We had a good experience. We will be returning to try more. Service is great, but the place is very small. Food was fresh and had great flavor. I was really in the mood for real rice and beans and this place hit the spot perfectly. We Definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't.

You know a place is good when there is a wait to get in. This is the second time we have been here and we have had great experiences both times. The food is fresh and hot. The staff is happy and helpful.

The chimichanga is my personal favorite.

One of the best Enchiladas I have had in my life!! The chef was also very polite and explained everything patiently to my Jain friend. Loved their sauce in both the enchiladas I ordered. Must visit!!

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ST. GEORGE. This place is a quaint little restaurant and it’s some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Whenever we visit St. George we hit up this spot. Only downside is it’s closed Mondays. But if you’ve never been here before it’s a must hit spot. The rice and beans are delicious. 6/6 people in our party were happy with their meal. Portions are generous. The only downside is the pork carnitas doesn’t come with enough tortillas. So I’d suggest ordering an extra on the side.

"Don't judge the book by its cover" applies. This cantina is on a street corner like an ordinary single home. Painted in yellow and with a semi enclosed front yard with various potted plants and resin picnic benches under a big tree..
Inside is a typical Mexican decors. The walls and windows were decorated with silk flowers geckos and some colorful fa rugs. The tables were covered with printed plastic table cloth.
The owner, who is the main cook, goes around to check the customers. Service is fast. Food are done the right way as it should be. The flavors you expect for an authentic Mexican food is served.
We ordered Mulita Chicken, Mole Poblano chicken, Tilapia Fish Taco and Shrimp Burrito with green Salsa.
Chips and salsa were served while you wait.
Prices are very reasonable.
Single restroom available.

Came here as we were in St George for a couple days and saw this place has great reviews. Well it was even better than I thought. It's truly home made Mexican food. In fact it even looks like an actual home was turned into the restaurant. But still it was clean, affordable and the service was great. I had the chicken mole and it was the bomb as you will see pictured. I will definitely be back and highly recommend. If you want authentic home cooked Mexican food this is the place. 😁👍👍

First time here but this little mom 'n pop restaurant is a MUST visit in St. George! Dare I say they were the BEST CHEESE ENCHILADAS with red sauce I've ever had! The Mexican rice had good flavor. The salsa was flavorful without being spicy. This place was delicious. We're so glad we trusted the reviews and visited here!

Incredible. Absolute gem. We found this by chance when we were looking for somewhere off the highway to stop for lunch. The staff are so friendly and I ate the best fajitas of my life. Free nachos with salsa as an entree, and generous portions. There is beautiful artwork on the walls handwoven in Mexico. It's always the spontaneous, unplanned stops that turn out to be the best on a trip. Just a lovely, homely place.

One of the best Fajitas out there, just a little over bit crease but everything was right on, I liked the atmosphere like you're eating at home, one thing missing was Mexican music

The best Mexican food place in Southern Utah! You can't go wrong with the menu it is all 10/10!! They even have a few secret menu items that are top notch. Great service great food, you can't go wrong! It can get busy though and does no have much seating.

Fed a family of six here, including two kids under ten. The dining room is small but the welcome was warm and they made space and got us right in. Everyone found something on the menu that they wanted, which can be hard with this crew. Menu options are interesting. My daughter got the Coloradito Enchiladas, a selection that hard to find where we live. I ordered the Amarillo Enchiladas, also unique for us. They were amazing. The others ordered more traditional dishes and everyone was very happy with their food. No complaints, everything about our visit was wonderful.

Oh baby! This is one of those Mexican wonders. The men in the kitchen are fun to watch. The women taking orders are fantastic. Fast, fresh, and very good food! You’ll need a to-go box.

Quality Mexican food in Saint George! We had a family dinner here and the food was fantastic. Everyone was happy with their choices. The service was great. We arrived a little on the early side for dinner and by the time we left his place was packed. I now know why- this is a must try Mexican restaurant if you are in town. The pork was a favorite.

My wife and I were visiting and stopped at this cute little house turned restaurant and the staff were so friendly and quick and made an excellent recommendation for me which was the beef enchilada platter with this amazing green sauce and my wife got the burrito mojado and boy was it good. Probably the best Mexican food either of us have ever had. My only regret is that I got one enchilad instead of two but my wife's giant burrito helped fill the gap. Left happy and full. I'll definitely be coming back if we ever visit and will recommend it to anyone I can.

I love this little place! The food is great quality and authentic mexican food. We tried three dishes today.. the enchiladas, the casadillas and the fajitas... all were authentic and excellent. The service was friendly and amazingly fast. Irmita's has certainly stepped up their game. Their menu is huge too... lots to choose from.

The food was really good. I ordered the asada plate. I always enjoy the chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants but theirs was not my favorite. The salsa was a bit runny for my liking. Other than that I enjoyed the place and will go back.

Food and service were EXCELLENT! Highly recommend! We got a mulita, chimichanga, shrimp enchiladas and nachos.. I am craving them all already. The red and green salsas were also delicious! Can't wait to come back.

We are from Az, so are used to really good Mexican food. The beef chimichanga was great- with chopped carne asada, beans and rice inside. There was a crema and avocado cream (not guacamole) on top. The mole chicken with fresh, hot corn tortillas was one of the best we’ve had. Tender thigh meat and a flavorful mole that wasn’t too sweet. The atmosphere is cute like we were in their kitchen- with a 9-10 four tops, cute plastic table cloths and bright colorful decorations. One note- they do not have a liquor license.

One of the highest rated in St. George. This is probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. It is in an old house off Bluff Street and I was surprised. It is very authentic with great flavor. The chips are store bought and not good. They charge for extra chips. The service was not great but they are short staffed and very friendly. I say…. definitely going back.
