Judd's Store

This is a must-see in St. George! My kids love visiting here for the yummy breadsticks and ice cream. I love all the vintage candy and knowing I'm supporting a historic business. Surprisingly, this is also a fantastic lunch spot! Probably the best soup in town and craveable sandwiches. It's a bit pricey, but it makes everyone feel like a kid in a candy store again.

Great candy and ice cream store. Had to have an RC cola cause my last name is Arce....😆😆😆......shared ice cream with my grandson and the bread sticks were awesome too. We'll go back when I visit again and thank you to the store owners for having us!!!❤

The oldest business in St. George. As I was told by one of the workers this store is 111 years old as of 2022. Great little store with ice cream, bottled drinks and old time candy. Perfect location and stop if you at the splash pad/ river right in the middle of time. The employee were nice and helpful. The store isn’t big but they get you in and out quickly. Great treat shop.

One of my favorite places in Saint George if not my favorite! I’ve been going to Judds since I was 13 years old! From old fashion nostalgic candy and glass soda to wild kinds from all over, Judds will keep your taste buds dancing and eyes fixed gazing on all the options! I love their soups, breadsticks and of course all the sweets! The vibe and ambiance is beyond perfect! It’s a must visit especially if you have kids!

A MUST stop in St. George! We Literally come here every time in the area! There food is incredible, but the Candy and Sodas are the BEST! SO MANY CHOICES! Adults, prepare to be transported back in time! You will LOVE it!

A variety of treats in a charming, historic store. It feels a little like a local history museum with the nostalgia and well-worn woodwork. It has some hard-to-find candy and soda, but it's not all sweets. The bread sticks are soft and savory and can be ordered with one of a few kinds of soups. If you want to stay out of the heat, there are a few tables with chairs inside; if you prefer outside, there is a single bistro table.

What a fun experience! You feel like you walk back in time a little bit when you walk up and enter the shop. I think it's perfect that this shop has a cross walk in front of it. Great location. Staff was friendly and excited to show me all the awesome goodies. Made a grab bag of random candies an took it home to my wife. She loved it! I found my new place to have to reasom to go to on the fly. 😂

Like walking through time, this small slice of bygone days was a delight to the eyes and easy on the pocket book. The chowder made for an easy lunch option paired with an old time soda pop and a pack of Necco wafers. A must visit in St George!

Amazing candy store near downtown St. George. The staff is super friendly and they have a great variety of sweets, drinks and food including soups and breadsticks. We love to stop whenever we are in town!

Judd’s General Store is the oldest ongoing establishment in St. George. In 1908, pioneer businessman Thomas Judd purchased a home that had been built in 1876, from Joseph Bentley. Just a few years later in 1911, Judd built a store out of adobe bricks in front of the home. The Bentleys had been operating a small store out of the home and Thomas Judd purchased their inventory to open his store.

The store sold general merchandise to locals, many of whom were sheep and cattle ranchers. This included dry goods, groceries, hay, grain, and even clothing. After Thomas Judd’s death in 1922, the store passed to his son Joseph and then to his grandson Tom Jr. The store remained in the Judd family until 1982, and was the oldest family-owned business in St. George.

This is a fun candy, ice cream, and soda shop. They had a variety of old fashion treats that you can’t find everywhere. I felt like a kid again seeing candy I hadn’t seen in years. It is defiantly a fun family friendly shop. Kids of all ages will enjoying going to Judd’s Store.

Cute old-fashioned store with a variety of bottled soda and candies. They offer sundaes, shakes, shaved ice, and ice cream. Great customer service and right across the street from the town square splash pad.

Great little shop. Pretty expensive but a fun place to bring your kids.

Fun little place in the middle of the busy city. Right next to the St George's children's museum. If you need a quick snack or ice cream or exotic sodas.

We love Judd's store! Ice cream, ginger ale, old fashioned candy you can't find anywhere else. It's the sweetest spot, pun intended, in St. George. It's a place rich with history, perfect for your sweet tooth. It's usually busy when it's open, but it is worth the wait. The staff are very friendly.

I grew up going here when I was in grade school when I started going to Judd's. Judd's is well over 100 years old. They have amazing soups and breadsticks, ice cream, vintage candy and sodas. It's a fun old fashioned place anybody will enjoy

Judd's is a favorite of our family. We love stopping in when we visit St. George. The candy brings back memories for us and it is fun to share with our kids.
