An absolute OG NYC gem that has a great selection for any type of dietary preference and a team of true characters! My personal favorites are their incredible house-made soups as well as vegan gluten-free cakes and desserts. So good!

Love their wide selection of non-dairy foods. They have delicious vegan slices of cake and their coconut yogurt is delicious too.

It’s one of my favorite stores when I want to explore new health and nutrition products that aren’t over commercialized. This store also has amazing health cosmetic products upstairs with seating area. The downstairs is all about food. They have a bakery and a savory buffet. Most things are plant based and they have some clean animal proteins for your non-plant based friends.

The counter of sweet scares me because I want to buy it all. It’s a nice sight to see so many options. They even have gluten free options.

The shopping space for food is small but upstairs has a lot of room. Be friendly because these people are friendly. It’s a boutique grocery store that attracts all types of people.

Where else can you find snacks made of low glycemic products?

This is a great store for truly health conscious and health curious people. Catering to mainly vegans with options for their friends!

Great health food market! been going here for years and they have a really great variety of food, produce, premade meals, etc.

I love this store. Old school co-ops vibes. Great variety of products and wellness supplies. Prepared food is hit or miss depending on your tastes, I really like some of it. Shopped and ate here for years when living near by. Certainly my favorite health food store in NYC.

Great selection of organic stuff! They even have dining area on 2nd floor!

One of my go-to places in NYC for organic vegan options, food supplements, produce and natural body care products. Truly one of a few remaining stores that is surviving what's happening and still going strong. I would like the management to consider bringing back at least hot soups - many of the health food stores are doing it and I believe it falls within the guidelines (if other businesses are able to do so). Also please fix your hours on google to save people's time unless you really plan on staying open until 10 pm. Otherwise I still have tons of love for you guys! Keep it up!

- Many unique, difficult to find items
- A wide variety of *selections* in many areas such as nuts, grains, milk alternatives, etc.
- Vegan options
-Dairy free options
- Lots of *labeling* so you know what the ingredients are
- Buffet
- Hot and cold prepared foods and desserts counter
- Juice counter
- Friendly service :)

Cons:
- A little pricey, but I'm still willing to support a local shop over a conglomerate :)

Great store - a lot of unique items which can only be found here. Reasonable prices, but the selection is awesome. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well!!

Just started going back here after way too long an absence. The buffet bar is as good as ever and I have to say it is a total pleasure to encounter such friendly staff - and not in a Trader Joe's 'Stepford Wives' fashion. Everyone is genuine and not in a corporately enforced way:)
Oh and they have just added self service check outs too.
It's a bit out of my way but definitely worth it and will be returning frequently.

Their organic bakery is incredible. It has extensive collection of cookies, cakes and other delights. All baked on the premises and always fresh and yummy . Made without the bad stuff..and is delicious.

I have a soy allergy and I'm trying to go vegan. The staff (in particular Michal) is excellent at finding soy-free plant-based foods that are fresh, easy to work with, and can be used both at home, and for making lunch at work. HIGHLY recommend this place.

Most amazing grocery store I've ever been to - I'm obsessed. They have everything you could want and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. I love their prepared hot and cold foods. Everything is fresh and healthy with the best ingredients you can buy. Can't recommend this place more! Whoever is in charge clearly cares SO much about their customers and quality standards/the environment.

Great spot for hard-to-find health goods, like Spike seasoning. The produce is fresh, the deli counter looks tasty, the supply of bagged teas is exhaustive, and there's even a lunch buffet (charged by the pound) that always has a couple things you want to try. Prices are reasonable.

I tried to do a special order for some expensive olive oil,as I had done many years ago,but they were unable to get the same individual to help me that I had worked with before.I had appreciated being treated so well by that individual that it wouldn’t be the same ordering without that caliber of treatment.I had a very positive experience with the store and always wish to remember that.

Excellent produce and knowledgeable gentleman can answer any vitamin questions you have. It's a very clean market.

They have lots of raw food delis, salad bar and sweets!!! And everything is really great.
(Though sometimes too sweet, particularly ones added with agave... But "no sugar added" goods are extremely delicious!

I may be able to quit craving unhealthy, sugar-loaded sweets! ( good replace) ex) Banana pudding, apple pies, etc etc...
