stairs. Rooms were adequate with lots of amenities.

Jaylen (17ish) at the howlers peak rope course was 1000% amazing and went above and beyond to help my daughter do something she was afraid of. He deserves any promotion available. He refused my tip (policy apparently) and went about his work with grace. It is appreciated and he should be recognized for it.
