These guys are truly amazing. They are always going the extra mile for us, and are always here when we need them. We are a local used car dealer, and we trust them with all of our Transmission work and then some. Mikey and the rest of the crew there will treat you like family. Highly recommended

On my initial call to Monroe transmission, I spoke with Mike, the owner. I was so impressed that he spent the time explaining to me what the problem maybe with my car. He was so honest over the phone, I felt very comfortable bringing my car in to his shop. As it turned out Mike told me that I did not need a new transmission like the dealer said I did. He saved me over $3000 which I am forever greatful. I have already referred several friends to Mike and will continue to do so.

Awesome service, brought a busted up transmission on a chevy impala and they worked there magic on it and it works like a charm now. Nobody else wanted to touch my transmission due to some hard to find gears, but they fixed it super fast. Thank you for making service at a mechanics shop easy to deal with no hassle after service was rendered.

Excellent service! After having had our 99 Saturn SL2's transmission fluid and filter changed at another place, we started finding small puddles of fluid in our driveway. My husband took the car back to that place and they wouldn't touch it, saying that the main gasket was shot and take it to a transmission shop. I did some searching and found Monroe as the highest rated shop around. We were quoted the cost for that gasket replacement, but when we took it to Monroe yesterday and they had a chance to clean it up, it didn't need that at all...the filter was not properly tightened down, allowing the fluid to spray all over! Now, a less honest place might have gone ahead with the original repair and price, but not Monroe! They took the time to find out what the problem really was, and we ended up paying a lot less! My husband also got some suggestions from Erik about some other issues that our car has. Thanks so much! Highly recommend!

Great place and even more so, GREAT customer service!!

Purchased my daughter’s first car for her from his other business, Atlantic Auto Brokers on West Ridge Rd, a few months ago. Mike and the crew fixed everything that was needed to pass inspection and deliver the car to us. .
Within a week, we noticed front end noise and the smell of gas and immediately called the shop. The owner (Mike) called me back and we made an appointment to bring the car in. At Monroe they were thorough and realized that the the gas tank needed to be replaced (a previous repair from previous owner went bad) and front bushings needed replacement.

Long story short, not only did the owner of Monroe cover all the labor but he brought his mechanic in on a Sunday to get the job done because he knew this was my daughter’s first car, and like any kid, wanted to get behind the wheel and go!
This place is top shelf! Would definitely recommend!!!

I brought my car here with a minor transmission code. They were able to identify the issue within a day. They took the time to do a thorough inspection of my entire transmission and found a root cause problem before my transmission failed. You can’t find better mechanics in Rochester. Mikey the owner is very professional and was on site to answer questions. They saved me thousands of dollars and I will never bring my vehicles to another shop!

I've had horrible luck with cars but Monroe Trans has been there for me! They have done exceptional work for me on both my Honda and my Nissan. Other places told me they weren't worth fixing and to scrap them. Monroe Trans was able to fix both of my cars and keep me from having a car payment. Thanks again guys!

Mike and the crew at Monroe Transmission had my Cummins dually rebuilt in a critically short timeframe so I was able to tow my trailer to Georgia when I went to close on my new house.
Their commitment to do high quality work as well as their follow up was second to none.
Mike even made himself available on the phone 24/7 while I was traveling because normally they like to do a follow up adjustment shortly after a rebuild and due to my circumstances they were unable to do so at the time.
I challenge you to find a shop that you walk into the 1st time and the owner gives you his personal cell phone number and tells you to call him 24/7, you won't find one.🦸‍♂

Cannot recommend these guys enough. I was traveling back from a delivery to one of my customers and something started to feel funny in the transmission on my van. Felt like it was really starting to slip and it does have higher miles so I expected the day to come. Needless to say these guys got me in and got me back on the road! I would not hesitate to bring them any of my trucks the next I am in need!

I dropped my Cadillac Escalade off on a Thursday morning to have some work done to the power steering. Chris was extremely nice, and knowledgeable. He informed me that the car would be done by the end of the day. The truck was done in a timely manor, and done the right way. A+++ customer service, and a great price.

Had my alternator go in my Hyundai. Called the Dealer and the part was over $500 and there labor rates were astronomical. Was referred here by a friend and saved a lot. My definite go to garage. Was fixed and on the road in a timely manor with excellent communication from start to finish.

Brought my car in on 12/27 because my car started shaking out of nowhere when I accelerated. I assumed the worst and dropped it off with a description of the problem. They called that evening and told me that it was just a bent rim, and gave me the contact of where I could get one for a good price. I picked up my car that next day and they didn't charge me a cent for the diagnosis. They really could have told me anything, but instead they were honest and extremely helpful.

If you're looking for an HONEST repair center, you cannot beat them.

Had a transmission leak on my Toyota. Dropped it off to have them look at it and they discovered that it was only a small quick fix. Did not charge me a dime! Very honest! Any other transmission problems I have they definitely have my business!

This shop is the most HONEST I've ever been to. The owner was on site both times I visited for a main shaft bearing noise from my manual trans. 2010 Kia Forte. He explained to me that the noise was in the very early stages of a bearing failure and that I still had many more miles to go before I needed work done. These guys have been in business for a LONG time and it's obvious when you pull up. Weathered parking lot and building aside, you just get the feeling these guys know what they're doing and they are there to serve you, the customer. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE.
