Alterations of Springdale

Irene is hands down the best seamstress you can go to in Cincinnati, especially for wedding dresses. I drove all the way from Tampa to have my fittings here-they’re that good! My situation was not one that many alterations places felt comfortable with either. Basically, my dress came in a bit close to the wedding date (it came in April wedding was in July) and I had lost 30 pounds and needed the dress to be taken in quite a bit and in a ‘shorter’ amount of time. There was also a lot of beading involved with my dress. Several places turned this job away but Irene said she could turn it around with time to spare before the wedding (and if I was in the area I’m sure it would be even less time too!). The dress fit perfectly and looked so beautiful. I’m so thankful I was recommended Irene and want to recommend her to you as well. On top of that, she helped with another dress emergency for my wedding outside of my bridal gown. One of my bridesmaids had to cancel a few days before the wedding and I found another one to fill in and use her dress. We told the situation to Irene who graciously was able to help us and made the dress fit wonderfully for my bridesmaid mere days before the wedding! In short Irene provides excellent service, quality alterations, and is extremely knowledgable for both bridal and everyday clothing needs. Definitely recommend having plenty of time for these things but push come to shove Irene works well under pressure and can save the day:). They been alternating my clothes for years. They're very professional they even alternated my wedding dress last year and added a strap in the back to hold my sleeves up, very trustworthy and the prices are reasonable

Have gotten my pants hemmed here multiple times and have had no issues. Was $18 per pant which seems a little high but besides that I would recommend!

Bought a leather jacket that was the perfect fit in all places but the sleeves. Came in and got them trimmed 2 inches shorter; they were even able to keep the zipper detail! I’m thrilled with the results. The entire process only took a few minutes, from the initial sizing to the final try-on, with a turnaround of a week. All at a fantastic price too. I’m so impressed; can’t wait to wear it around. I’ll be recommending their services to family & friends in the area, and will be taking all my nicer clothes here for alterations. Thank you!

The women were kind & very helpful. I didn't catch their names but one lady was blonde & altered my suit perfectly just 4 days before my wedding. She received my suit in from Pursuit & worked a miracle. The 2nd lady I worked with had red hair & also treated me extremely kindly & showed me how to adjust my shirt to lay perfectly with the jacket.

Very friendly and knowledgeable group of people! I had my bridesmaid dress alterations done and picked up in a week!

I have been going to them for years upon a recommendation of a good friend of mine. Most recently, they did amazing work on dresses for my daughter, mother and me for my son's wedding. I always highly recommend them to everyone I know. Not only are they professional but pleasant as well.

Highly recommend! The woman working was so nice! She was very knowledgeable about what alterations were needed and what the material could withstand. I was so impressed by the quality of the work and that she finished the alterations in one week! She altered the beaded bust of my wedding dress, added a hook and eye at the top of my zipper, replaced a button, and attached a wrist loop for dancing. Can’t wait to wear it!

Been taking my clothing to them for many years and everything has always come out top notch; looks like the alteration was the original manufacture of the garment. They are also very honest with alterations that won't work and tell you upfront so that you aren't disappointed and can make an informed decision about items that may not be worth the effort. Highly recommend!!

Alterations of Springdale did the alterations for my wedding dress. I was really worried about taking my dress anywhere because I was scared something would go wrong. With not knowing much about alterations, each staff member was encouraging and took the time to talk myself, my sister, and mom through all of our questions. At the end of our conversation, I trusted them to make the proper alterations. I was so happy with the work that they did. They prices were also very reasonable!

The owner altered two brand new items for me and it was not an easy fix. But she did a superb job. She came recommended to me and I will do the same if anyone else needs a tailor. Her service was excellent and the time frame was great.

They did a great job at altering my daughters homecoming dress in only s couple days! I am so appreciative of their quick turnaround and reasonable prices! I will definitely return the next time the need arises!!

After three other places did not even return my call about altering my daughter's prom dress, I found Alterations of Springdale. My daughter took her dress there and they promised it would be finished in a week. It was and the dress looks great. They were incredibly nice to my daughter which is not always the case with adults when they deal with teenagers. I will definitely use this establishment again for future alterations!

Beautiful work done shortening my daughter’s prom dress last year. The top fabric was a floaty chiffon, difficult to stitch and easily snagged. They hemmed it flawlessly! We are heading there tomorrow to get this year’s dress altered!

I took a uniform shirt in to have patches sewn on, the very nice woman asked if a certain length down from the shoulders was okay for the patches, without giving it much thought I said that was fine. Well, my patches were a little too far down my arm than I needed them to be. Completely my fault because I said yes to where they were put on. I took my uniform shirt back to have the patches removed and sewn up higher on the arm. They did a wonderful job (again), and they were so kind as to not charge, even though I had my debit card in my hand because I felt as though I should pay because it wasn't their fault. I work in a profession where I will often need alterations, patches sewn on, etc. and will continue to use Alterations of Springdale.

She’s amazing!! Fast and skilled. Fixed my shorts same day. They look brand new. I’m very happy! If you need anything go here!

Thank you, to the wonderful ladies at “Alterations of Springdale”. I have taken many designer jeans there in the course of several weeks, to have them tapered at the leg. WOW !!
The alterations were completed on time, as promised and completely to my satisfaction. In fact, pleased with the first alteration, I called and acknowledged, the commitment to detail was impressive. My designer jeans now have a fresh, updated look.
