My husband & I both go to this practice. He sees Dr. Bauchman & speaks highly of her. Only complaint is sometimes it’s hard to schedule with her if a medical condition arises & you need to be seen quickly. I originally started seeing Dr. Otoctaviano (sorry for botching the spelling) but unfortunately he left the practice. I’ve been seeing Kristen Wisler for a little while now & think she’s awesome! So thorough, yet she gets me in & out as fast as possible. I can usually get an appointment same day if not next day when feeling sick and/or dealing with an issue. Kristen is the nurse practitioner at this office & she does a phenomenal job!!! I actually prefer to see her over the other doctors. She’s knowledgeable, takes the time to really listen to you & thoroughly evaluate your symptoms. I would highly recommend!

I was originally a patient of Dr. Ottaviano but he left and I was a little sad to see him leave because he seemed to genuinely care. I was then transferred to Dr. Bachmann; the one time I have seen her, she was above reproach in ensuring I was taken care of.

A couple of times over the last year, I have had to be seen at last minute by Kristen Wisler and this is what my comment is most about. I went to the urgent care on a Saturday and was told I had pink eye. A few days later, I still felt under the weather. Kristen expressed that she felt it wasn’t pink eye and because of my auto-immune disease, she thought it may be inflammation and that I needed to see an ophthalmologist. I was seen by the ophthalmologist the next day and was diagnosed with uveitis. The ophthalmologist even expressed several times that the Doctor who referred me was “astute” because this can be easily overlooked. I told her that she wasn’t a medical doctor, she was a nurse practitioner which made it all more the impressive!!! If Kristen didn’t refer me out, I would still be in pain and possibly suffer permanent damage in my eye. I recommend this practice without any reservations!! Thank you Kristen for taking the time to assess my records and having the humility to refer me out!

These guys really care about their patients. They listen and go out of their way to meet your needs. No unnecessary test as some doctors will do, only what you truly need.! Dr. Jean and Dr. Gina are very good doctors. I prefer Dr. Jean she really listens to what you say and try's to diagnose you properly keeping in mind medicine is not a direct science!

Staff is very kind, helpful and personable. No wait time, clean and comfortable office. Kristen Wisler the CNP was very thorough and gave me a detailed treatment plan. The office even called in my prescription before I left.

Recently went to Dr. Groen, and he’s the most understanding and caring doctor I have ever had. My entire family goes to this practice and we have no complaints. The facility is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the doctors are helpful and nice.

Dr. Groen is great! He treats you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms.

I really liked Dr. McKee, but I went through a bad situation with the nurse that has me very tempted to not return. Dr. McKee told me I'm due for a tetanus shot, but that I didn't have to get it then if I didn't want. I had just gone through a bad panic attack two days prior, and I know Dr. McKee could tell that I wasn't in a very good place with my moods. I agreed to it but then got upset when the nurse came with the shot, and changed my mind. I have a hard time with shots. I had a bad reaction to a flu shot last year that had me close to calling 911. It had been just 10 years or slightly less since my last tetanus. I feel doctors over-vaccinate and tried to explain this - nurse ignored me. I could have flat-out refused it, but I was so anxious at that point, I was worried about going into a full-out panic attack. I feel like any nurse should be able to realize what kind of state I was in, and known to hold back. I was given a shot against my will two years when I was in the hospital (because I had a panic attack that they did not know how to properly deal with). So, this experience was particularly traumatic.

I haven't felt normal on and off since the shot. I take strong medications for BPD. I do strongly feel there was/is some kind of reaction. I've had fits on and off since. I feel fine most of the time, then go into spells where all I can do is dwell on this situation. My husband came close to leaving me because I got upset and tore my lab work. I will do my labs because I do trust this doctor, but I don't think I can go back to this office. I will definitely explain this to them when I call to get a new lab sheet. I really liked the doctor and her staff (with the exception of the nurse). They ended up having me back in to observe me because I called when I got home since the form they gave me said to do that if I felt unusual after the shot. I'm glad that they did this, though I felt uncomfortable about driving since I started feeling poorly as I was leaving the office, and really didn't feel safe driving home. I started feeling better in the midst of the phone call, but they insisted I come back anyway.

For the record, people with BPD are hard to get along with; we end losing most people in our lives. But, a part of that is that we have to be assertive with medical people because we end up being abused if not. People tend to confuse "mentally ill" with "mentally disabled." I need to learn to trust my instincts because my instincts told me not to go to this appointment.

Dr. McKee had me in tears because of how rude and offensive her bedside manner is. The front office staff is awesome and so sweet. The nurses are very nice as well with the exception of one or two. I will never go back after 5 years of being a patient. My old doctor left which is why I had to see McKee. They got 2 stars because the office girls are so nice.

After telling them I was taking my business elsewhere, I get a letter in the mail a few days later from Bachmann that she's terminating the provider-patient relationship and to sign and return a release of medical records form which they didn't even enclose.. If you're going to try and quit after being fired, at least do it right. Thanks for the laugh though! Obviously would not recommend this place, Ohio Health is so much better.
