Massimo's Ristorante

I have followed this restaurant from it's years in Everett up until now. The food is always consistently great. Portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Never got a bad meal here. The current location is easy to find, my go to plates are the carbonara and tortellini alfredo. Amazing!

We couldn't have been happier with our meals and the fantastic waitress who took exceptional care of us. This place never fails, always consistent, and quality food. Even the owner checks in on his customer's yo make sure you're happy with your meal. Don't get me started on the superb home made desserts. Coming from a family who owned a bakery for 54 years I'm extremely fussy and Massimo's desserts are incredible. If he has his ricotta cake or his carrot cake order it.

Absolutely loved this place Max was a fantastic cooked! Everything he mad melted in your mouth i will miss this place so much from Max, Nancy and Donna! I will never find a place that had food like Massimo's!!

The 1st time eating at this Restaurant & it was excellent!! I had the insalata caprese salad & it was one of the best I have had. Super fresh & excellent portion sizes. They also have gluten free pasta for those with gluten allergies. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very reasonable prices as well.

Initially I was not impressed driving up or walking in, but the looks are completely deceiving. This was absolutely the best Italian food I've ever had in my life.

I love Chef Max's red sauce. My favorite, EVER. His Chicken Parm is so good I have trouble considering to order anything else. I had tried a bunch of North End Italian food, and 10 years ago when I discovered Massimo's in Malden, I found myself paying HALF as much for food I liked BETTER and ate there several times a week. Since they reopened in Wakefield, I go there exclusively whenever I want to treat myself to good Italian. My friends say his other sauces are good, and also dishes I have not tried. The place may be small and not so fancy, but I would be surprised and astonished if you were disappointed with the food.

My wife and I wanted to go somewhere new, so we picked Massimo's. I'm glad we did, the bread and dipping oil was excellent the best I've had. It is a small place and not noticeable from Main St. Definitely try them out, it's good home cooked meals.

I am not kidding there is nothing on the North End that can even hold a candle to this restaurant. It is definitely worth the trip, I live in Las Vegas and this is the one thing our family looks forward to everytime we visit Boston. The cook, the hostess, the waitresses are all wonderful and treat you like family the moment you walk in. From the appetizers, to the main dishes all the way to the desserts everything is AMAZING!!!! You will not regret visiting this wonderful little restaurant!!

So glad I found Massimo’s in Wakefield.
Tripe was superb and my wife had Ravioli with eggplant rolotini.
Delicious.
The home made pistachio cake was awesome !!
Servers were very personable and fun.
We will definitely be back.

The food here is very good. Pasta with red sauce is my favorite food and they have a few dishes that are easily vegan with lots of nice vegetables. Red sauce is indeed excellent.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant north of Boston. Chef Max does an incredible job with all of his creations. The waitstaff is always helpful (Donna) and will gladly guide you to an amazing meal and wonderful time.

The food is delicious! It always reminds me of my late Nonnis home cooked Italian meals! Not to mention the staff is great! The chef comes out and makes sure to ask every table if their food and service was good! I love the little places, always the best food and staff!!

Hidden gem awesome dishes , wonderful flavors shrimp scampi, eggplant rollatini and raviolis were awesome and reasonably priced ! Friendly owner came over to make sure we were happy with our selections.

Outstanding Italian food - call in the order if you want dessert! The cheese lasagna serving is large and so good, not saucey with a yummy blend of cheese. The take-out was hot when I got home and very fresh. I really enjoyed the caesar salad, I think the dressing is homemade (don't quote me) It's delish!! Lastly, I called in my order & they offered 3 different desserts. Wow the tiramisu is very authentic with strong favor, highly recommend.

Always a great meal. Have been eating Max's dishes for many years and he is always consistent. Grab a glass of the house red and enjoy a fabulous meal. You cant go wrong with any entree.

Go casual and get ready to eat great itailan food. No frills but a great place to go and eat and drink on the cheep. Homemade desserts too. Sauce fantastic!!

If you want the feel of an authentic italian restaurant, DELICIOUS large portions for an unbeatable price, and all in a cozy locally owned place, this is the place to go! Massimo loves to cook and share his food. And when he gets a break from his busy kitchen he usually comes out to greet his customers and hope to see smiling satisfied faces when he asks how their dinner was! Not only is he a chef but he also freshly bakes his desserts. My faves are his tiramisu and any of the cakes and mmmm lobster tails! Nancy is the other one running the show. On a busy night you'll see her running around doing whatever their business needs: helping waitresses, greeting customers with her sweet smile and making them laugh, cleaning tables, answering phones, helping massimo in the back and even cleaning dishes. If you look around at the staff, most are family or friends that turned into fam over the year. This is truly a family business!

I have a place in my heart for small businesses and what it takes to run one. I hope you fuys reading this does as well.

Although they try everything possible to satisfy every customer, not every customer will be. It makes me sad to see the bad reviews here. If youre coming here to just read the bad reviews, youre doing yourselves a disservice. Theres more good ones than bad so please make your decision from that. Go in and see for youself! ;)

Everything was fantastic! The dipping oil was flavorful and garlicky; the fried calamari was crispy and not at all greasy; and the pink sauce for the lobster ravioli was so good I could drink it.

By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to!!! The employees were wonderful and the chef definitely knows what he's doing!!! We are from the west coast and everytime we come to Boston our first stop is always Massimos!!!!!
