Geno’s is not just a barber shop…it’s an experience. The classic feel as soon as you walk through the door and are greeted to sitting down on the authentic comfy plush chair and great conversation it’s a complete vibe. I have had my hair cut and shave by each of the barbers and they all have high experience and listen to exactly what you want. Richie is my personal favorite. Great location and good prices highly recommend to anyone.

I’ve been going to Geno’s Barberia for 6 years. I have long hair that requires scissors only. I’ve been going to Richie for years and most recently Besi based on scheduling, but frankly I’ve seen all the guys cut hair and they’re all fantastic. They take their time listen to what you want and are experts. Even during Covid when I moved out of nyc I was figuring out ways to get back to Geno’s because they do such a good job. Highly recommend.

Go see Besi he is the best. He cares a lot about delivering exactly what you want. Don’t be shy about telling him what you need. He will absolutely deliver.

Fantastic experience when I went to Geno’s. Got there before they opened and they waved me in and got to it. Besi did a great job, very thorough, comfortable and well done. I will certainly be back next time I’m in NYC for a bit of shaving pampering.

Geno's is a fantastic Barber with a great location. Best straight razor shave I've ever had done! Geno is a true professional and keeps up with the current trends. Geno takes walk ins, is a great conversationalist, and takes his time to give you the perfect haircut. I wish I could give Geno's more than 5 stars! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Cash Only!! Got a great haircut from Besi, reasonably priced at $50. But I didn’t realize they were cash only and didn’t have an atm card on me to go get any! They were very nice about it and didn’t make me feel bad about asking to come back the next day to pay.

Best barbershop in the city! Dean is an master barber, a true professional.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years! I get my hair cut by Dean, and used to get it cut by Geno for many years. Everybody here is good! Really talented group, good prices, great service. Highly recommend!

Stepped into Geno's for a clean up, simple #3 up top and #2 on the beard...hot damn, service was #1! While traveling for work it's enjoyable to drop into a new spot for a straight razor shave and clean-up, for that Monday morning sharpness. I only mention this as I've been fortunate enough to visit chairs around the planet...and Geno's is THE best I've ever had. Basi (Pronounced Bessie, I believe), couldn't speak much english, but he didn't have to. He spoke the language I was looking for...a clean cut and shave. When in town, Geno's will be first in line, then Luger's. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for an old fashioned, proper, straight razor shave.

Geno’s is the best. Not uncommon to see someone like Jack Dorsey getting his haircut in the chair. You can’t go wrong with this Barberia in the village, it’s the best!

I cannot afford this place any more, but if you can Gino does a great job and he is super nice. The location is probably the main reason for the high price.
Most of the barbers are from Montenegro where a haircut is probably $10 or $15 but don't quote me on that. And if he can get $62 per cut the more power to him.

With great hair comes great responsibility, so I trust Geno and Yuri at Geno's Barberia. I've been getting my hair cut here for years despite only just recently actually moving to NYC. Consistently the best haircut I've ever had in a friendly, but no-BS environment. A friend recommended me and I pay it forward whenever I can.

My partner is a regular here and has loved the experience since being committed to this one barber shop. I have gotten my haircut here a couple of times in the past. The staff execute with a excellence and are great conversationalists. If you are looking for a new barber, check these guys out! It's worth it!

Geno was a genius! He understood right away what I wanted and was respectful about the fact that it took me over a year in lockdown to get my hair this long. Will 100% come back! 10/10 recommend!!!

I’ve been seeing Yuri for a few years now and the man always does amazing work. Very detail-oriented and always wants to make sure you leave satisfied with your cut. I live in SF now and still can’t find anyone that matches not only the quality of the cut, but also the value. Would highly recommend!

Ricci had been cutting my hair for 7+ years, always does a great job. Seems like the other barbers in the shop know what they’re doing as well

I'm not sure why the comments say this place is overpriced, it's cheaper than what I pay at home. I was lucky to be able to walk in and get Ricci, and I highly recommend him. He did an amazing job. When I asked for a 0 fade, he did it to perfection. I haven't had a cut this good in a long time, and I'll definitely be making an appointment the next time I'm in town.

After seeing Ricci - who ought to go by Picasso - for over 5 years, I can confidently say that a haircut at this shop will have you walking out prepared to rob a bank and steal your arch nemesis’ girl. It is truly the Spice Adams video of a fade metamorphosis. This man Ricci slings a razor like Edward Scissorhands and OJ. The shop is full of fade vets who let you dictate your experience (to chat or not to chat) while the Grateful Dead subtly serenades you in the background. These boys bestow a lord’s blessing on thy cranium and I would travel from Egypt to receive such a gift.
